Stunning Antique English Cut Crystal & Sterling Silver Perfume Bottle / Flask
A wonderfully tactile scent flask. With it's deeply cut crystal in a series of star cuts within a diamond shaped lozenge. The glass is a beautiful Emerald green fading to clear at the bottom of the flask. The screw-top lid is decorated with repousse work crowned with a circular cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if you wished to personalize. The interior is cork filled to avoid evaporation of the precious contents. The silver is of course hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, Victorian in era. The makers initials CM are present for the silversmith, Charles May. Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/4" x 3" x 1" at widest. It is a large rounded cut crystal bottle with a sterling silver hinged top and a glass stopper. The cut is beautiful and there is a 12 point star on the bottom. Please be sure to enlarge each picture for a better view as I don't think that I will be able to do this piece justice with my description. I tried to research the hallmark and will share what I found with you. If I'm wrong. You are more than welcome to return the bottle for a full refund as long as it is in the exact same condition as when I send it to you. The metal top is a raised floral pattern and has no dents. I did my best to clean it but am sure that the buyer will be able to do a much better job. ... moreAs for the hallmark, I am positive that there is a lion facing the left, a shield and another symbol on the end but I can't make it out. The shield looks like it has 3 identical shapes inside it and the rectangle next to the shield also has a shape inside. There is another mark before the lion and I think that is the maker's mark.possibly J.T. or J.J. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I even used a magnifier. I'm pretty sure that the ground glass stopper is the original one and it is in excellent condition and fits beautifully. The hinged top and collar have no dents. Cracks or repairs and the hinge works perfectly. It clicks when you close it. This lovely bottle measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 11" in circumference. When held to the light, I noticed a couple of small spots on the bottom and one on a clear panel but think that they are manufacturer flaws.they do not have a rough feel at all but I did want to mention it. Handsome Antique English Fine Cut Glass Scent or Perfume Flask c.1880
A wonderfully tactile large perfume flask. The type that would have been used for an Eau de Toilette or Eau de Cologne, rather than the more concentrated perfume. The large flask is a joy to hold with its crisp hand cut surface with smooth lozenge in the centre of the front. The collar and screw top are lavishly gilded and once removed reveals a glass stopper in the top. Excellent condition dating to the Victorian era, around 1880 and measuring 5 1/2" tall. Offering 3 exquisite Sterling and cut crystal perfume bottles. All english, but from different makers. Smallest one is just under 5 inches in height. And 3.5 inches in diameter. It is made by Colen Cheshire of Birmingham. The next size is 5.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter. Made by William Neale of Chester England. The largest is 6 inches in height. And 4.5 inches in diameter, made by Synyer& Beddoes of London. All 3 retain their original stoppers. All are well hallmarked. The largest the marks are almost illegible only the maker can be made out. The medium bottle has minor creasing to the silver. All 3 bottles are without monograms. This diminutive bottle stands 2 7/8” tall on a 7/8” diameter base. As shown. The hinged lid is incredible with floral, fern and foliate decoration as well as inset stones which I believe are turquoise. It is hallmarked for 1896 Birmingham, England and the maker's mark, while indistinct is probably that of George Edwin Walton. The clear glass tube is deeply cut with a star and cross-hatch design. Perfume scent bottle has four crosshatched pinwheel floral circles with a thumbprint center. The floral pinwheels are surrounded by cut eight and four point stars with the bottom having a cut starburst. The perfume bottle and stopper have no cracks. Glass has some surface use wear marks. There are small pinpoint dings to the edges of some of the cut crystal ridges. One of the central circles of the pinwheel flowers has a less than 1/8" chip on the circle's edge. Sterling silver and enamel perfume or cologne bottle. This piece dates to 1800. The lid features beautiful pink guilloche enamel, translucent with the fine machine turned designs visible underneath. The lid and collar of the bottle are sterling silver. The bottle itself is glass, decorated with vertical cuts and a band of foliate designs. The lid flips up to reveal a little glass stopper, to apply the cologne or perfume. The bottle is in great condition. The enamel has a very minor flake to one edge. Visible at about the 6 o'clock position in the fourth photo. The stopper is in great shape and fits well. The glass has no chips, no cracks, no breaks, ... moreand no repairs. This piece is hallmarked on the side of the collar with the lion passant for sterling silver. The anchor for the city of Birmingham, the date letter C for 1800, and a maker's mark which is unfortunately partially worn. The lid is also stamped with the lion passant and date letter. for your consideration is this lovely antique victorian perfume. Scent bottle. it is made of cut glass with a sterling silver repousse lid. i don't know the pattern of the glass except for the top part which is like a zipper. the only flaw i see is a very small chip on the outside cut glass part of the bottle. also, a very small dent in the lid. the lid is marked sterling with another mark that i do not know the origin. it could possibly be english. measurement of the bottle is 5 1/2 inches to the top of the lid. thanks for viewing.

This ornate perfume bottle is crystal cut in the Edwardian/ Victorian style. The stopper is made of sterling silver and depicts the authenticity/ stamp/hallmark on its side. English perfume bottle with sterling silver top and hand cut crystal glass base. 4" tall and 2" max tapering up diameter. Chased silver top has flowers. Leaves and vine design. Small evidence of wear and use and not recently polished, Stopper is missing, otherwise is in very good condition. English Assay Hall marks are: C.M. in rectangle: Maker name not found) Anchor for Birmingham, Date letter: p' in lozenge shape for date(1864) and Lion passant- rampant for English sterling silver mark. Silver weight not determinable. The crystal glass base is hand cut all over with small octagonal'hobnails' and star forms. Under the base is a hand cut star burst. NB: Small chip on edge of base. NB: Old perfume aroma can still be detected.

Antique Faceted Cut Glass Crystal Scent Bottle with Stopper I am guessing this was produced in the early 1900's Bottle measures appx. 4.25" high with stopper in place. Neck of bottle is faceted with 12 sides. Bottom of stopper and bottle are finely polished. CONDITION: Both bottle and stopper are in good vintage condition and are without cracks. Repairs, or cloudiness. There is a small shallow chip on body of bottle and a few very tiny dings.
