Antique Czech Beaded Medallion Vanity Set.Antique Chrystal Perfume Bottles Set. This is a gorgeous antique Czech pressed glass vanity perfume set. It was made in the 1910-1930 in Czechoslovakia. There are two tall perfume bottles with a little difference and a lidded powder box. The bottles have the beaded Medallion pattern all around them and one large oval medallion in the middle of the stoppers. The finial stoppers have scalloped beveled rims and small beads around the large medallions. The bottles are about the same size. But the medallions on the finials are not. The bottles have the same medallion pattern all around with small and large beads around them. The lid and the glass powder box has a hexagonal form with beaded medallions all around it. The bottles are 7 1/2" tall and 3: wide in diameter on the bottom. The powder box is ... more4 1/4" in diameter and 4" high. The condition is very good. One of the finials feels a tiny little bit loose inside the bottle. Which happens sometimes because they were handmade. The inside of the lid of the powder box feels a little uneven on one side and could be little tiny chips. Altogether no other problems, no chips or cracks. This is a very nice 3pc. Hand blown, hand painted Bristol glass dresser or vanity set. It has 2 perfume bottles and a powder jar. The perfume bottles stand approx. 9 inches tall to top of stopper. The powder jar stands approx. 5 1/2 inches tall. All jars a milky white with a blue and green garland motif. Bottles and stoppers are in good condition. Stoppers are original to the bottles both the bottles each have corresponding numbers to their stoppers, s 54& 55. The powder jar is in good condition, there looks to be a manufacturer defect probably done during the blowing process, there is a dark bubble with dark lines, you can feel the bubble but not the lines. There are no chips or cracks on any of the bottles. There is some wear and gold loss, but to be expected for their age. The bottles measure 4 ¾ inches or 12 cm high to the top of cover. The dresser box measures 2 ¾ inches high. And is 4 ¼ inches or 11 cm at its widest. The bottles are clear crystal with a ribbed body and a scalloped edge shoulders. All the pieces have a sterling silver cover with an engraved foliate and line design. The silver is marked. So not going to try straighten, and I would not suggest anyone trying, because it might break and besides it is so beautiful that you cant see it unless you pick it up and look it over. Some dust on the inside of the glass bottles. I will leave that for the new owners to clean. Because of age I don't want to mess it up. But I beleive it can be washed. These lovely pieces are fully hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver. The anchor for the city of Birmingham, and the letter E for 1853. It was made by the Adie Brothers Limited. Some of the older of them do have some rich darker patina but no oxidation. There are a few of the pieces that have a makers mark on the bottom but unable to attribute them. I will break down each of the pieces for you. 1.Tray-measures 17 inches long x 11 inches wide. It has beautiful roses on each of the handles and velvet lining on the back. The mirror has no cloudiness and no flaws. Quite beautiful and heavy! 2.Ormolu Perfume-measures 7.5 inches tall x 4 inches wide. Still has some old perfume ... moreinside. The dauber is intact! Yes-the glass dauber is still intact. The stopper screws into the bottle and has quite ornate filigree to it. The base has even more intricate filigree work with a lovely flower in the middle while the back has no flower. Unmarked. 3.Trinket box/jewelry box-measures 3.5 inches tall x 6 inches long. Has a glass cover on the top and velvet lining inside and on the bottom. Has 3 tiny stains on the velvet by the leg on the underside. The filigree work is also done beautiful and makes the box quite intriguing. Unmarked. 4.Powder box is from the 1940's era and has a bakelite knob on the top-measures 5.5 inches tall x 4 inches wide. Is a music box and is in great working condition! Again this piece is quite heavy. No filigree on it but the metal is gold toned and is in basket weave type design. It is adorable! 5.Lipstick holder#1 measures 2.25 inches tall x 5 inches long. Holds 6 regular sized lipsticks and 2 small or for Q-Tips. Has 4 cherubs holding it up with filigree work all around and on top. Nice weight to it and some age. Unmarked. 6& 7.Matched pair of lipstick holders-3.5 inches tall x 4 inches across the base. Antique PERFUME BOTTLE Vanity Set CHAMPLEVE COMPACT Brass & Ceramic FRENCH MADE
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for sale is a rare and gorgeous French Vanity Set with Perfume Bottles and Mirrored Compact. The set is nestled in a brass holder that fits onto a large ceramic jardinière type pot. You can remove the brass tray from the pot but I think it was probably attached at one time. Lovely colors of blue and yellow are the most pronounced but the designs surrounding the pot are multi-colored. On the bottom it is marked"Made in France" and very lightly. Under the white glaze. Is the number"1667" I tried hard to capture this in the photos for you. I am not sure what the number means. The brass tray is in very good condition, no damage but could use a bit more cleaning. There are two different major designs. On the larger sides(the front& back) ... moreis the picture of bird in a tree surrounded by flowers. On each end is the painting of a single flower. The glaze& paintings