Found in a local estate is this old perfume and powder jar dresser set. They are in light blue glass and date to the Art Deco period of the 20th century. There is damage to the top of one perfume stopper. No other damage. There are some natural imperfections in the glass made in manufacture, photo#4 shows a line in the glass powder jar side. The perfume measures 6" high with good stopper, the powder jar is 5.75" high. They are not marked. All items I sell are vintage and most are antique. None are perfect. Vint. Fostoria Vaseline Glass Boxtle Perfume Bottle & Powder Jar Chip to Stopper
Here is a stunning combination perfume bottle and powder jar(a boxtle) from Fostoria- of vaseline glass. With clear glass dauber stopper. Total height is 7" diameter of jar is 4 1/2" Two old paper labels on base of jar: Naturelle' and'John Wanamaker New York' Condition of vaseline glass is very close to excellent- just a'nick' to edge of jar's inner rim(see photo 3; not visible when lid is on) and a 5/8" scratch to underside of base. Unfortunately, the stopper has 2 chips to its point. Still wonderful!

Group of 3 ~ Vintage Antique.800 European Silver Sterling Grade& Crystal Large Perfume/ Scent Bottles& Powder Jar This is one of more than 60 estate items which we will be listing over the next several days. ~~~~ This vintage lady’s vanity or dresser trio consists of the pieces listed below. Two large perfume/cologne bottles and a big powder jar. These pieces are made of crystal with cut fan designs and ground/polished bases. The silver elements are.800 purity(European standard) and have elaborate guilloche(also called engine-turned) engraving. The monogram shield panels are bare so you can personalize. If you wish. Large Scent Bottle: about 5 1/4” high; 4” in diameter. T he bottle collar and silver cap are not marked. The glass stopper has a ¼” chip under grip(see photo) and a tiny nick on the ground/polished bottom. No chips ... moreor scratches on the crystal. Medium Scent Bottle: still quite sizable at 5” high; 4” in diameter. The bottle collar and silver cap are not marked. The glass stopper has a3/8” angle chip on the bottom p(see photo) There is a ¼” U” shape indent just under the top of the silver cap. IF the crystal cutting appears a bit indistinct. It is the light mist of water on the inside walls from clearing. No chips or scratches on the crystal. Crystal Powder Jar: 4 ½” in diameter. And 2 ¾” high. The lid has a bright silver-plated interior; it is stamped on the outside with the 800 and monogram hallmarks. No chips or scratches on the crystal. We date this set from between 1920- 1950. We believe that it was made in Italy as the owner had many silver dresser and table items from Italy in her home. Any dark marks in the photo are a result of the flash. This one is large about 5" point to point, octagonal and heavy. Ingrid Czech glass is circa 1930's pre-WWII. Blue Powder Jar & Perfume Bottle Bohemia Glass Made In Czechoslavakia LABEL
Up for bid is this perfume bottle and vanity dish/powder jar. This is vintage. Probably art deco period. I collected vanity items, and I am thinning out my collection. Bottle has original label, it is faded but you can read Bohemia and Made in Czechoslovakia. Beautiful Ice blue. The base of the jar, I do not see anything wrong with it, no chips or cracks or fleabites. It is perfect looking to my eye. The lid is near perfect with the exception of one tiny sliver on the inside of the rim. The outside of the rim is perfect to my eye. Its a beautiful dish. The perfume bottle has no chips or cracks, the glass itself is perfect. The atomizer is missing and the tube is inside the bottle. There is also some residue inside the bottle. Both jar and bottle are oval shape. The dish measures 4 1/2 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide. It stands about 3 1/2 ... moreinches tall. The bottle is a tad bit smaller, and stands about the same height. I was a collector, I am not an expert. I used them for display. What I did was put a ball atomizer inside the perfume bottle. Antique / Vintage STERLING SILVER STAMPED Dresser Powder Jar VANITY ACCESSORY
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a cute little dresser jar with sterling silver lid. The lid is very detailed with flowers and turned up edges. There are a few tiny dents to the very top of the lid. When looking at it from the side you may think there are dents to the edges but this is actually where it is"turned up" as part of the design. When you see the photo of the top of the lid you will understand what I mean. The lid is also stamped"sterling" Most of the gold wash on the inside of the lid has been worn away over the years. There are eight cut glass panels to the jar. There is one small shallow chip to the bottom of the jar but you won't see it when sitting on display. The inside rim is pristine with no chips or nibbles. No other chips or cracks to ... morethe glass. The jar is 1 3/8 inches tall and 1 5/8 inch diameter. Beautiful 3 piece antique Czechoslovakia glass perfume/ scent bottles and powder jar set with hand painted enameled roses. They are all acid marked"CZECHOSLOVAKIA" The powder jar measures approx. 4" tall x 4 3/8" in diameter and the 2 scent bottles 5 3/4" tall. This listing features a v intage(probably circa 1930) DeVilbliss perfume bottle with atomi zer and powder jar set in it's original box. Bottle is 4" tall and base is 2" in diameter. The jar is 2" tall including the finial knob. The bottle base and the lidded powder jar base are a(Jadeite color) cased pale green( j ar has a clear lid with finial) There are no chips or cracks on either piece. The atomizer has hardened with age and the sleeve the atomizer fits in has frayed at the ends. There are original price stickers on the bo ttom of the box and the jar. This is a lovely old set! The box has some minor handling wear. N ice old Art Deco bottle& jar set! All items I sell are either vintage or antique. So, there may be some less than perfect condition factor. Lot of 3 Ornate Vintage Perfume Bottles and 1 Powder Box.One has Amber glass with leaves all around it.It measures 9.5" tall.5" wide,and 3" thick.Pic. 4) The next(Pic 5) is 8" tall,4" wide, and 1.5" thick. It has a floral motif with cherubs holding it up.The last bottle( pic.6) measures 9.5" tall, 4.5" wide. and 1" thick. It has a floral and leaf motif with what looks like Mother of pearl inlay behind the metal. I am not sure what material is.It may be Bakelite. The stopper for it is missing the glass dauber and a small area on the metal is tarnished. Pic. 9& 10) You may be able to clean it. I didn't try. Some have minor denting and age appropriate scuffing. The tallest bottle measures 6 3/8 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It has light surface scuffing. But no chips or damage otherwise. The perfume bottle has a domed lid with original stopper. The lid screws into bottle and measures 4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It also has light wear and no chipping or damage. Still has perfume smell. The round jar measures 1 3/4 inches tall and 2 inches in diamter. The lid has some discoloring of the silver. But otherwise very good.
