Offering 3 exquisite Sterling and cut crystal perfume bottles. All english, but from different makers. Smallest one is just under 5 inches in height. And 3.5 inches in diameter. It is made by Colen Cheshire of Birmingham. The next size is 5.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter. Made by William Neale of Chester England. The largest is 6 inches in height. And 4.5 inches in diameter, made by Synyer& Beddoes of London. All 3 retain their original stoppers. All are well hallmarked. The largest the marks are almost illegible only the maker can be made out. The medium bottle has minor creasing to the silver. All 3 bottles are without monograms. All 3 under magnification show bruising to the high spots, which is typical and expected on cut glass. We are offering all 3 for one price with free domestic shipping. Thanks for looking

Up for auction today is this gorgeous cut glass chatelaine perfume scent bottle.These practical types of pieces were made in the 1880's to attach to a necklace or pin this piece has a ring below the hinged top.The total measurement of this piece is 3"1/2 inches long it is signed at the base of the neck it reads STERLING MOUNT.The sterling silver repousse top is in decent condition it does open and close properly the only flaw is a dent on the cap it does seem like that could be easily bumped out.The glass is in excellent condition it is done in a complicated zipper and a diamond type cut.I will be listing many antique perfume scent bottles from a large private collection this week so please keeping checking back!Payment to be made within 3 days of auction close.Thank You!

This is a very nice. Very beautiful Antique Cut Crystal Glass, Hallmarked Silver, Hinged upper Top, personal Perfume Bottle with Original stopper. The upper Hinged Top has excellent Floral detailed Repousse work. On the Top are beautiful Scrolling Initials, it looks like M K J C, very nicely done, it almost looks like a design. The top is Hallmarked CM, ANCHOR, L, then a LION, so this is at the least, Sterling Silver. The upper is thick and heavy with a strong hinge. The Cut Diamond pattern of the lower Glass gives this Perfume Bottle a good grip. The glass is a super quality seen on the ground bottom. The Tight Fitting original Stopper is below the Silver Lid. This is a super piece, in great shape. A very interesting and beautiful early Antique Hallmarked Silver top Perfume Bottle. It is hallmarked WMJ& CO. Anchor in shield indicating assayed in Chester, England, the lion passant for sterling and the date letter script'g' for 1906 on the lower edge of the silver lid. The lovely repousse lid depicts twining vines and flowers and if you look closely, you will see a little bird and strangely enough, a man with a mustache. The hand cut glass globe jar is original to the lid and in in very good condition with a very few scattered tiny fleabites on the cut diamond shapes. There are no makers marks or sterling mark. I did test it with my home kit and the result was Sterling Silver.925 or better. The screw on lid had a few tiny dents. The hinged lid has several dents but the hinge is in perfect condition and the snaps shut tightly. The side with the hinged lid also has it's original stopper. A couple nibbles to the stopper but very rare to find it still with the bottle. The lids on these are not identical but the designs are made to compliment each other and you will see what I mean in the photos. No holes to the sterling lids and the designs are very pretty. Silver Plated Repousse Scent Bottle with Peony & Butterfly - c. 1880

The front of the bottle shows a butterfly pollinating a peony flower and small buds about to blossom. The reverse shows the flower in luxurious full bloom for all to see its wonder and majesty. The bottle appears to be silver plate and perhaps was once part of a chatelaine. The bottle is in great condition for it’s age and shows appropriate use thereof. It measures 4 1/8” x 7/8” at its widest point. The bottle weighs 29.84 grams for sake of reference.
