This highly collectible French crystal perfume bottle is in very good condition. Free of chips or cracks. For the most part, the inside of the bottle is fairly clean. It measures approx. 6" high with the ribbed stopper that has a hand ground tip. The original Art Deco metal type foil label may have been gold tone at one time. It's embossed, EAU DE TOILETE, LE No 1" RALLET, New York, Paris(see more photos below) The bottom is embossed, RALLET, along with another round stamp(hard to detect, possibly Baccarat? Circa 1900-1940 Art Deco Up for sale are 2 matching old vintage antique crystal Art Deco style perfume bottles. They are hand blown and then hand or wheel cut crystal bottles. The tops are spectacular with 3 circles on top of each other cut with a ribbed design on both sides. The circles are then framed with a ribbed scrolled border. The bottles themselves are round and have circular rayed designs all around the bottom. The bases are clear. But you can see the breakoff from the yoke when hand blowing the bottle. Each bottle and top weighs in at 13 ounces each. With the top in) They are exquisite and measure in at almost 7 1/2 inches tall. This is a gorgeous heavy crystal sparkly vintage perfume bottle- measuring 7" high. It is in lovely condition but does have some minor chipping around the base and some small nicks on the stopper. However. None of the chips are noticeable at all(I had to inspect this twice to see them) nor do they take away from the beauty of the bottle. My pictures do not do this justice! Stylized cuts include starburst on bottom of both pieces. The powder measures about 5 inches across at widest. The perfume measures about 4 1/2 inches across at widest. This is a stunning example of the quality glass work produced by Czech craftsmen. In this case specifically the Morlee company. The Czech/Bohemian glassware became as prestigious as jewelry and was sought-after by the wealthy and the aristocracy of the time. Czech crystal chandeliers could be found in the palaces of the French king Lois XV. Empress of Austria, and Elizabeth of Russia, and in Milan's La Scala. Bohemian crystal became famous for its excellent cut and engraving. This piece shows of just that in it's deep etchings! Offered for auction is a wonderful vintage 7-piece art-deco style perfume bottle set from the 1940s. The crystal stoppers on the bottles are very beautiful. I believe the carrier is Bakelite ~ although I'm not an expert and could be wrong ~ it's possible it's plastic.although it's in excellent shape for plastic. The bottles fit together perfectly. There are no scratches or nicks/fleabites on the glass. The set is 4" high with the stoppers. 2 3/4" high without the stoppers and the carrier is slightly more than 6 1/4" around at the base. This is a gorgeous e xample of the quality glass work produced by Czech craftsmen. Czech/Bohemian glassware became as prestigious as jewelry and was sought-after by the wealthy and the aristocracy of the time. Czech crystal chandeliers could be found in the palaces of the French king Lois XV. Empress of Austria, and Elizabeth of Russia, and in Milan's La Scala. Bohemian crystal became famous for its excellent cut and engraving. This piece shows off just that in it's deep hand crafted etchings!
