I loved finding unusual cut glass and these were by far the richest colors. Artfully cut, and proportioned of any I've owned. They are not marked, but any one can see that they are vintage artifacts with quality and'pedigree' I've been collecting for years and love finding pretty antiques and decorative treasures. I recently returned to school. So I'm downsizing and selling many collectibles to finance my education. Criss-Cut Pyramid Perfume This is a good-looking vintage perfume bottle. Likely from Czechoslovakia around the 1920s-30s. It is clear glass bottle with heavily faceted cut base and simpler stopper. The stopper is a bit loose-fitting and a may be a replacement. The base is pyramidal and faceted with an intricate criss-cross pattern. There are no maker's marks that I can find. The bottle does have significant chipping around the various points of the base. Still, it is a pretty piece with plenty of appeal. A beautiful antique Bohemian cranberry overlay glass cut to white perfume bottle. The bottle measures 7.25" high to the top of the stopper. The gold is in very good condition with light wear. There is one very shallow flake on the top edge- see last photo. Next to it is a tiny flick on the edge which is difficult to see. Wonderful shape and cut- a pretty piece. The stopper is original and undamaged and lock in place. Just found in an old central Connecticut home and fresh on the market. Antique Bohemian Cut to Clear Etched Amber or Yellow Glass Scent/ Perfume Bottle Dog& Deer Theme Antique Bohemian cut to clear glass scent or perfume bottle or possibly a vinegar bottle with octagon shaping featuring wheel cut paneling. This is a numbers matching piece. The number 12 is etched on the stopper as well as the opening of the bottle. All original! The glass stopper. Amber colored knob with etched design. The glass is a rich amber yellow color, cut to clear with exquisite engraved intaglios featuring an extensive woodland panorama encircling the bottle with themes of the hunt. The bottle features a gorgeous and unique setting, depicting a receding tree to root foreground. Fine detail emphasize the stylized foliate of the trees, the undergrowth of the forest floor and a dog as well as a Deer. Such superb craftsmanship atone ... morefor the quality of the cutting and the extraordinary level of detail entailed in the intaglios, a testament to the skill of the glass cutter. The glass was likely crafted at one of the major glasshouses, attributed to Moser. In overall good condition for its age, shows general wear and a few small chips around the bottle opening and one small chip in the base, but there are no chips or cracks to the glass body or stopper. Offered Here For Your Consideration is this 1880's Dorflinger Finest Deep Cobalt to Clear Brilliant Cut Perfume in the Bohemian Style. It measures 4" tall to the flared lip. 6" to the top of the stopper, 2" in diameter at the base, and 1.5" in diameter at the mouth. The stopper fits well, but is not correct. It is a stippled leaf pattern and belongs to a piece of 1880's pattern glass, but still looks good and is how I received this bottle. No aftermarket damage only a few bits of finishing roughness on the ground lip, which is common and to be expected in this type of lip treatment. Excellent Condition! No Chips. Stopper is designed of four flowers, two of them are brushed, frosted Crystal and two are clear Crystal. Both sides have Crystal carving- cut with two shiny and two mat crystal flowers. This lot contains an antique cologne perfume bottle. And an unrelated stopper, both cobalt cut back to clear glass, both probably Bohemian, and circa 1860's. Together they measure 8" tall. The seven sided bottle measures 5" tall by 4-1/2" diameter, with a 3/4" diameter opening of a stopper. The six sided hollow stopper measures 3-1/2" tall by 4-1/4" diameter, the neck 3/4" diameter. Antique Bohemian Hand Cut to Clear Ruby Perfume Scent Bottle Stopper Genie
This listing is for two perfume bottles and one stopper in excellent condition. The second stopper has been broken and a previous owner has improvised with masking tape. I can give you the name of an excellent and affordable glass restorer. Priced accordingly. These bottles are hand made and they are 6" without the stoppers. It measures 7 3/4" to the top of the good stopper. The flared opening rims are slightly out of round. They are beautifully cut. The bottoms have age-appropriate shelf wear. I believe these pieces date to the late 19th early 20th century. Unsigned. They have been used and retain a scent of perfume. A good washing should take care of that. Antique 5" Bohemian Czech Art Cameo Glass Perfume Bottle w/ Cut Glass Stopper
