THIS IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL VICTORIAN DOUBLE ENDED PERFUME BOTTLE. IT IS A DEEP RUBY RED. THE GLASS IS MULTI-FACETED. THE LIDS ARE SILVER REPOUSSE. ONE SIDE HAS A CORK INSIDE THE OTHER ANOTHER SUBSTANCE. ONE SIDE WAS PROBABLY USED FOR POWDER. THE ONE LID HAS A SLIGHT BEND ON THE SIDE WITH A VERY SMALL CUT. OTHERWISE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. A GORGEOUS Antique 1800's Victorian 10 Sided. Ruby Glass Perfume/Salts/Scent Bottle,with Double Sterling Silver Ends. This lovely 10 sided lay-down perfumer bottle is a unique size.Measuring only, 3 3/4" long,with approx. 3 1/2" circumference. Bottle fits in the hand perfectly,and has a lovely feel. Double ends are sterling silver,however unmarked,have been positively tested. One end screws off,and is cork lined inside the cap. Opposite end has a hinged cap,that flips open to reveal a gold gilded,fancy cut-out designed screen. This would be the end that held salts,back in the day. Victorian double ended emerald green Scent Perfume Bottle
This auction is for a wonderful example of an emerald green double ended Victorian Scent or Perfume bottle. I've heard they used one end for smelling salts! It was donated to our local Habitat for Humanity. There are 10 shaped facets in the glass and it is a beautiful emerald green. It is in excellent condition with no fractures that I can see. The bottle necks are also intact with no chips. Both ends are antique silver. The tops on both the flip end and screw end fit securely and have no dents or other damage. For sale is this antique cut glass perfume bottle and smelling salts double bottle. There are residual salts on one end. The cap automatically locks closed and unlocks by holding the button on front. The hinge functions properly. The perfume end cap screws on and off. There are a few minor nicks on the edges of the 10 sided bottle. But no major chips or cracks. This piece is quite old and was made around the late 1880s. Likely in England. The bottle has a nice cylindrical form. The deep cobalt blue of the glass is simply gorgeous. ANTIQUE BLUE VICTORIAN PERFUME BOTTLE DOUBLE ENDED WITH SILVER LIDS
This is another perfume bottle from my 96 year old Mom's estate. This is an exquisite antique double ended glass perfume bottle with repouse decorative Sterling( Silver lids. One lid screws on and the other is hinged. I believe the end that screws on was originally used for smelling salts. Where the other was used for perfume. The hinged lid has what looks like a 4 leaf clover and the other lid has a intricate design of what looks like a flower in the middle and leaves surrounding it. Both lids have a firm and secure fit and there are no dents. The silver tops do not have a hallmark. So I am not sure if the tops are sterling or not. Many of these early Victorian pieces were unmarked sterling. The bottle is in very good condition; the glass part has diamond shaped facets with no cracks or breaks. The only thing missing is the tiny glass ... morestopper which is not usual since they usually didn't fit securely in these perfumes. This perfume bottle measures 4" long and approx. 15/16" in diameter. This is a quality double ended Victorian perfume bottle in great condition. THIS WILL BE A NICE ADDITION TO SOMEONE'S COLLECTION. Here is a beautiful Cut Glass. Double Ended perfume or scent bottle in Cobalt Blue. It measures 5" long and has hinged brass caps. Decagon in shape which most of the double ended bottles are Octagon(10 panels rather than eight or octagon. There is a dent in one of the end caps but both hinges work good. The bottle originally comes with glass stoppers that the caps conceal and they are missing. Also it has a small chip on one panel. Absolutely beautiful! Please see the pictures before you bid.

Antique English Double Ended Ruby Red Perfume Bottle - Victorian Sterling Silver
A really pretty and charming perfume or scent bottle in a fabulous rich ruby red colour. This is a slightly more unusual example of a Victorian double ended bottle. This one having a cylindrical form rather than the more often seen faceted type. The lids too are a little more unusual, again made from sterling(unmarked as most of these bottles were not) silver with a pretty floral embossed decoration. One end is hinged, with the little glass stopper intact and the other end is a screw-top with the cork to the inside of the lid to keep the liquid from evaporation. The glass on the perfume bottle is in good condition with no chips. No cracks and no breaks. The one cap comes off freely because the silver collar that goes around the end of the bottle is possibly missing, so there is only the cap to put on the end. The other unscrews and then you can see the little ... moreglass stopper, which goes in and out freely. Naturally there is some minor denting on the caps, so PLEASE VIEW ALL OF MY PICTURES. VICTORIAN DOUBLE-ENDED PERFUME/SCENT BOTTLE.RUBY RED,STERLING Here is a Victorian era double-ended perfume or scent bottle. The silver cap on one end is threaded and screws off. The other end has an etched silver has a hinge. The hinge needs repair but the cap fits the bottle snugly. There are some dings in both caps. The glass bottle is cranberry. Ruby red, faceted cut and in good condition, with small flea bites and scratches. The silver caps are both etched, not marked. The length is about 5 inches. Please ask if there are any questions. Antique Victorian Double Ended Amber Glass Perfume Bottles
This bottle is 5" long. One bottle side has a greater capacity then the other. This can be seen through a facet cut glass body. It has brass ends one end closes with a click and the other does not click close. It is old and was well used. The stoppers are missing, one end is open and other the stopper is broken in the hole. There are three slight chips in the facets. I have photographed it so the largest one is noticeable otherwise they are not obvious. There are some small dents in the brass tops. In good condition this type of bottle sells for $300.00 plus. This is a nice old bottle but I am disclosing all flaws.
