Found in a local estate is this old perfume and powder jar dresser set. They are in light blue glass and date to the Art Deco period of the 20th century. There is damage to the top of one perfume stopper. No other damage. There are some natural imperfections in the glass made in manufacture, photo#4 shows a line in the glass powder jar side. The perfume measures 6" high with good stopper, the powder jar is 5.75" high. They are not marked. All items I sell are vintage and most are antique. None are perfect. The bottles are clear crystal with a ribbed body and a scalloped edge shoulders. All the pieces have a sterling silver cover with an engraved foliate and line design. The silver is marked. Val St. Lambert Antique Dresser Jar
Up for sale is a Val St. Lambert dresser jar. It has paneled sides. Both on the base and on the sides of the lid. The lid is a very pretty light cranberry cut to clear in a floral pattern. In the center of the lid is a single cut star. There is also one on the bottom. The jar is 2 1/2" wide, a little over 1 1/2" in height. I have found absolutely no chips or nicks. It is in fabulous shape for its age- which is early 1900's. I have also listed a matching perfume bottle. Which is shown in the last picture. Here is an Absolutely Beautiful Custard Opaline Enameled Glass Perfume Bottle Dresser Jar. It was probably made in France in the EARLY 1900s. It is a Beautiful Off white Custard colored opaline glass with pink and white enamel petite flowers. And gold gilded petals, stems, and accents. The glass is patterned also with criss-cross lines. It measures 6 3/4" tall with the stopper in and is 2 1/2" in diameter. The stopper has a Petite Pink and White Enameled flower with the same gold gilded leaves, stems and accents on the top of it. The brass box has an elaborate design on the outside with a hinged lid. The box is in the shape of a heart. It could probably be polished up if you desire. There is normal surface wear for age and a couple tiny dents to the metal. The hinge is in good working order and secure to the box. The mini perfume bottle is bronze colored but is made of glass. It has 3 pressed in in sides& each side has a red jewel. The tiny lid is red glass and twists in and out of the bottle. No chips or cracks to the little glass bottle that I can see. For your consideration: Antique Silver Lid& Cut Crystal Powder Dresser Jar Perfume Bottle Vanity Set C. 1890 set of four Dresser Vanity Jars and perfume bottles. All lids are silver tone. Some have minor denting and age appropriate scuffing. The tallest bottle measures 6 3/8 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It has light surface scuffing. But no chips or damage otherwise. The perfume bottle has a domed lid with original stopper. The lid screws into bottle and measures 4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It also has light wear and no chipping or damage. Still has perfume smell. The round jar measures 1 3/4 inches tall and 2 inches in diamter. The lid has some discoloring of the silver. But otherwise very good.
