ANTIQUE ORMOLU GOLD GILT PERFUME BOTTLES AND MATCHING FRAME
A VERY RARE FIND.MAGNIFICENT ORMOLU Perfume Bottles in gilt gold with beveled Amber glass and the matching 8x10 frame. Most likely made by Stylebuilt or Matson this FABULOUS grouping is in BEAUTIFUL condition for it's age. When you peer into the inside of the Gorgeous perfume bottles you can see a beautifully detailed circle of filigree roses. The intricate filigree on the bottles is in EXCELLENT condition but is darker then shown in a few of the photos. The side view is a truer representation of the gilt gold. The frame. Which will hold an 8 x 10 photo, has the original glass and picture backing that is strong and does not collapse when frame is stood. The original black rubber"scratch" protectors are on the bottom of the frame. The frame is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The Amber glass on the perfume bottles and the glass on the ... moreframe is not scratched. There are two or three tiny chips on the edge of the frame glass but they are under the rim of the frame and not visible on the outside. The dauber is still in the lovely heart shaped top but one has detached from the stopper. There is one small flaw on the prongs around the AMBER GLASS on one of the perfume bottles. It is missing a prong(only one) at the bottom of the oval glass frame. Please look at the photos closely. Absolutely beautiful. Whether filled with your favorite perfume and photo or left empty. This is a wonderful addition to your dressing table or display. The bottle is 8 3/4" tall. 5 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" deep. approximate measurements. The frame is 13" tall and 11" wide. 1st and foremost 20 yrs and never seen a 5 piece ormolu set let alone a jeweled set. Has a bird motif and all 5 pieces are perfectly matched and the rare frame measuring 14" high and the casket 6" across and the tray 28" across and the bottles 8" across, now condition- frame the backing was replaced with newer picture stand so it stands up, in transport 1 bird on corner of tray broke off but a tig of sodder and it is right back on and to be true it is'nt even noticable but we do have the piece, the bottles are missing glass stem and we have a clear piece of glass that fits bottom of bottle but needs a shave with sand paper to fit and glue into top easy fix but all in all this is very rare just google and see yourself 5 pieces do not exist often. thanks sharon

24k Gold plated bottles. This is for both. One is for perfume and one is for lotion. Overall in very nice shape. Although when I squeeze the perfume bulb I don't feel any air coming out. The tops that screw on both bottles are plastic. And have some pitting on the gold painting. The bottles are glass and rest inside the gold plated metal. This is an Ormolu brass/gold plated and cut glass decanter bottle. It is 7" tall. The bottle has a sanded stopper. The bottle has a chip out of the corner. See photo. The brass/gold plated holder is in excellent condition. It is very ornate with cornucopias of grape vines and other designs. The four feet are smoothed and turned under. This will be shipped with tape over the corner of the break in the glass. The brass holder is 2.5" square. After some searching. A replacement bottle should be out there in cyber land. This is a magnificent ornate pair of gold gilt filigree perfume caskets with amber beveled glass. They are from the Stylebuilt Accessories Co. NY 1940-1950s Sorry. The mirror is not included in this offering. This is a beautiful ornate set that would be a wonderful accent for your dresser or vanity! The filigree has full bloomed roses as the main design. Around the glass are metal tear drop shapes with roses that create a footing at the base and add that ornate touch. These perfume bottles are in nice vintage condition. This perfume bottle is missing the wand and glass vial/dabber insert. I do not have those pieces. This item weighs.8 pounds and measures 5 and 1/2" tall by 10" around at the fattest section. I am unsure of the exact type of metal that this item is made from. Parts of the metal are turning green. I have not tried cleaning the metal. An absolutely beautiful antique perfume bottle! They don't make them like this anymore- very high quality beveled glass. Ormolu filigree and wonderful attention to detail. All the feet sit level and the glass appears to have a slight rose colored tint. I tried to get pictures of the inside bottom, where there are tiny gold colored roses. Very nice!

Gorgeous amber glass and gold ormolu, art nouveau perfume bottle with dauber
This is a beautiful antique perfume bottle in wonderful condition. With glass dauber still intact. No chips or cracks found, the bottle measures 5" tall and is made from amber colored glass. Metal appears to be a brass done in ormolu or filigree style. Excellent piece!
