Ribbed glass perfume bottle features decorative floral open work ormolu collar around the body. It has a tall, oval, reticulated and embossed floral stopper with the original glass dauber. This piece measures approx. 6 1/4" high to the top of the stopper, and 3" across the middle with a 2" base. Signed in the middle of the stopper MATSON. This has a very art nouveau look with the large over-the-top flowers and gold coloring. We are told this is from the mid to late 1900's. This is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, breaks, touch-ups or repairs, there is also no discernible wear to the gold finish. The casting beautifully captures the flower heads and separates out the stems and leaves so they can all be enjoyed. A great piece that is as lovely to use and it is to look at. Good Luck! Large Vintage Art Noveau Style footed vanity perfume bottle ~ Jeweled with crystal Rhinestones~ Gilt ormolu metal with relief ornate designs~ Beveled Clear Glass panels~ top with cherub ~ bird inside the bottle dubber Please refer to the photos for the measurements* Large Perfume footed bottle with ornate relief cherub acanthus leaf designs. It is from 1950s or so. Large size Clear crystal large prong set Rhinestones have been applied to it to embellish this bottle with delight! SO GLITZY! Glass bottle inside- and glass dubber on the lid- in great condition. Beveled glass panels on both sides of the bottle. All rhinestones are clear crystal. The gilt metal is brass or some other ormolu metal with gilded plated surface- original gilding. Beautiful gilding. Still very shiny after all these years with beautiful charming age patina! For your consideration- Beautiful Vintage Matson Clear Glass and Gold Gilt Metal Perfume Bottle with Lovely Bird on the Top. The Gold Metal Covers on the Bottle is Very Ornate. The Bottle has Metal Sheaths and Stopper. It's a really Lovely Vintage Item. The Perfume Bottle is 8 1/8 inches tall and has glass dip stick. Bottle is in great condition with no chips and cracks. Antique Gold Filigree Vintage Perfume Bottle Glass Dauber Matson Ormulu
Excellent pre-owned condition. There is no marking. But I have found others very similar, also unmarked, but referred to as"Matson. The antique gold-brass-unknown metal is in very nice condition. Shiny still. But also has a nice patina from age. Can be polished but I think it's nice as is. Up to you. There are no visible scratches or defects. The glass is in perfect pre-owned condition. No chips. Cracks or scratches. The dauber is in one piece without any visible damage or marks. I thought the flower looked like a dogwood flower. But I have read that it's a shamrock. Measures approx 6.25 inches tall with dauber/top. And approx 3 inches wide at widest point. Please see photos and ask any questions you may have. Thank you.
