BEAUTIFUL GORHAM FINE SILVER OVERLAY ON EMERALD GREEN GLASS BOTTLE
This gorgeous Gorham emerald green bottle is overlaid with fine silver(999/1000) It stands 4-5/8 inches high and is 3-3/4 inches wide at it's widest. There are several nicks in the rim from the stopper not being centered when it was pushed into the bottle. They do NOT detract from the appearance of the bottle. There are 3 initials on the neck of the bottle below the rim. They are highly stylized but the lines are very thin so the letters are not too apparent. I can make out the first two as"KH" but the last letter could be anything. I have included a closeup photo of the Gorham silver hallmark so you can be certain this is a Gorham bottle. The hallmark puts the age of the bottle between 1875 and 1900. Shipping is free and all items are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. Lot 3 - Antique Sterling Overlay Perfume scent Bottle's Emerald green
This is a lot of three Larger one is a Laugharne Green Glass Scent Bottle with Silver Overlay it is signed and numbered and in perfect condition. This one is NOT an antique, it measures 6 and 1/2 inches high with the stopper and 1 and 3/4 inches wide. The two smaller ones are antiques and both have issues. There is denting on the tops of both ane one has the original stopper and the second is a cork. In addition both have cracking and chipping on the ribbing of the tops of the bottles. The silver on the bottles is in very good condition and is stamped. One bottle has a crown on the bottom and the second one is stamped 312. They measure just 2 and 1/2 inches tall and one inch wide. This is an as is lot.

Vintage Glass Bottle. I am guessing it was either used for a perfume or somekind of potion. The bottle has this strange color of Emerald Green. When the light hits it, as in the picture above its of a dark green, deep aqua green colored. This is one of a kind. First one I have owned with a color like this- not common. It was donated to our local Habitat for Humanity. There are 10 shaped facets in the glass and it is a beautiful emerald green. It is in excellent condition with no fractures that I can see. The bottle necks are also intact with no chips. Both ends are antique silver. The tops on both the flip end and screw end fit securely and have no dents or other damage. Many perfume companies put these out in small decorated green jars and are quite collectible today. Some of them like Colgate, Crown Perfumery, Harmony of Boston, are fairly common as these jars seemed to get tucked away in closets, drawers, wardrobes, etc. so they've survived the rigors of time. There is no chips or cracks, all of the flower pedals are well in tact, and the squeeze puff is round and has not lost shape. Has a thick and heavy decorative glass base and the metal part is made of brass. The flowers are made of a delicate plastic like material with large rhinestones in the center of each flower. The floral enamels have only slight wear ~ they are in very good condition for their age. Which would be c. early 1900's. Each lobe has is alternating with either white flowers or orange flowers. There is some thinning to the gold accents. The silver tone metal hardware is in excellent condition with no dents and perhaps a couple light scratches which you won't even notice. The internal metal syphon tube is intact. The ivory bulb is new and when squeezed I do feel puffs of air come out. Condition: There is very little gold loss. the bottom end of the glass siphon has broken off. The atomizer looks like it may be brass. The glass is in excellent condition with no damage. Up for auction is an immaculate Rich and Dark Emerald Green 1920's Perfume/ Bud Vase. Most likely however.This item's original purpose was possibly an ink well or an early pharmacist's bottle. With it's tooled finish, exposed and identifiable mold seams at the base up to the neck, as well as the air venting holes on the base; this piece exemplifies a good deal of early American glass making techniques. This is a wonderful example of American craftsmanship and it's longevity. This sturdy vase is amazingly damage free in excellent condition. This elegant Czech or Czech-style pressed glass perfume bottle features a beautiful stopper that's an amazing shade of emerald green. This piece has a nice weight.
