SUPERB CRANBERRY GLASS& SILVER TOPPED MARY GREGORY SCENT BOTTLE. THE SILVER TOP HAS FULL ENGLISH HALLMARKS FOR BIRMINGHAM 1888-1889. THE FRONT IS DECORATED WITH A FINELY PAINTED IN WHITE ENAMEL BOY STANDING AMONGST FOLIAGE IN TRADITIONAL STYLE CLOTHING. THE LID OPENS ON A HINGED LID TO REVEAL AN INNER GLASS STOPPER TO HOLD THE SCENT IN PLACE. MARY GREGORY PERFUME BOTTLE WITH STOPPER CLEAR GLASS WHITE ENAMELING c.1860-1880
For your consideration is an antique Mary Gregory clear glass perfume bottle with stopper. The white enamel decoration is absolutely exquisite. The front side displays a Victorian figure standing in front of a fence railing reaching out to some birds. There is also a tall floral motif on the front. On each side there are three birds in flight. The top side of the jar has small designs. Possibly flowers and the neck has three gold painted rings. There is gold around the very top of the bottle as well. The stopper is hand blown and has a pontil mark on the bottom. The perfume stands 4” without the stopper and 4-3/4” with the stopper in. It is tapered from 2-1/4” at the bottom to 1-3/4” at the top. It is 1-1/2” wide. This bottle would have been produced during the period of 1860 to1880. The condition is excellent. I have examined every inch ... moreof the bottle and find no cracks. Chips, nicks, scratches or repairs. The white enameling shows no signs of wear. Scratches, nicks or deterioration. There is some very minor staining on the inside bottom of the bottle and there is some minimal wear to the underside. The gold decoration shows some wear consistent with age. A fellow eBayer has notified me that the stopper in this bottle may not be the original stopper. Antique Mary Gregory Green Glass Perfume Bottle Young Boy w/Flower & Landscape
This Mary Gregory perfume bottle measures 4 3/4" tall by 3" wide. The mold blown green glass bottle measures 2 7/8" tall by 3" wide. The bottle is a fresh estate find that is in good condition. Although dirty, and does not have any chips, cracks, or damage. The atomizer, however, is damaged. It is missing the bulb. It is also dented and misshapen where the bulb fits into the metal top. The white enameling is hand painted. And features a young Victorian boy walking in the landscape, carrying a flower. ANTIQUE Finely Detailed Mary Gregory Perfume Bottle w/ Faceted Stopper
Here is a wonderful antique hand painted Mary Gregory perfume bottle with a prismed cut stopper and polished bottom. It has a lovely painting of a young girl on one side. Done in the typical white but with great detail and layered effect. 2 sides have a flower painted and the fourth side has a dragonfly and some flying birds. Bit of enameling around the top and there is still some of the gold rings on the neck as well as on the very top flat rim or lip of the bottle. It stands 5 3/4 inches with the stopper and 4 1/4 inches without. the bottom base is 2 inches square. There is a slight residue left inside from the perfume it once held(I have not tried to clean it at all! In great condition! You will love it! Buyer pays priority mail.

Antique BLUE GLASS Perfume Bottle Small Decanter & Stopper CZECH MARY GREGORY
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is beautiful Ocean Blue Glass Perfume Bottle& Stopper. It's really too small to be decanter but it has that look. It is the"Mary Gregory" style paintings that make this bottle really special. I really like the nature scenes and the ones with the animals but they are not as easy to find as the people she painted. This blue is electric and looks so fabulous as the background for the ivory and gold paintings. The white enamel painting are very much intact but some of the gold is thin or worn away in a couple small areas. The stopper is in excellent condition with only a small chip to the end that fits into the bottle. The glass at the neck of the bottle has what I can only describe as"wrinkles" in the glass which are part of ... morethe manufacturing. There is one chip to the lip of the opening as shown in the photos. At some time in it's life the chip was touched up with gold paint so it's not very noticeable ~ plus it is facing one of the back corners. There might be a couple pin-prick size fleabite to an edge that I have missed but otherwise it is in excellent condition and ready for display. The bottle is very clean inside and out. With the stopper in place it is 7 1/4 inches tall to the tip of the stopper. The bottle is essential square and and approx. 2 inches by 2 inches. This is a very elegant bottle and beautiful example of the Mary Gregory paintings. Don't forget to bid!
