I designed this ... morestained glass hanging"purse" in the style of those beautiful Victorian vintage beaded handbags. Designed after one I saw at the last antique show. The glass I cut for the body is a gorgeous magenta and blue iridescent. Notice in the pictures how it can change color to purple and teal as the light hits it at different angles. The"frame" is made with a jet black glass and a little silver"doodad" for the clasp. The upper portion of the bag is cut from iridescent gray which changes to silver and bronze. The 3 flowers are cut from a white iridescent glass, which changes to pink and pale green in the light. I've added a 3" beaded fringe of bronze, blue, purple and clear glass beads. And finished it off with 1/2" antique black jet beaded trim repurposed from a vintage dress. It hangs from a black chain, just like a purse. The glass itself is about 6"x 6" and overall when hanging it's about 12" long. It's done in the Tiffany copper foil method, with and antique copper patina on the solder joints, and finished with wax to a bright polish. Just for clarification, this is not a functional purse. This is a one-of-a-kind hanging gift for collectors of vintage purses. perhaps a birthday or Mothers Day present! The last pictures shows some of my other stained glass purse creations. If anyone has any additional information about tribe/country on this, I'd love to hear what you know. Informational notes on this was very limited. This auction is for an Antique Victorian Perfume Bottle. This piece is Forest Green Glass and has a glass stopper that is shaped like a crown. The bottle is a forest green glass and fits nicely into a small purse that fits the perfume bottle perfectly. It is a pale brown leather and shows normal signs of wear. The bottle is mint the stopper has a couple of tiny chips on the base of the stopper. The top of the stopper has no damage. It is a very small purse size piece. It is trimmed out in gold and the clasp on the purse latches properly. The leather of the purse is soft and supple. It is 4" long. The bottle is 3" tall. It is a Fantastic Old Piece in nice condition. This is a very rare find. It is Czech cut glass featuring 2 distinct patterns: a waffle-type cut and leaf design; a gold colored(somewhat tarnished) top with an amber stone. No attempt has been made to clean the bottle either inside or outside so as not to ruin its antique value. It did once contain perfume. The fragrance of which is still detectible, and the residue in the bottle is evident. The applicator/dauber is intact. Tiny Antique Silver and Glass Purse Perfume Bottle, 1 Inch
This tiny but ornate item stands 1 1/4" high and is about 3/4" wide. It features a tiny black or dark green bottle covered with squares of plain silver and silver flowers. The top screws on and has its original glass applicator and a turquoise-colored stone at the top(not sure if it is real turquoise) This appears to be Mexican or Spanish but I could be mistaken. I believe it is sterling silver because there is very little tarnish even though I have not polished it. One side is more"finished" than the other side. There are no markings that I can find. This belonged to my mother and possibly grandmother. Thus I feel I can safely call it an antique. Please note that the glass applicator is a bit wobbly but seems to be firmly fixed within the little lid.

One side of the bottle is decorated a piece of thin leather with an elegant hand painted gold filigree pattern. Some normal wear, yet this piece is absolutely divine. ANTIQUE LADIES PURSE PERFUME BOTTLE CUT GLASS MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA
This listing is for a rare item my husband found probably 35 or more years ago and brought it home to me. We are downsizing(at least I am) and I am giving this little beauty a chance for a new home. It is made of cut glass which is clear and it has amber lines in between the clear glass. In between the amber are tiny cuts in the glass. The top of the bottle is made of brass and the top unscrews for filling or using the perfume. There is little to no wear on the brass. It is 3 1/8" in length and it is marked on the brass: Czechoslovakia. The name is in two sections with Czecho and underneath slovakia.
