It ... morewas made by Henry Marc of Paris. The putti are taking birds from the nest at their feet. The open cage sits next to them. The two Sevres style porcelain panels also feature putti or cherubs with birds. I am not a clock expert so please bear with me. The clock has a pendulum that that is numbered"347" the same as the movement- so I think it's original. The key was made in England so I doubt that is original. I gently wound the clock a little(without the pendulum installed) and it runs. But obviously too fast. It chimes on the hour. I hung the pendulum where I thought it should go and the clock did not run very long. Please email me if you have any specific questions, and I'll do my best to answer them. SIZE: The clock is 12.75 inches tall. And approximately 13.5 inches wide. It weighs 11 pounds 3 ounces. The clock face is just under 3.5 inches diameter. CONDITION: There are some rubs and tarnish to the finish. I haven't tried cleaning the clock. I don't see any repairs or damage. In the photos. You can see what looks like some"separations" in the metal but it is not damage- some pieces were cast separately. Please see the close up pictures for the best description of the cosmetic condition. Beautifully modelled in crisp, white marble mounted with ormolu(finely gilded brass/ bronze) The clock movement is held aloft in a gilded drum by 4 white marble pillars with floral swags between. The ormolu pendulum is visible swinging below. Between the pillars is a charming figure of Cupid, carrying his torch to light the flame of love. To the top is a pair of love birds with a flaming torch é and a quiver of arrows. Seated amongst a swag of roses. The swags and love birds are a darker colour. Contrasting nicely with the ormolu and the white marble. The candelabra are conforming in style with three lights and arms modelled as ornate foliage with mythical creatures. The dial is enamel on copper with delicate floral swags between the numerals and finely fretted gilt brass hands. The bezel is fitted with convex glass. The French movement is by A. D. Mougin and is of high quality. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. The ormolu Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running! Condition of the case is excellent. The original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The marble has discoloured in places to a mellow off-white and there are some nibbles to the edges and a knocked corner to the left hand side rear of the base of the clock. The dial is also in excellent condition with no chips or scratches, just some very slight fading to the lettering. The set makes a stunning display as you can see below. A. D. Vintage 12 Piece Filigree Ormolu Vanity Set-Victorian Floral & Cherubs Complete!
Vintage 12 Piece Filigree Ormolu Vanity Set-Victorian Floral& Cherubs Complete! UP for sale is a stunning mix of older vintage filigree ormolu 12 piece vanity set with a lovely hand held fan(makes 13 pieces total) The set has been lovingly taken care of over the years-there is no damage that I can see.no missing metal or pieces to the filigree. Some of the older of them do have some rich darker patina but no oxidation. There are a few of the pieces that have a makers mark on the bottom but unable to attribute them. I will break down each of the pieces for you. 1.Tray-measures 17 inches long x 11 inches wide. It has beautiful roses on each of the handles and velvet lining on the back. The mirror has no cloudiness and no flaws. Quite beautiful and heavy! 2.Ormolu Perfume-measures 7.5 inches tall x 4 inches wide. Still has some old perfume ... moreinside. The dauber is intact! Yes-the glass dauber is still intact. The stopper screws into the bottle and has quite ornate filigree to it. The base has even more intricate filigree work with a lovely flower in the middle while the back has no flower. Unmarked. 3.Trinket box/jewelry box-measures 3.5 inches tall x 6 inches long. Has a glass cover on the top and velvet lining inside and on the bottom. Has 3 tiny stains on the velvet by the leg on the underside. The filigree work is also done beautiful and makes the box quite intriguing. Unmarked. 4.Powder box is from the 1940's era and has a bakelite knob on the top-measures 5.5 inches tall x 4 inches wide. Is a music box and is in great working condition! Again this piece is quite heavy. No filigree on it but the metal is gold toned and is in basket weave type design. It is adorable! 5.Lipstick holder#1 measures 2.25 inches tall x 5 inches long. Holds 6 regular sized lipsticks and 2 small or for Q-Tips. Has 4 cherubs holding it up with filigree work all around and on top. Nice weight to it and some age. Unmarked. 6& 7.Matched pair of lipstick holders-3.5 inches tall x 4 inches across the base. Vintage Ormolu Brass/Gold Plate Vanity Decanter with Etched Glass Stopper
