Up for auction is this mini free crystal perfume bottle. It looks like it might have been silver plated because the rim inside is silver. It needs to be cleaned. I will leave that up to the new owner. It has a green jewel at the top, it does NOT have a stopper. There is a ball of cotton in the top, you can see it in picture#10. The hinge is working well and the top fits securely. Measures approximately 2 3/8s" high(this includes the green jewel) and is approximately 13/16th of an inch in diameter. Chain& Ring From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Lovely Victorian CUT COBALT BLUE GLASS CHATELAINE HANGING PERFUME with Brass Stopper. Chain& Hanging Ring. Standing about 2 3/4” tall(4 3/4” including the chain and ring) This beautiful pyramid design glass is beneath the hinged cap which snaps tightly closed. Attached to the collar around the neck is a ball chain which attaches to the ring from which this is all hung on a chatelaine. This probably didn't get much use over its life as it is in extraordinary condition with only a couple of tiny defects in the glass that I see under magnification but don't feel which means they are more likely from manufacture than from use. Beautiful Victorian Clear Glass Footed Perfume Bottle Floral and Foliate Brass Overlay Design Stopper with Brass Flower Top For Your Old Perfume Bottle Collection Details Description: This is a gorgeous clear glass perfume bottle with a tight fitting stopper having a glass dipping rod. The bottle which is made of clear glass. Has around squat shape and the stopper has a brass top in the shape of a bursting flower. The bottle has a nice brass overlay with a solid round base and four feet on which the bottle rest. The brass overlay is shaped in a beautiful floral and foliate design with the flowers being on the bottom and the foliate being on the sides and top of the bottle. The bottle has a round recessed base with the round brass ring holding the feet sitting right on its edge. The bottle has rounded sides which flares outwardly then back ... moreinwardly and tapers at a round neck where the stopper would fit. The whole piece has beautiful decorative appearance and is very much Victorian in design. The brass stopper has a glass dipping rod in its center which goes down about 2 two third of the way to the bottom of the bottle. It could possibly be older then the 1940's. It has no makers mark. And. The remnant perfume smells really nice. A flowery baby powdery sort of smell, very 1940's. Smells old. The color is a true pink, the color is smelted into the glass during the smelting process. Piece stands 4 1/4" from the base to the top of the brass atomizer. The bottle by its self stands 2 1/2" in height. The opening of the bottle measures 3/4" outer rim edge to outer rim edge. The bottom measures 1 1/2" The atomizer stands 1 3/4" in height. The atomizer squeeze measures 1 7/8" x 1 3/8" The plastic tube inside measures 2 1/4" in length. Piece is in good antique ... morecondition.
