VINTAGE CRANBERRY GLASS ~ MURANO ~ VENETIAN ~ SCENT BOTTLE
For your consideration is a stunning. Beautiful, vintage cranberry perfume, scent bottle which I have been told is Murano or Venetian, but you look at my photos closely and you be the judge. It is beautifully faceted on the front and back with a center line going from the sloping shoulders to the bottom, which has a small flat ground base which allows it to stand if that is your preference. The top has the original cork and is tight fitting. There is one glass bubble near the base, which you can see in my photo, one that is smaller on the neck, of which I could not get a photo and a couple minuscule I also could not photograph. You can see the minor dings on the base. There may also be a couple"rough spots" look at the photos closely, I mention this for accuracy. The only visible chip is on the base which is really only noticeable ... moreupon inspection, you do not notice when it is standing. It measures 4& 1/4" high, 2& 1/2" across and 1" deep. MURANO VENETIAN ITALIAN GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE WITH PINK FLOWERS
Offered is a perfume bottle of exquisite beauty. Made in Italy. It is 4 1/2" tall, with a 2 1/2" stopper. There are five pink flowers embedded in the glass, with the pattern and color repeated in the stopper. The lower part of the stopper that fits into the glass is ground, and the inside where the stopper fits is also ground to insure a good seal for any perfume kept in this bottle. The bottom of the perfume bottle is also ground lightly so that it sets more securely, and there is a small gouge on the bottom that looks as though it came that way from the maker. This would be a lovely gift for any collector and would look beautiful displayed on a table or placed where the sun could set off the colors. Items are from a smoke-free home. Antique Venetian Murano Glass Chatelaine SCENT BOTTLE Franchini Bigaglia c1850
You are viewing two glass bottles. I am offering them at no reserve with a low opening bid. The first is a mid-nineteenth Century Venetian scent bottle with a bronze or brass lid topped with a green glass cabochon. The body of the bottle is a vivid pale blue with silver foil within the glass. I believe that bottle was made in Italy around 1850. Possibly by Giacomo Franchini and Pietro Bigaglia. It measures approximately 2 7\8 inches in length(not including the chain which would most likely attach the perfume to a chatelaine or belt) It is in"as is" condition with chips. Especially on the edge of the oval body; some splitting to the cap near the hinge; and corrosion on the chain. Please refer to photos or feel free to email me with any specific condition questions you might have. The second bottle is somewhat plainer but interesting ... morenonetheless. I think it might be a medical bottle. But it could have been used for perfume as well. It is a French bottle, circa probably 1870. When I was finally able to remove the glass stopper(after days of soaking in olive oil( there was a strong smell of ammonia. I have got rid of this and washed out the bottle. There is some embossed writing in gold on front of the leather case and some writing in pen between the top and bottom of the case when you open it. The glass bottle has no chips or cracks. Original stopper and case. Minor wear and tear to case. The bottle measures approximately 1 3\4 inches tall; the cylindrical case is approximately 3 inches tall. Victorian Murano Venetian Art Glass Pink Aventurine Scent Perfume Dresser Bottle
Offering a Victorian era Murano venetian art glass latticino scent perfume bottle with stopper. Bottle measures approximately 5 ¼ inches in height to the top of the dauber. It is shaped like a ewer with foot and applied handle. Design is alternating stripes of pink and white criss-cross ribbon. The pink stripes have prolific aventurine on the edges. Pontil is not ground. Overall condition is excellent with no chips. Cracks, flakes or repairs. Please see photo for several dirt specks in the glass done in the blowing process.
