However, it was acquired from an estate cleanout dealer here in New Jersey. It is old and looks to me like an Art Nouveau décor. No chips or cracks. There is a dimple(not sure what else call it) in the glass from when it was made. I took a close up photo so you can see what I mean. Also. I did my best to polish the silver overlay but I was not able to get all to shine up. There is still tarnish or some sort of dark discoloration over the silver overlay. I'm not sure if stronger polish will get it to come clean or not. Blue glass has some scratches and marks here and there. It is being sold"as is" as was found so please be sure you are ok with all before buying. I took photos from all sides so you can see exactly what you would receive as the winning bidder. This Stopper can of course be replaced. The Tapering Bottle Measures 5 ¼ inches in length and the Fine Silver Top which is shaped like a Crown with no dents. It seems there could be a very small band of Silver Missing at the bottom of the collar 0.2 of a cm. This is where the original Hall Marks would have been and would have been dated around 1895. Overall Condition is Very good with no Damage. Dents to the top and no chips to the glass. Description Welcome to my Auction. For a superb Antique Victorian- Solid silver& deep cobalt blue glass. Miniature scent/ perfume bottle. With a corked screw top so no need for a stopper. Circa 1880 In wonderful condition. Not hallmarked as was so typical with these Antique Victorian scent bottles. The beautiful flat tubular glass is in lovely condition. The blue bottle is the most wonderful colour being the deepest of the cobalt shades with a hint of purple. With no chips or nibbles. The solid silver screw on lid has heavy repousse silver work of flowers& leaves. Absolutely stunning. I can feel a slight indentation to the lid where the tip of my finger rests when unscrewing the lid. This is very hard to see due to the ornate decoration to the lid. I mention for total accuracy. This tiny scent bottle is a truly beautiful cobalt blue color in very good condition! It has nicks on the top and a very few tiny nicks to the cut glass edges. Please look at all photo's closely. Overall. It's in really great shape. I believe this scent bottle must be at least 100 years old and probably older. I would not be at all surprised if it were made in the late 1800's but it is NOT marked. The glass is hand cut and the lines are imperfect. The sterling top is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or splits. The cork inside is intact and whole. I can still smell a hint of whatever perfume used to be kept in it. Ohio. An extremely similar one signed Libbey appears on page 137 in the rarities section of Pearson's book A Study Of American Cut Glass Collections. It is also shown on page 50 of his Volume#2 book. My piece has cobalt blue color glass cased over clear glass on the bottle and a black overlay stopper. The piece in the books is said to just have a black glass overlay. The bird that I believe is a peacock; looks to be identical and the 2 swirled balls ... morematch also. The only real difference that I see beside the color is that my stopper is longer near the top and mine does not appear to be signed. Similar cut to clear pieces appear in the Fauster's Libbey Glass book and they give me the impression that this piece was probably made in the 1920's or 1930's. It measures 8-1/2" high and the base is 2-3/8" in diameter. The weight is 8.7 ounces. The blank is blown with a polished pontil on the bottom. The unpolished or frosted peacock and plant cutting has good depth and nice detail work. The peacock is a common ingredient in many Art Nouveau style items. The overall condition is excellent. The stopper fits very well and sits at an appropriate level. The stopper and dauber look to be perfect except for a pinpoint sized nick that is probably an exposed bubble with a swirl of minute bubbles next to it where the pontil was polished on top. The bottle is in great condition and I would call it near perfect. The interior looks good, but to be picky I'll mention some scratches where the dauber has rubbed. These can only be seen if you hold it up to bright light and look closely for them. This piece could appeal

Vintage cobalt blue cut glass perfume bottle SILVER ENDS as found
Thank you for viewing this auction for a vintage cobalt blue perfume bottle with silver ends( I would like to think it is unmarked sterling but not sure but a lot of these were unmarked) Item is 5 3/4 inches long from cap to cap. The cobalt is about 1 1/8 inches round. Used condition the flip top silver end is good but the cork that seals the perfume is on the inside in 2 pieces and I will leave it there for the buyer to remove(shown in last photo) The screw on end appears to have had the end on the bottle reset as it probably came loose and is worn(See Photo) the top for that end has the cork still inside and has a couple of slight cracks on the end closest to bottle(see upside photo) The cobalt has some nicks in the glass nothing to major. Or some similar precious metal. The clover leaf pump mechanism seems to be very rare, I haven't seen another one like it. 9 1/2" tall. Victorian in style, just too beautiful for words. Could this have been on a beautiful French woman's vanity? I'll never know. But it sure would not have been out of place. Victorian Cut Glass Double Ended Perfume Bottle in Cobalt Blue
Here is a beautiful Cut Glass. Double Ended perfume or scent bottle in Cobalt Blue. It measures 5" long and has hinged brass caps. Decagon in shape which most of the double ended bottles are Octagon(10 panels rather than eight or octagon. There is a dent in one of the end caps but both hinges work good. The bottle originally comes with glass stoppers that the caps conceal and they are missing. Also it has a small chip on one panel. Absolutely beautiful! Please see the pictures before you bid.

