The salt lid looks like someone couldn't open it, and used some sort of tool to grip the lid, causing little dents on opposite sides of the lid, just above the threads. The salt shaker also has a couple of very tiny flakes at the edge of the base, and the pepper shaker has a little bump just above the bottom, which occurred in the molding of the glass. These shakers were molded, then cut, and there are several very tiny imperfections in the making, which can be seen with close examination using a magnifying glass. Rose Perfume This is a very pretty vintage perfume bottle from Czechoslovakia made by Irving W. Rice. Commonly referred to as Irice. It is a clear faceted glass bottle with intaglio(reverse) cut stopper. The base is shaped like a 8-pointed star when viewed from the bottom. The slender neck holds a scalloped spade-shaped stopper with an ornate rose and leaf design. The stopper is in excellent condition, but the base of the bottle has chipping on 4 or 5 points of the star. The base is marked"Made in Czechoslovakia" in raised letters and still has the original foil label on the bottom. Criss-Cut Pyramid Perfume This is a good-looking vintage perfume bottle. Likely from Czechoslovakia around the 1920s-30s. It is clear glass bottle with heavily faceted cut base and simpler stopper. The stopper is a bit loose-fitting and a may be a replacement. The base is pyramidal and faceted with an intricate criss-cross pattern. There are no maker's marks that I can find. The bottle does have significant chipping around the various points of the base. Still, it is a pretty piece with plenty of appeal. Art Deco glass and guilloche enamel jewelled and gilded perfume/ cologne bottle. Made in Europe. Very likely Austrian Wiener Werkstatte or Paris, France. Dates to 1920-30's. Measures 5 1/2 inches high. Almost 4 inches in diameter at bottom. Outstanding quality: glass bottle reminiscent of figural stylised woman in a wide skirt. Glass is emerald green cut to yellow. Original full dauber at the end of the stopper. Stopper with rich gilding and wonderful faux emerald on top. The neck of the bottle has a band of fantastic guilloche enamel in a complex design in sparkling emerald green. Golden orange and gold. Various textured surfaces, parallel lines, squares within squares with irregularly sized borders. A golden masquerade mask with engraved detail. The bottle measures 6" tall(with cap) and is in excellent condition with no"flea bites" at the rim. Or indications of use, it is clean. The cap with frosted glass stopper weighs 74.1 grams. The silver top fits securely, but not too snug, the stopper has some chips, the rim of the cap is wavy, it has some minor dings and scratches, mostly surface scratches commensurate with infrequent cleaning. Overall, this piece is really pretty and well crafted, which is evident in the high grade materials, cut glass and 950 silver. The glass appears to actually be red glass with clear cut circular panels. The ruby red coloring is not"flashed" It is in excellent condition and I really can't find anything wrong with it. No chips. Cracks or repairs noted. The metal atomizer and collar are shiny gold tone and I do not see any dents to the metal. The glass syphon tube is intact but feels a little rough on the end so there is perhaps a fleabite I can't see. It is very clean inside and out. i have also created a little jewel accent for the place where you would normally attach the bulb. Hoffman Art Deco Clear Cut Glass Green Intaglio Woman Cupid Czech Perfume Bottle
This is a Czech perfume bottle from the art deco era(1920s- 1930s) I believe it to be a Hoffman. It is clear. With an octagonal intaglio green depression stopper featuring a somewhat nude lady keeping a bow out of cupid's reach and the traditional Hoffman butterfly mark in. The stopper is perfect. Condition is near pristine. The stopper has a perfect ground glass fit. This base is a beautiful cut crystal. Very well made. Measurements: 5" tall by 3" wide. Has the original silver label on the bottom but I can't make out really what it says. It also has"Made in Czechoslovakia" faintly water marked in to the base of the crystal. Old Art Deco Antique Cut Glass Gold Hand Painted Atomizer Perfume Bottle MOSER?
I will accept a return. But on my conditions. If I describe an item inaccurately or miss obvious damage, I will most certainly accept a return, but I must know immediately about any problems. I welcome any& all questions, so ask. This will help to alleviate any doubts you might have. I will allow 2 days after receipt of the item to hear from you. But check my feedback to feel secure about making a purchase from me. I try to provide good pictures& be picky about descriptions. This is a large& gorgeous hand painted heavy cut glass perfume bottle with enamel painted gold decoration. It is bordering on the Art Deco style. since it's been an atomizer, I'm guessing it dates from 1900-1920. It features that tell tale little sqiggle decoration frequently associated with Moser. It's quite large. About 5-3/8" high to the ... moretop of the brass fitting, about 5-5/16" across at widest& about 2-3/16" thick, tapering in going up to the top. It has some heft, weighing 1 pound 10 ounces. The gold is not perfect. But the decoration is there. There are some nips, the worst[not too bad though] being visible in I think picture 7. On the left side, not the front cut line, but the first side cut line, at the bottom corner where it then angles down to the base. Check the downward angles in my pictures. Truly for it's age& these precarious angles, it's minor. There is no hose& ball, just the fitting for it. There is a faint bit of'whiting' on the inside, but I can't get the fitting off to get in there to try to clean it. Still I'd rate this at 90% If you collect perfumes. This is a wonderful& substantial example.
