Prince Matchabelli Crown Wind Song (1953) Giant Store Display Perfume Bottle
This auction is for a very large Prince Matchabelli perfume bottle. Our research has determined it was used as a store display for the brand and was probably filled with perfume from which samples were given. This model and coloring is called the Wind Song which they produced in 1953. The ground glass stopper is also all glass with gold coloring. The much smaller antique all glass Matchabellis usually sell from $100-$250. This one is very large! Approximately 8.5" tall x 8" long and 4" wide. 32 fluid oz capacity? The inside is clean and still has a slight hint of the perfume. The bottom is mold marked PRINCE MATCHABELLI and that is all. Some of the gold is rubbed off along with some of the green on one side. This is a pretty vintage German lay down perfume scent bottle made of mercury glass in white with blue. Orange, green swirls. There is gold glitter in some of the swirls. Circa 1930's. The metal crown cover is attached to a piece of cork and it unscrews. The cover has some tarnish that is expected from aging. 2 1/4" tall and just under 1 1/2" wide. Opens on her left side where her crown stopper sits. It is an original crown stopper& one that unscrews to release the scent. This is a great crowntop perfume bottle. It is in good condition with a"k" mark on the bottom. Rare German figural perfume/ scent bottle in the shape of a seated cat. they are painted bright yellow. And there is a crown shaped stopper on the top of the cat; it is silver(or pewter) color with cork surrounding the part that extends down into the bottle. Cat, including crown, is approx 3 3/4 inches tall. The bottom of the cat is unglazed, and has the letter"K" on it. This is an unusual and cute bottle, and I think you'd be very pleased with it. This colorful porcelain crown top perfume bottle was made in Germany by the Schneider company. Cir 1930's. The Figure stands 5" Very few models were produced in large sizes. Some were produced in more than one size. With the largest being the most difficult to find. Stamped with Carl Schneider mark. Germany and with the number 15131. In addition, is painted the number 15. Her pose is simple yet elegant at the same time. The vibrant fuchsia glaze of her gown offsets her décolleté. The urn she balances would have held the perfume. The cork is intact and fits snugly in the bottle.

Antique California Perfume Company Concentrated Toilet Water in White Rose scent. I believe it is from the 1920s and is was made for around 2 ounces of product. Some product is still inside and honestly it smells very good. I can imagine this is exactly what some women smelled like nearly 100 years ago. The bottle measures 4.5 inches tall and 1.75 inches wide at the base. The paper label is still intact and readable. There is another paper label around the neck which reads'White Rose' You can see a cork in the neck through the glass. The crown top pulls out and functions as a dabber. The metal lid for which the dabber slides into is also embossed'California Perfume Company' Condition: Excellent. The bottle is thick and sturdy and the only imperfections are from when it was originally manufactured. Paper labels are all intact ... morealthough I think some of the color has worn(there are spots of gold on the paper around the neck) The bottle is perfectly transparent. Up for action is a lovely vintage perfume bottle with a crown stopper in blue glass with an overlay of sterling silver. This perfume bottle measures 2 1/2" tall x 2 1/8" wide. The bottom is stamped US ZONE GERMANY(last photo) There is a floral design in sterling on top of the blue glass design on each side. The floral design is the same on each side. The crown stopper unscrews and comes off(photo#4) It fits perfectly on top. This bottle dates back to the late 1940's. The stopper crown can be twisted into an open or closed position which allows you to sprinkle the perfume from the top of the crown when it is in open position. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a pretty Blue& Gold porcelain perfume or snuff bottle with gold crown cork stopper. Most bottles I have seen like this have either been German or Austrian made. This one is not marked but it does appear to have a number stamped in under the gold on the bottom. It's hard to make out. 5112" This would be circa late 1800's- early 1900's for age and, with that said, the cork crown stopper is in excellent condition. This is a well kept little bottle. The blue and gold floral design is very much intact. The only thing to mention is a few tiny areas where the gold has worn away on the sides and up at the opening. The little gold crown still screws up and down as it should so that the perfume or powder could be sprinkled out without ... moreremoving the lid completely. I see these now and then on eBay but most don't have the original crown stopper so this a great find! No chips, cracks or repairs noted. It is very clean inside and out.