Up for auction is this lot of three perfume bottles. Two of the bottles are clear glass. They each stand about 5 inches high and 4 1/2 inches wide. They both have their stoppers. One has a little rope and flower hanging around the neck while the other has a couple tassels. The other bottle is a beautiful cobalt blue bottle with stopper and base in a deep green. Antique WHITE GLASS CUT BACK TO COBALT BLUE Perfume Scent Bottle HAND PAINTED
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a unique Perfume Scent Bottle. It has cobalt blue glass on the interior with clear glass around that and then white glass on the exterior. The white glass has then been cut back to reveal the blue glass interior. Such a pretty glass effect and you can see it best from the bottom or when you hold it up to light. I have seen this done with items made in France and Czechoslovakia. This little bottle appears to be c. late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The screw on lid is silver tone metal but it is not sterling. The threading has been dented a little over the years so the lid screws on but is a loose fit. There is still a lot of the gold painted detail left but it is thinning in a few areas. I think there may have been some colored. Floral paintings on the ... morewhite glass that have worn down with age. You can just barely make out the faded outlines. No chips. Cracks or repairs but I do see a couple microscopic nibbles to the bottom edge. They are super tiny but you might be able to see them in the photos of the bottom as they are not seen when the bottle standing up for display. It looks like the letter"C" painted on the bottom but I don't know the significance of this. Maybe it's just the owners initial( The bottle with lid in place is 3 7/8 inches tall and 1 ½ inches across at the widest part which is the shoulder area just below the cap. A Cobalt blue doubled ended silver ends This fab antique bottle features cobalt blue glass with 10 cut panels/sides The metal is not marked by any maker nor the glass. The bottle has 10 cut sides and beveled shoulders. CONDITION: very good! I note: no stoppers. long gone. their is a cork in the top of the one that screws off. The glass is good but I note that there is smelling salts in one side of that bottle. Best seen in picture# 22. That is the side that the top screws off with the cork inside the lid. Clean healthy glass. No residue- other than what is mentioned on the one side. The hinge works good and while checking to see if any wobble I just noticed that one side is come apart. not really wobbley just ... morea smidge. it works fine and stay shut does not affect it. The hardware is silver and not marked. the inside of the one end looks to be a bit gold perhaps gold wash. I note: small dings on the silver end of the screw top I note: 3 dings some tiny dark spots and nicks on the hinged top. Summary: no chips there is smelling salts on one side. the one hinge has come apart on one side still works fine. dings to the silver ends. As with all of my items, this item is FINAL SALE. Listed here is a Sampson Mordan& Co London ~ Cobalt Blue glass double ended scent bottle. Circa from the late 1800's and s tamped- S. Mordan Co London" along the capped rim. The cap with the hinged end still works perfectly and closes tight. The original glass stopper is still inside and in great condition. It looks like it has scratches but they are just bubbles in the glass. The other end appears to have had the cap permanently glued on(look closely at the photos) Both capped ends have many dings and show wear to the finish and are both plain with no decorative engravings. There is a pin head size ding to one of the ten sides but all the rest are good. Thank you for looking!