This is an Ormolu brass/gold plated and cut glass decanter bottle. It is 7" tall. The bottle has a sanded stopper. The bottle has a chip out of the corner. See photo. The brass/gold plated holder is in excellent condition. It is very ornate with cornucopias of grape vines and other designs. The four feet are smoothed and turned under. This will be shipped with tape over the corner of the break in the glass. The brass holder is 2.5" square. After some searching. A replacement bottle should be out there in cyber land. The piece has been priced accordingly. The brass gold plate has not been cleaned or polished. I leave that to the next owner. LARGE VINTAGE BRASS OR ORMOLU PERFUME BOTTLE WITH CHERUBS,ROSES & GRAPES
This gorgeous perfume bottle is HUGE.8 3/4" high. 3 1/2"wide and 2 3/4" deep. There is a darling cherub or cupid on both sides, with lots of swirls& roses. The base has beading around the edge and a grape pattern. The glass perfume vial& the glass dauber are both intact. It does lean slightly to the back& there is a tiny chip on one cherub's elbow, but it is still a beautiful piece. Very heavy, and no marks that I could find. Ribbed glass perfume bottle features decorative floral open work ormolu collar around the body. It has a tall, oval, reticulated and embossed floral stopper with the original glass dauber. This piece measures approx. 6 1/4" high to the top of the stopper, and 3" across the middle with a 2" base. Signed in the middle of the stopper MATSON. This has a very art nouveau look with the large over-the-top flowers and gold coloring. We are told this is from the mid to late 1900's. This is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, breaks, touch-ups or repairs, there is also no discernible wear to the gold finish. The casting beautifully captures the flower heads and separates out the stems and leaves so they can all be enjoyed. A great piece that is as lovely to use and it is to look at. Good Luck! VINTAGE CZECH BOHEMIAN JEWELLED FILIGREE ORMOLU PINK SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE
STRIKING RARE EARLY 20th CENTURY ART DECO PERIOD BOHEMIAN CZECH GLASS JEWELLED FILLIGREE EMBOSSED PINK CLEAR AND FROSTED BEE POLINATING THE ROSE STOPPER PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE This highly collectable jeweled clear bottle. This little treasure is delicately executed with jeweled brass filigree. And embossed quartz-like roses. The stopper is the single etched intaglio of the bee pollinating the rose. The bottle is attributed to Bohemian Glass Movement from the late 1800's through the 1930's. The pictures really don't do justice to the piece while I tried my best. The workmanship and eye to detail in flowers and bees is amazing. The bottle is 3 1/2 inches tall Rarely does one see a vintage perfume bottle in such perfect form.

It is from 1950s or so. Large size Clear crystal large prong set Rhinestones have been applied to it to embellish this bottle with delight! SO GLITZY! Glass bottle inside- and glass dubber on the lid- in great condition. Beveled glass panels on both sides of the bottle. All rhinestones are clear crystal. The gilt metal is brass or some other ormolu metal with gilded plated surface- original gilding. Beautiful gilding. Still very shiny after all these years with beautiful charming age patina! This perfume bottle stands about 5 3/4 inches tall from base to top of finial. Gold design featuring leaves. Berries and petals on sheath over bottle and sunflower finial. Stopper is very heavy but is supported well because it fits so snugly in bottle neck. Gold sheath or jacket over bottle can be removed after the neck cap unscrewed. Bottle underneath in excellent vintage condition with no chips noted.

Circled with a sort of braided rope design trim the leaves. The large single gold Tea Rose finial on top clean and shiny gold. Glass dauber completely intact and unchipped. There is a bit of perfume residue at point where glass dauber meets gold. Tiny diamond patterned glass round bottle clean and unbroken.
