Beautiful& early Baccarat crystal perfume flacon for the house of Houbigant for the scent"Parfum d'Argeville" This was one of the earliest bottles Baccarat produced for Houbigant, the First being in 1899, the second in 1905 which was a smaller travel version( used by various Baccarat customers) of what in 1913 became the presentation bottle for Parfum d'Argeville, it was not one of their most successful lines& therefore they are hard to find. My Mother's most prized treasure was this prior to 1920 bottle of PARFUM DJER KISS KERKOFF PARIS; as per front label. See photos. It has a cork stopper with a brass top and a crown finial. Embossed on top, around crown: Kerkoff Parfum it is heavily clogged with dried perfume residue. The interior of the bottle has a lot of dried perfume in it. The neck label is half missing. The label on the front is in perfect condition, it shows age but no damage. It has no cracks or chips. The bottom is embossed: KERKOFF 90 C.C. PARIS. Because of leakage and drying of the perfume, it needs a lot of TLC. It measures 6" tall x 2" wide x 1" deep. I do not accept returns or give refunds. I ship only within the continental U. Yrby Femme De Paris Parfum bottle with foil labels 1930's
Antique Yrby Perfume Bottle © 1930's era with corked stopper and foil labels. A remaining residue and perfume scent is present. The cork has dried and a smooth flea bite is on the lower rim of the stopper. I would have missed it if not for using a magnifying glass. It measures 6 1/4" tall with the cork. 4.5" without. The bottom is embossed Yrby. the foil label on the rim is mostly legible. It reads Infusion? De Parfum Yrby inc New York distributors. 4 F.L. Oz. 1800s Le Parfum Ideal,Houbigant,Mini SEALED Crystal Parfum Bottle,Baccarat,RARE!
SUPER RARE! Antique c.1800s*LE PARFUM IDEAL* by"Houbigant" Miniature SEALED Crystal Parfum Bottle. Baccarat(Empty due to Evaporation) Information obtained from the Perfume Intelligence website is that"Le Parfum Ideal" parfum by Houbigant was made c.1896. They then state that it was launched prior to that year. Somewhat confusing with their words.Nevertheless this is a very old, sealed, unsigned"Baccarat"made bottle that once held Houbigant's"Le Parfum Ideal" parfum. Baccarat did not begin to acid etch(sign) their perfume bottles,before c.1920. The gold color twine is wrapped tightly around the stopper,and bottle,and still retains the original tiny round, gold colored tin/metal twine-seal,embossed with a fancy letter"H" for"Houbigant" Also attached to the twine is the original ... moregold-foil hang-tag,which reads, HOUBIGANT NEW YORK CAP. 1/2 OZ NET COMPOUNDED IN U.S. All of the parfum has evaporated,except for a tiny bit along the bottom corners/creases of the bottle. The parfum was created by P Parquet,and was the first synthetic fragrance made. The Baccarat bottle is gorgeous! Upright clear glass bottle.With beveled corners,curved shoulders,and short neck. The cuttings on the faceted glass button stopper, are sharp,and precise,obviously very telling of the Baccarat made bottle! Copper color label.In high relief,has a profile picture of a woman's head,neck,and shoulders. The picture depicts the woman's delightful facial expression,while smelling a flower,that she is holding to her nose. The picture is amazingly vivid,for it's very old age! The woman's head is slightly tilted back,her one eye closed,and a satisfied smile across her mouth. Array of flowers drape across her back shoulders,with"HOUBIGANT" embossed. It shows a faceted boule cap on the black bottle. With a metal decrative band. It is with a box in green shagreen design. This was designed for the French parfum Nuit de Noel by Caron. It has the silver band. In very nice condition, with some etch marks on the bottom of the black glass bottle that I cannot make out. It is probably a Baccarat number. The stopper is tight, and I have not tried to remove it. The box show bits of wear, but has kept the bottle in very clean unworn condition. This is the smaller bottle and box.
