Vintage Mexico Sterling Silver Brooch- pin-back with eight small carved Green Jade stones. Stamped on the back is"Sterling Mexico" This may be from the famous town of Taxco, known worldwide for its Mexican Silver industry. It is certainly older, and has been well worn. Size is 2" diameter. The center feature looks like a larger pearl. But is instead the polished form of the sterling silver in a half-spherical shape. This is surrounded by eight semi-transparent green stones, which may be jadeite or nephrite, and have been individually carved to their rounded shapes. The main edge component of this stunning pin is created by the outer ring of eight connected fleurs-de-lis. The formations are not solid silver. And the weight is approx 12gm[0.42 oz. av. Vintage Amethyst Gold Gild Bowl with Fleurs de Lis and Maltese Cross Motif This bowl is absolutely stunning. It comes with a beautiful dark purple box. The inside of the box where the bowl rests is covered in beautiful purple satin. The outside of the box says“the Royal House shop” in gold letters. And there are no other markings on the bowl or box. The bowl is so very pretty and I’ll do my best to describe it. It is a light colored graduated shade of amethyst color(darker at the bottom of the bowl and gets lighter toward the top) with gorgeous gold gild around the top rim and a row at the top of fleurs-de-lis, Maltese cross, and then a rectangle with rubies and emeralds inside the rectangle that repeats itself around the top–just stunning. The bowl is in great vintage condition. There are a couple of manufacture minute flea spec dot bubbles, ... moreand very slight tiny minute flea spec graze on the top inside edge and bottom edge of the bowl which you really have to hunt to find, and very gentle wear to the gold gild on the top rim. Otherwise, this bowl and the box itself are just gorgeous. I have no idea about the origin of this little beauty– it was purchased at an estate sale. I do know I’ve tried to find information about it on the web without success. This stunning bowl complete with lovely box for safekeeping would make an excellent gift or a great addition for display in a curio.
