Antique Perfume Bottle with large glass stopper, 8-1/4 inches tall
Thank you for viewing my auctions. Offered to you is a Antique perfume bottle with round shaped shopper. The Stopper is 3-1/4 inches round with glass plug that is an additional 1/2 inch. The round portion is ornate with a pressed glass design that has bubbles inside of it. It is of about 1/4 inch thickness of glass that was created by taking a plain piece and fusing it to an ornate piece with the design when created. This creates a seam around the center of the outside of the glass but the design is seen through the it. One side smooth and the other the actual art work. The area that slides into the bottle( I call the plug) is solid glass and the very top of this piece as well as the bottom have spider bite type chipping that could be sanded by a professional. These are not deep gouges but exist around it. The Bottle portion is a thick heavy ... moreglass that is seamed on the side and fused together in its creation. It has lovely design with scalloped foot. There are no chips on this piece but if you stick your finger down the bottle you will feel the spider bites at the lower area of where the plug rests.This could be in the making of it or created through aging. It is not noticeable to the outside. The stopper and the bottles fit very well together and it is not top heavy, they are an excellent marriage. Thank you once again for choosing my auction. This is a Wonderful. Small, Figural Perfume or Cologne Bottle from the 1880's- 90's, of a Baby Elephant hugging a flower covered bottle or flower covered post. It is clear and measures 3 7/8" tall and 1 1/4" across widest part of bottom. There is a little residue in the bottom, but the bottle is in Very Good condition, with no cracks or chips. Does have a very small rough edge about 1/4" long on bottom, but just a flaw in making. There is a faint#936 embossed on the bottom of the bottle. The crystal glass bottle itself is 3 inches tall, 1 3/4 inches from side to side and 1 3/8 inches front to back. The overall height of the bottle with cap is 4 inches. Beautiful and clean in and out. The metal work is in great shape with no visible scratches or gouges. The front of the red glass on left/top has a tiny dink in the red part of the glass. Richard Hudnut was one of the first American chemists who got the idea of producing French-style perfumes. Something he started in 1880 with his"Queen Anne" fragrance. He had the bright marketing dea of selling his perfumes"on approval" meaning that nhe refunded customers who were not pleased with what they smelled. His being an(already) fairly large mail order business, customers could not try samples and he made up for it. After"Queen Anne" he continued with"Violet sec" Aimée" DuBarry" and"Vanity" Hi final and best known perfume was"Three Flowers" in 1915. Having earned a considerable fortune, he retired to France in 1916 after selling the company. Here is a large bottle of"Three Flowers" Eau de Toilette. Measuring 5.5" in length and height, 2" ... morein width, made of heavy clear and frosted glass. This is really a beautiful piece. Please check my pictures as they are part of my description. As you can see. The glass applicator is broken but most of it is there and with a dot of glue, it's an easy fix. There is a couple spots of minor tarnish that I didn't try to clean but I'm sure it could be cleaned.It stands nice and strait but the base is possibly pushed in ever so slightly. As you can see in the pictures, It looks great. On one of the BEVELED glass panels, there is a small area where the metal doesn't fit tightly to the glass but when I look with a jewler's loop, it appears that it may have been that way since it was made because the only thing keeping it raised is brass solder. The few flaws are very minor and when this is on your dresser, all you see is beauty.

Very nice decanter or cologne bottle with stopper. Measures 5" tall. Very good condition. Stopper has chips(see photo) There are a couple of scratches. The inside has a little cloudiness/milkiness. ANTIQUE 3 1/8" PERFUME BOTTLE CUT GLASS MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA
This listing is for a rare item my husband found probably 35 or more years ago and brought it home to me. We are downsizing(at least I am) and I am giving this little beauty a chance for a new home. It is made of cut glass which is clear and it has amber lines in between the clear glass. In between the amber are tiny cuts in the glass. The top of the bottle is made of brass and the top unscrews for filling or using the perfume. There is little to no wear on the brass. It is 3 1/8" in length and it is marked on the brass: Czechoslovakia. The name is in two sections with Czecho and underneath slovakia. I put powder on the letters on one image to show the tiny letters more clearly. That is why you may see powder on the top. I am not an expert on perfume bottles of this type. Pierre-Francois composed and manufactured custom perfumes with the help of his two sons, Aime& Gabriel. His unique approach was to personalize perfume for a specific person, place or event. Honore de Balzac commisioned his own eau de toilette during the writing of Cesar Birotteau. And the periodical La Sylphide. Le Journal des Elegances, scented each issue with a different fragrance by Guerlain. Guerlain catered to the high society of Paris. And obtained a very loyal following. This Beautiful Vintage Art Nouveau Blown Glass Perfume is in very good condition. It has a thin etched glass construction with gold paint accents. It measures approximately 8" tall and was handmade. Etched& painted. It has no chips and no cracks. The gold trim has has some pitting and some scratches as shown in the photos. I rinsed the bottle out with hot water so you can see steam condensing. Antique Crystal Perfume Bottle Glass Decanter 8" Tall
Up for Auction is this Antique Crystal Perfume Bottle. I couldn’t find any markings on it. Overall height is 8 ¼” Octagonal base is 1 ¾” wide, widest part of bottle itself is 2” in diameter, lid/finial part is 2 7/8” wide x 3 ¾” tall x 3/8” thick. There are some small cracks around the bottle opening as you can see in the photos, it is still nice and solid at the opening where the cracks are, other than that this piece is in great shape. French Delvaux 8" Perfume Bottle RARE 1920's 18 Rue Royale France Hand-Painted
For your consideration. This stunning, RARE, hand-enameled large perfume bottle with stopper by Delvaux. Once upon a time located at 18 Rue Royale. In Paris. Made in France" is hand-written in enamel on the bottom of the bottle. This features gold urns bursting with flowering foliage. This is early 1900's. Most likely 1920's and very possibly late 1800's. If you have any additional information, I would love to know. I have a larger identical version of this marked" Delvaux 18 Rue Royale. Paris" on the bottom from the same vanity set. The bottom has the pontil(or punt) mark from the cutting of the hand-blown glass. Very nice! This is 8" tall to top of stopper. Bottle is 3" X 2.75" I love how the rectangular shape of this curves and rounds out at the top. I can't seem to find this same pattern of ... moreperfume bottle by Delvaux on the internet. So this is extremely rare. And of the Delvaux bottles I found, there were only a few and they weren't for sale.
