French cameo glass center bowl. C. 1910. The piece is of unusual quality, although unsigned. It is large, measuring 10.25" in diameter and about 3.25" tall. It features an intricate emerald green grape vine design, with a green cameo border. There is a hand-painted gilt design atop the cameo glass. It is in excellent condition, with the exception of a small flake to the exterior of the bowl, just underneath the rim. It is small, and difficult to detect(see last photos) Also, there is minor wear to the interior, but nothing overt or distracting, and wear to the gilt on the rim. BEAUTIFUL GORHAM FINE SILVER OVERLAY ON EMERALD GREEN GLASS BOTTLE
This gorgeous Gorham emerald green bottle is overlaid with fine silver(999/1000) It stands 4-5/8 inches high and is 3-3/4 inches wide at it's widest. There are several nicks in the rim from the stopper not being centered when it was pushed into the bottle. They do NOT detract from the appearance of the bottle. There are 3 initials on the neck of the bottle below the rim. They are highly stylized but the lines are very thin so the letters are not too apparent. I can make out the first two as"KH" but the last letter could be anything. I have included a closeup photo of the Gorham silver hallmark so you can be certain this is a Gorham bottle. The hallmark puts the age of the bottle between 1875 and 1900. Shipping is free and all items are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. Vintage Glass Bottle. I am guessing it was either used for a perfume or somekind of potion. The bottle has this strange color of Emerald Green. When the light hits it, as in the picture above its of a dark green, deep aqua green colored. This is one of a kind. First one I have owned with a color like this- not common. The bottle is in mint condition- no chips. Measures 5" inches in height by 4" inches in width. On the bottom it mas markings of the numbers 2 372 F. If you have any questions please contact me. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a six lobed Emerald Green Perfume Bottle with floral enamel design. The floral enamels have only slight wear ~ they are in very good condition for their age. Which would be c. early 1900's. Each lobe has is alternating with either white flowers or orange flowers. There is some thinning to the gold accents. The silver tone metal hardware is in excellent condition with no dents and perhaps a couple light scratches which you won't even notice. The internal metal syphon tube is intact. The ivory bulb is new and when squeezed I do feel puffs of air come out. Unfortunately the jar is missing. They could very likely have been produced by Moser or any of the top quality European Glass houses of the day. Both the Lid and the Perfume bottle have heavy gold stylized Grapes& Leafing. The green is a beautiful deep emerald. Condition: There is very little gold loss. the bottom end of the glass siphon has broken off. The atomizer looks like it may be brass. The glass is in excellent condition with no damage. Approximate Measurements: Perfumer: 6 inches at highest point ... more4 inches at widest diameter Lid: 3 inches at highest point 4-7/8th inches outer measurement of inside rim(it would fit a jar with a 5 inch diameter) Both pieces weigh approximately 13 ounces without packing materials. Very nice set includes two perfume bottles and small dish with gold grapes and scroll and wonderful hand enameled fruit basket on each bottle. One of the bottles has chip on the lip. The other bottle and bowl have no chips or cracks. There is some wear to gold trim on edge of stoppers. Up for auction is an immaculate Rich and Dark Emerald Green 1920's Perfume/ Bud Vase. Most likely however.This item's original purpose was possibly an ink well or an early pharmacist's bottle. With it's tooled finish, exposed and identifiable mold seams at the base up to the neck, as well as the air venting holes on the base; this piece exemplifies a good deal of early American glass making techniques. This is a wonderful example of American craftsmanship and it's longevity. This sturdy vase is amazingly damage free in excellent condition. At the base there is a marking of the double digit numeral 22. This vase is the exact shape. Color, and size of a Gorham Emerald Green piece.