are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs noted to any of the glass. The stoppers of the faceted bottles are in excellent condition with only a couple tiny nibbles to the ends. The bottle without the stopper has a screw top golden lid. The center button on the lid pushes down but I can't figure out how to get the"plunger" to pop up. I am not so familiar with this type of bottle. The internal brass syphon tube was broken off so I have placed a plastic tube onto what was left so it reaches down to the bottom of the bottle. You will see this in the photos. The small brass compact has a floral champlevé design on the lid in orange, burgundy& navy. The internal glass mirror is intact with no cracks. This is a very heavy item and will cost a little more than usual to ship. With the bottles inside the brass tray the entire piece measures 8 1/4 inches tall from the table up to the top of the stoppers. Up for your consideration today is a Vintage Very Rare Huge GIM Cast Iron Mid Century Moder Gold Guilt Vanity Set. This is a beautiful set that a 83 year old Italian Women bought 50 years ago when she first got married. The perfume bottles are marked GIM and this would be around the period that GIM made the lamps. The 1960's. None of the other pieces are marked GIM but I believe her when she said that she bought it as a set because they all match in some wa y. In this set you get 2 Perfume bottles. Picture Frame, Powder Container, and Huge Beveled Mirror Tray. The Perfume dauber is missing on one of the perfume bottles and the glass vile is broke in the same perfume bottle. I left everything as it was sold to me. You might be able to go to a good glass shop and have the vile and dauber made. The beveled mirror has some scratches on it ... moreand the one metal corner is loose and the grouting on one end needs to be redone. The mirrored bevel glass tray measures about 24 1/2 inches long and is 15 inches wide. The frame is 8 x 10. The powder container is lined with frosted glass to put the powder in. This set came from an Estate Sale and the Women was moving in with her family so she was downing sizing her things. What a beautiful find this is to pass on to someone else who will have it for the next 50 years as she did. I only ship the United States and accept Paypal. Vintage Art Deco French Hand Panel Cut Vanity Bottle Set of 4 Chromed Metal Lids
Gorgeous hand cut panel crystal vanity set. These are unsigned pieces with absolutely stunning panel cuts from France. Chrome plated lids with spun brass base metal. Mold blown and hand cut jars. The grooves for the short cream jar and tall perfume are also hand cut. No chips or chiggers but does a flea bite or two-I did not find any damage without using a magnifying glass-Super clean glass looks unused or very well kept. The short jar measures 2 1/2 across and 1 5/8 height with lid. The tall perfume measures 1 3/8 across and a little over 6 1/2 height. The chrome lids do have some rubbed areas and the entire set needs to be washed. The middle tall jar lid does not sit all the way down on the neck collar and could be due to the fact that the cork in the lids are either gone or needs to be replaced. A beautiful antique vanity set made by Val St. Lambert of Belgium. Six pieces- 3 different sizes of perfumes and 3 different sizes of covered jars. The perfumes are: 4 1/2" 5 3/4" and 6 1/4" The jars are: 3 1/2" 4 3/4" and the round one is 3" in diameter x 1 3/4" tall. The jars all have a rayed base, as shown. They are molded glass with a diamond shaped pattern between the blue panels and the clear panels below. They are in very, very good condition, especially considering their age. The large perfume has 2 matching lines on the neck of the bottle. As a glass collector and antiques dealer, there is no question in my mind that these were done during the manufacture of the bottle; they are not cracks and do not go through to the other side. A cylindrical powder jar, and rectangular dresser or jewelry box. The Art Nouveau style pattern, often referred to as'Fleurs' features stylized flowers with swirling leaves. Similar pieces in this pattern are found in the St. Louis 1908 catalog of various crystal table items. Here the flowers are embellished in a gorgeous orange color, vivid and contrasting beautifully against the clear crystal. Both the powder jar and dresser box are stamped St. Louis. The bases patterned with swirling vines tipped by heart shaped leaves in contrasting clear and orange. A charming scalloped edge adorns the dresser box. Early 19th Century French Ormolu and Glass Vanity Bottle Set
This beautiful vanity set circa 1820(est) is in wonderful condition and loaded with character! The ormolu contains harps. Horses, and Greek or roman figures as well as roping, carvings and leaves. Gorgeous! I have seen a four bottle set in similar condition sell for nearly $2100 at auction. The set when put together in the holder stands 5 1/2 inches tall and nearly 4 inches across. Some have minor denting and age appropriate scuffing. The tallest bottle measures 6 3/8 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It has light surface scuffing. But no chips or damage otherwise. The perfume bottle has a domed lid with original stopper. The lid screws into bottle and measures 4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It also has light wear and no chipping or damage. Still has perfume smell. The round jar measures 1 3/4 inches tall and 2 inches in diamter. The lid has some discoloring of the silver. But otherwise very good.
