Offered in this auction is a ANTIQUE GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE w/ ENGLISH STERLING SILVER GUILLOCHE ENAMELED CAP. It measures approximately 2-1/2" tall by 1-1/4" wide. The sterling silver cap is hallmarked with an"i" a"lion" and a"face. Also hallmarked HWL and D. most likely the cap was made by Henry Williamson of Birmingham/ Chester in the late 1800's or early 1900's. The glass itself is in good condition with no breaks ... moreand no cracks. If you loop it. There are some very minor flea bites. The glass dauber is stuck. so I did not try to force it off. Perhaps you collectors can get it off with a good soaking. There are some minor flea bites on the glass dauber. The sterling silver cap has some minor dents from years of use, but nothing that detracts from the overall beauty and allure of this piece. The enameling guilloche is in good shape with no breaks and no cracks.
