The top and bottom of the eyepieces and the turn lever are made from antique bone ( bovine pre 1890). In the photos you can see that in a number of places as if typical of antique bone there is some light cracking - commensurate with age. These lovely od binoculars were very prized for their beauty and their magnification ability. Very few have survived and they are a very rare item. WELCOME FRIENDS! Beautiful floral. Fruit, and gold hand blown glass French perfume bottle from the 1850s. The blue flowers on the face and rear of the bottle are hand painted with raised beading to give the piece a real textured appearance. The gold trim still has a lovely glimmer considering it was painted over 150 years ago! I did notice what look like a chip on the bottom corner, but when I took my loop out and look at it, the gold paint covers the chip. I would consider this a manufactures defect. There are several small chips in this bottom area. But two of them are also covered with gold paint. There is one small chip around this bottom area. Please look at the photos and notate. Today for your consideration is a very sweet little hanging antique scent or perfume bottle finger ring. Brass flip top& chain& ring. Great patina on brass that only time& age can give to brass. Brass top has a embossed flower& designs around it& I think a small dent in the center of the flower. Hard to tell if that is probably part of the shape& design or a actual tiny dent? I show ... moreclose ups so you can see. I can find no makers marks or signature. Stopper is missing but brass cap fits perfect& snaps down. Hand painted romantic enameled flowers or floral with white& pink teeny tiny mini flowers& mint green blue dots. The back was just some white stems but most of that is worn off. The bottle is a rich royal cobalt BLUE. Just amazing color glass! The glass is solid blue not painted on or dipped in blue. The bottle& lid are approx. 2& 1/2" without the chain. I was told by the seller I bought it from many years ago. This was made in France& called a"finger ring scent bottle" I was told ladies would wear these on there finger as they danced at a ball around the turn of the century& earlier. Very detailed brass metal. These look amazing hanging on a wall or a shadow box or even laying down on a night stand for that romantic Victorian chic look in a bedroom. Antique French Enamel Porcelain Portrait Bird Butterfly Pink Perfume Bottle
O XFORD J EWEL Up For Bid | Antique French Enamel Porcelain Perfume Bottle_ Length 7" Width 3 1/4" at its widest point Mark No mark Cap Works securely and looks original to the piece Weight 1 lb 2.9 oz Material Porcelain_ This piece is unique for its full size. Colorful design and charming detail. The bottle has an octagonal shape with vivid pink and green striping with gold detail. The green striped sections have portraits of either a bird or a butterfly on them. The cap is an orange color and there does appear to be a glued repair to the base of the cap at the top of the stopper but the repair appears to be secure and is noticeable only upon close inspection of the cap. There are no other chips to the porcelain at all. There is quite a bit of wear to the gold painted details along the edges of the octagonal shape(not on the panels ... moreat all) and I think that originally there would not have been any of the white showing. The portraits of the birds and the butterflies are completely intact and very detailed and vivid with each design being just slightly different. The cap of the bottle looks like it had striping going up from the bottom of the cap to the top but this is almost all worn away. Overall this is a finely designed and well made, porcelain and enamel perfume bottle, that was made in France during the early 1900's and is in very good condition. Antique French Opaline Bristol Glass Enamel Perfume Bottle Decanters & Open Dish
This mid to late 19th century 3 piece vanity dresser set is either French Opaline or English Bristol Glass. The matching pair of perfume bottle decanters are elegantly topped with branch like stoppers. Both the stoppers and the bottoms are numbered. The accompanying open dish(also numbered) is hand painted with enamel flowers in the same motif as the perfume decanters. All have smooth pontil. The colors are in soft. Muted tones with gold accents. The perfume bottles measure 9 inches high with the open dish measuring 3 inches high and 2 3/4 inches in diameter. There are some condition issues to be noted. One of the branches on one bottle is broken as pictured and the other stopper has a slight break on one of the branches which is hardly noticeable. I don't think this detracts from the overall beauty of the decanters at all. But you can ... morejudge for yourself from the pictures. The gold rim is rubbed on the top of one of the decanters. There also seems to be some enamel loss on the rim around one of them. This is also pictured. There is some gilt rub on the open dish, as well. Antique French Perfume Bottle with Glass Insert, Blue Jewels, Enamel
Antique perfume bottle with blue and white enamel decoration and embedded with pretty blue crystals. The sides of the bottle have a lovely engraved floral pattern. There is a loop on the back. Presumably for attaching to a chatelaine? The bottle appears to be brass but I'm not really sure. The glass insert with dropper is fully intact and comes out of the bottle. The little stopper seems firmly fixed in the glass cylinder- I have not tried to remove the stopper because I did not want to risk breaking the glass insert. Length is about 2.25 inches from the base to the top of the lid. Just over 1.5 inches across at the widest point. Stamped"Made in France" on the back. Free shipping within the USA.

Fresh from an upstate New York estate! This offering is for a cut glass/ crystal perfume bottle with enamel guilloche sterling silver top by G.H. French& Co. of N. Attleboro. Massachusetts, between 1920-1939 as this is the only period this company was in business. The bottle is wheel cut with pretty floral designs with a star cut on the underside. The glass is nice and clear without any damage. The stopper/ dipper is intact and is 3 1/2" in total length. The cap is a lovely pale pink enamel guilloche featuring a flower and leaf design. Guilloché. Phonetically pronounced gee-oh-SHAY, is from the French word meaning"engine turning" It simply means"engine turning patterns" and refers to an ornamental pattern. The silver wraps around to frame the enamel and has an embossed leaf border.
