Up for sale is a rare set of 4 Puiforcat Paris France sterling silver perfume bottles. There are 2 larger bottles and 2 smaller bottles. They are in an Art Deco pattern. The caps have a geometric design. The glass has a geometric design on both sides looking like an eye. The caps are very heavy weighing 23 grams each. Hallmarked Puiforcat Paris with French silver hallmarks. They are in great condition. Needs polishing. Caps have a gold vermeil. The glasses have no chips or cracks. Antique French Sterling Silver & Crystal Absinthe Flask By Gaston Bardies C1900
VINTAGE FRENCH TIME WORN TREASURES This is absolutely gorgeous antique French sterling silver and engraved crystal absinthe or Melissa water flask. It was made by Gaston Bardies who was a Paris silversmith in operation from 1897 to 1914. These beautiful flasks were made to carry around and have a small silver beaker that detaches from the bottom of the flask. You could fill this with absinthe or with Melissa water and have a drop on the move! This flask has the same design engraved into the crystal as it has around the outside of the beaker and the silver stopper. Which is a weave of ribbon and olive leaves and berries. The stopper at the top has a little crystal plunger fitted into the lid. Once the top is in place the crystal plunger fills the top of the bottle. This can feel a little loose but it does still fit. The beaker is gilded on ... morethe inside and is delicate and beautiful but it does have very slight undulations. Which I have tried to show in the photographs. The silver lid is a little wavy around the bottom collar which meets the bottle. Both the lid and the beaker are stamped with the Gaston Bardies hallmark and the Minerve hallmark. The bottle is in fabulous condition but does have a little rough area just under the collar of the lid. The measurements in total are 5½” for the complete bottle. The collar and stopper are sterling silver with appropriate markings as pictured. The bottle measures 7 3/4" high overall and about 4 3/4" across. It is in very good estate condition with no damage. Wear or repairs found. There is a small heat check in the glass under the silver collar-not at all an issue but mentioned and pictured for accuracy. A beautiful example for any collection! French Signed DAUM NANCY CAMEO GLASS Perfume Scent Bottle Sterling Silver Top
We are pleased to offer this rare antique original French signed Daum Nancy cameo glass perfume scent bottle travel decanter. It has a hinged. Sterling silver, attached top and the original acid etched crystal stopper. This is an estate fresh piece and we have not attempted to clean or polish it. It features a river valley scene with conifers. Perhaps an early spring scene. It also has beautiful Lily of the Valley flowers on the sides of the bottle. There is a dripping icicle design all along the top. Rim of the bottle and this is repeated along the top of the original stopper. Further emphasizing the early spring motif. There are 2 small French hallmarks on the sides of the sterling silver top; I can make out one which is a helmeted head in profile. The top has a vermeil gold wash on the inside. On the top of the closure is a young maiden ... moreand a floral design. The bottom of the bottle is signed in gold enamel Daum Nancy( France) along with the Cross of Lorraine. There is a small amount of loss to the decorative gold gild on the bottle and the stopper. There are no cracks or other major damage. The silver top is tight on the bottle. The closure stays closed nicely. The stopper fits well and is not loose. The stopper has some small flakes along the edge as shown in the photo. The inner top edge of the bottle has some roughness. Please note the ruler in some photos for your size reference. The bottle is approximately 3 3/4 inches tall. Hello up for auction is this beautiful Sterling Silver and French cut crystal 19th Century Perfume bottle. Measures approx. 3.5 inches high The glass is french cut. With sterling silver top and bottom. The sterling silver parts are detachable and are both marked Sterling 107 There is a makers mark on the bottom that looks like it is a W or AV hard to make out. The bottle is currently empty and clean. Very unique piece. I have done some research on it and have found it on one other site. 1920-30s Cut Glass Perfume w Enamel Guilloche Sterling Silver Top GH French & Co
Fresh from an upstate New York estate! This offering is for a cut glass/ crystal perfume bottle with enamel guilloche sterling silver top by G.H. French& Co. of N. Attleboro. Massachusetts, between 1920-1939 as this is the only period this company was in business. The bottle is wheel cut with pretty floral designs with a star cut on the underside. The glass is nice and clear without any damage. The stopper/ dipper is intact and is 3 1/2" in total length. The cap is a lovely pale pink enamel guilloche featuring a flower and leaf design. Guilloché. Phonetically pronounced gee-oh-SHAY, is from the French word meaning"engine turning" It simply means"engine turning patterns" and refers to an ornamental pattern. The silver wraps around to frame the enamel and has an embossed leaf border.
