Unusual Large art glass perfume bottle Blue / Aqua Swirls 6 1/2 inches tall
Unusual Large and Heavy Art Glass perfume bottle. Swirled with shades of blue and aqua in crystal clear class; although unmarked it brings to mind Glass Eye Studio or Murano work I've seen in the past. Roughly 6 and a half inches high and 3 1/2 inches across.The glass stopper is made in the shape of a disk with rods of colored glass arranged in a double ring when viewed straight on. The neck of the bottle is fitted with a rubber seal which holds the stopper securely in place. The piece does have some tiny bubbles in the glass. And upon careful search, the only damage I find is a small nick at the edge of the stopper( see last photo) I does not detract from the beauty of the piece.you have to be searching for"issues" to find it. For your consideration. This unique hand-made studio art glass perfume bottle. This is glass with a ridged silver metal overlay on the bottle and the stopper. This is 3.75" tall and 2.25" wide. There is a small hallmark-like stamp in a small bump in the metal, two letters, S& L in squares and three indiscernible marks below them. You can see the bump in the pics, but it too hard to read the mark. This might be sterling silver, but I can't guarantee it. Up for bid is this blown glass bottle with multi-colored swirls of glass. There are shade of green. Blue, purple, and cranberry. It is about 4 inches in height. It is quite heavy for its size. Weighing just over 1 pound. The opening is small—about ¼ inch. It is a perfume bottle. But the stopper is missing. There is some etching on the bottom which looks like the MAD98. This etching was obviously hand done also. There are no chips. Cracks, breaks, or repairs on it. Also. I do not see any scratches. Selling a pretty little perfume bottle about 4" tall from bottom to top of screw on. About 2 1/2" wide at widest part of glass. The shape is a stretched hexagon, the narrow part of the glass being about 1 1/2" There is no mark but the bottle is of nice quality, the previous owner traveled and the family believes it is something brought back from one of her European trips. On offer is this exquisite. Large, heart-shaped Studio art glass perfume bottle. It is signed on the side. At the bottom edge(see pic.3) For size, please see comparison with a regular size Coke can. The bottle stands about 6" tall when measured from the base, to the top of the stopper. The bottle weighs just over 2 lbs. It is EMPTY OF CONTENTS. There is a date of'99 on it.
