Criss-Cut Pyramid Perfume This is a good-looking vintage perfume bottle. Likely from Czechoslovakia around the 1920s-30s. It is clear glass bottle with heavily faceted cut base and simpler stopper. The stopper is a bit loose-fitting and a may be a replacement. The base is pyramidal and faceted with an intricate criss-cross pattern. There are no maker's marks that I can find. The bottle does have significant chipping around the various points of the base. Still, it is a pretty piece with plenty of appeal. Brass_ This piece is unique for the design of the glass which is made to simulate carved Malachite. The cap is original to the piece. It has its original glass dauber, and screws on and off securely. The detailed floral design is on the front and back of the bottle and the glass has a pretty combination of green colors. There is a small chip to the tip of one of the floral petals and there is a larger chip at the very bottom of the bottle(which you can see in one of the photos clearly) but both chips are noticeable only on close inspection. The glass still has a nice sheen with little surface wear. There is some darkening to the brass cap ... moreat its base but it still has a nice patina. Overall this is a charming and colorful, Malachite glass perfume bottle, that was made in Czechoslovakia during the late 1930's that is in very good condition.
