Stunning Antique English Cut Crystal & Sterling Silver Perfume Bottle / Flask
A wonderfully tactile scent flask. With it's deeply cut crystal in a series of star cuts within a diamond shaped lozenge. The glass is a beautiful Emerald green fading to clear at the bottom of the flask. The screw-top lid is decorated with repousse work crowned with a circular cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if you wished to personalize. The interior is cork filled to avoid evaporation of the precious contents. The silver is of course hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, Victorian in era. The makers initials CM are present for the silversmith, Charles May. Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/4" x 3" x 1" at widest. Up for auction is this lovely etched crystal mini perfume bottle with a sterling silver cap. It has the stopper and some sort of cotton in the top. The hinge is in excellent condition. It is 2 3/4" high(with the top) and approximately 3/4" in diameter. It also has a little hook/attachment which is right under the hinge. The bottle is in very good condition. ANTIQUE FRENCH CUT CRYSTAL PERFUME/SCENT BOTTLE IN GILDED CASKET
Here I have a gorgeous antique French perfume casket. The set includes four cut crystal bottles with faceted stoppers. The bottles rest in a gilded casket with a flower swag design. The cut bottles are are 1 3/4 inch square and just under 4 1/2 inches tall to top of faceted stopper. The casket base is aprox 4.25 inch square. For those of you who collect these caskets you must realize this is a large example. I would say this set is in very nice antique condition. One stopper is frozen in place and I would just leave it that way as you do not want to crack the neck off. I cleaned 3 of the bottles with the free stoppers and they display well with mild residue. The forth bottle with the frozen stopper has more and this can be seen in the photos. Some small edge nicks& stopper tip nicks. As you can see this is a very nice set and displays ... morevery well. It has a weight of almost 2 pounds as the bottles are solid cut crystal. I will wrap each bottle for safe shipment. Package will be shipped out via Fedex Ground with tracking. Beautiful Antique Crystal Perfume Bottle & Stopper w/ Deep Cut Floral Design
My Mom passed away suddenly on October 19th of 2011 and. After a year of selling, this is the last of what was her estate. As much as I wanted to keep things in the family, my brothers have no interest in most items, and my husband and I just don't have the room. My Mom, grandmother, great grandmother and great aunts were all collectors, and I seem to have inherited that gene. Unfortunately, we live in a retirement community, and even after having several sales on eBay, I still can't find a place for much of what we have. There is jewelry, paintings, toys, Indian jewelry and china pieces. So, painful as this is, more things have to go. Many things have been in the family for 4 generations. This is a gorgeous antique crystal perfume bottle that sat on my Moms dresser for many years. It is six sided both on the stopper and the base. The stopper has an engraved or etched floral design on 4 of the six sides. It measures 2 1/2" alone. The base is also six sided and has a floral design carved deep into two of the sides. The base alone is 2 1/8" Together they measure 3 7/8" high. I see no makers marks. I cannot stress how impressive. How feminine and how unique this bottle is. The only thing I see that is not perfect is a very small chip on the inside of one side of the stopper. I only noticed it on close examination. Because of this small flaw I am starting the auction price low. I am happy to combine shipping.

Beautifully cut lead crystal perfume bottle with an angular prism cut that allows you to see the rainbow of colors and the amazing view of two pagodas… one from the front and one from the back of the dabber top when exposed to the light. Inside the bottle is a tear shaped well for holding your favorite fragrance. The inside of the bottle above the well has been hand ground. Meyer Catalogs of that period which show similar ones. however since I could not locate this particular one Please note it is cut glass. Very beautiful at that. Six Antique Crystal Cut Glass Perfume Scent Bottle Sterling Silver Top Hinged Up for your consideration we have 6 beautiful glass or cut crystal perfume or scent bottles. 5 with hinged tops and one with a screw on top that has an attached glass dipping stick, visible in photo 7. The photos below will be doing most of the explaining for these pieces as they are photos of the exact pieces you will receive. All in all, none of the crystal bodies have any major damage, just a very few fleabites on the bottle with a ball top. I have included photos of all mouths of the bottles to show the condition of the stoppers, if any. I will list the condition of the stoppers by the bottles photo numbers. This beautiful antique cut crystal and sterling silver.925 perfume bottle was made in Sheffield. England, in 1904, by brothers John and William Deakin. The gorgeous repousse lid is detailed with scrolls and flowers and a center shield. Which is un-monogrammed. The hallmark, showing JD over WD, Sheffield, 925, and 1904, is on the collar of the lid. It is in very fine antique condition. With very minor wear, considering its age. Details: The exterior cut glass has no damage, chips or cracks that I see. Very minor scuffing on the bottom. The silver collar inside the bottle has a small dent, visible in the photos. The inside edge of the bottle has a thumbnail size hairline crack, which is stable(see photos) The multi-faceted stopper has one fleabite chip on a facet, and a couple of fleabites on the top and bottom edges, commensurate with use. ... moreThe repousse part of the sterling lid is almost flawless. Antique 1898 English Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle & Stopper w Sterling Silver Lid
Antique 1898 Birmingham. England Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle& Stopper with Sterling Silver Repousse Lid and Neck Measurements: 4 3/4" Total Height 3 1/4" Diameter 2" Base Diameter 1 3/4" Silver Lid Diameter 1 1/2" Silver Lid Height 5/8" Bottle Opening 1 1/4" Stopper Height 14.4 ounces- Weight Very good antique condition. Perfume scent bottle has four crosshatched pinwheel floral circles with a thumbprint center. The floral pinwheels are surrounded by cut eight and four point stars with the bottom having a cut starburst. The perfume bottle and stopper have no cracks. Glass has some surface use wear marks. There are small pinpoint dings to the edges of some of the cut crystal ridges. One of the central circles of the pinwheel flowers has a less than 1/8" chip on the circle's edge. The top monogrammed ... moresurface of the sterling lid is slightly dented with four pinpoint holes in the silver. Lid snaps shut. Cut crystal stopper has a bit of roughness to its top edge and minor use wear marks on the frosted stopper surface. Bottom of the bottle has a hand etched number 43. Hallmark on lid rim reads: S(maker mark) Anchor- P' Lion Unknown script initials on the monogrammed sterling lid. The bottle has not been cleaned and the silver has not been cleaned or polished.
