1916 Perfume bottle made by Aspry& Co. LTD For your consideration is a lovely antique perfume bottle made by Aspry& Co. LTD, London in 1916. The 1916 date is the one on the label(still attached) when the bottle was purchased many years ago in London. The label also says Silver and there is an assay mark for silver on the top. Although the top is more of a gold or brass color than what I am used to seeing in silver. The glass bottle(empty but still has a faint perfume aroma) has 10 sides and is also faceted around the neck of the bottle. The bottle is in excellent condition. The top is engraved with various leaf designs around the initials DK or KD. On the neck of the bottle are several marks. The first mark is A& Cộ LTD which is the mark for Aspry and Co. LTD. Aspry was established in 1781. The crystal(clear) bottle is square and marked on the base. The stopper has the dauber intact, a diamond pattern on the top lip, and the stopper is open at the top and can be used as a small bud vase as well. The stopper fits perfectly and it is quite pretty. Size: 2"d X 4 5/8"h- approx. dimensions Quantity: 1- Perfume Bottle& Stopper Condition: VERY GOOD- it has been well cared for over the use but gently used. 3 3/4" tall x 2 1/16" wide across top x 1 29/64" at shoulders of stopper. 1 1/4" at base of stopper. My husband gave me this neat measurer that gives exact sizes to measure the width of these stoppers. This is old and does have some minor scratches or fleabites. Most around the shoulder of the stopper. Tiny fleabite chip on the tip of the stopper that is hard to notice. Two more sizable chips on the bottom of the stopper. A fine quality late 19 th/early 20 th century extra large Bohemian faceted green glass dressing table scent bottle and stopper. Decoratively overlaid with silver floral scrolls and panels. It measures approximately 6 inches(15 cm) tall and 4.5 inches(11.5 cm) diameter at it’s widest point. There is a slight wobble to the stopper which is obviously original otherwise in good condition with no chips or cracks. Vintage pair of heavy crystal glass vanity perfume bottles Circa 1930s or'40s Both bottles have ground glass stoppers. The larger bottle has sharper edges. More like cut glass, but I'm not certain if it is. The other is pressed glass. Both are heavy, good quality vintage glass. Larger bottle measures 4-1/4" tall to top of stopper and appears to be in excellent condition. Smaller bottle measures 3-1/2" to top of stopper and has a repaired crack that can be seen from one side. Glass on both is clear and uncloudy. The estate these came from dated them to the 1930s or'40s. Very pretty addition to a mirrored dresser-top vanity tray. Or as displays in a powder room or bathroom.