If you're a collector of art glass then you know you've come across something special in this Bohemian Czech perfume bottle! Bohemian art glass was made in what is now the Czech Republic and Austria in the early twentieth century. This example is cut-to-clear or cameo glass and has a white glass exterior that is cut through with eight ovals or teardrops to show the underlying cranberry-colored glass. The white glass is decorated with hand-painted blue. Red, purple, and pink flowers. The rim of the bottle is scalloped and accented in gold. The stopper is clear cut glass and has a turreted hexagonal shape with small bubbles visible in the glass. We're not sure if this is the original stopper, but this is how it came from the estate; it fits, and is the correct shape for a stopper for a Bohemian glass perfume bottle. The perfume ... morebottle measures 5.5" in height(with stopper; 3.25" in height without stopper) 3 7/8" in diameter, and with a neck that is 2 5/8" diameter. The piece is unmarked, which is typical for Bohemian glass. Up for auction I have this nice lot of mainly Czech perfume bottles. At least five of the mostly cut glass ones still have the etching on the bottom that you can vaguely see Czechoslovakia. I know condition is everything and for me these will be hard to describe. For the most part there in very good shape except for one of the violet colored bottles which has a pretty sizable chip on the neck. The small frosted blue bottle has small chip on the neck. The tall blue Czech bottle has tiny nicks on the edges. The clear cut glass Czech bottle looks to be in very good condition I don't see any nicks on that at all. ANTIQUE BOHEMIAN CZECH HAND CUT GLASS CRYSTAL PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE 1860-1870's
A very nice and early c. 1860's-1870's Czech/ Bohemian hand blown crystal/ cut glass perfume/ scent bottle with hand cut faceted edges to catch the light. Both the bottle as well as the matching original stopper are 8-sided. And each vertical panel is further scored into 6 horizontal segments, the middle one of which is larger than the others and painted with a simple leaf and dot design in blue enamel. The horizontal wedges are further accented with gold banding. Due to the lead oxide content, the glass is heavy for its size. The glass has been hand polished to achieve a good reflective quality and the piece shimmers and glints in the light. The bottle and stopper are original to each other. Both visually and they also both bear the identical number(10” painted on. Since each bottle is individually made and therefore there are very ... moreslight differences from piece to piece, the glass workers would ensure that every bottle was paired up with the stopper that was specifically created for it by marking both pieces so there would never be any wobbling. The bottle is 4" high with the stopper on. Individually. The bottle is 3" tall and the stopper is 1-1/2" tall. The bottle is in very fine condition for its age. There are only a few teensy. Really tiny, fleabites which you can't see at all, and you can't even feel them if you run your finger around the edges. You actually have to look for them with a loupe. The stopper has 2 very small fleabites on the dauber, and there is a flake off the underside of the dauber rim. Again. They are minor and you can't see them when the stopper is inside the bottle. The gold inside the wedge cuts is strong and intact, but the painted gold lines at the bottle neck, rim and at the top of the stopper have a very small amount of loss, if I'm being picky. The top of the stopper has a round circle design in gold and to my eye, this appears slightly off center. We should all look so good at 150+ years old! This is a sweet little thing. THE ARTIST DID AN EXTREMELY GREAT JOB CUTTING THESE DESIGNS. IT STANDS 6 INCHES TALL(WITH THE STOPPER) AND HAS NO DAMAGE AT ALL. Perfume or Decanter Bottle. This is very old and stunning with its colbalt blue cut back to clear. The measurements are in the pictures. Check out the pictures and in the last 3 I point out what I see. 1. a possible slice of the blue not sure of a chip or done while being made. 2. a chip on the stopper end that goes inside the bottle. 3. a little of the blue is worn off the bottom as photos show I also just noticed a little residue on the bottom.not bad I would say the bottle is good healthy glass. Now with that being said this auction is for the blue and clear bottle only. I have photos of 2 green sandwich glass bottles from my collection. to help show you the ... moresize of this bottle for an idea. the bottles can be purchased. one is on auction.the other I have not put on as yet. Also I have seen pictures of this same bohemian bottle design shown as Boston and Sandwich glass. Seems they copied alot of the Bohemian designs. This bottle came from Europe so I doubt it is sandwich glass. But Boston and Sandwich glass co. copied these in the 1850's to 1880's. sold as is as all my items are. Antique c 1880's, Bohemian ? Blue Cut to Clear Crystal Purfume/Decanter Bottle
Very nice bottle. Shows well. Bottle with stopper is about 6&1/8" tall. It is about 2&9/16" round. 2" of stopper sticks out of bottle and it is 1&3/4" round. There are some tiny scratches and chips you need to be quite close to see. one foot for me with the aid of readers) Told the bottle is from the 1880's time period. Check out photos I think I covered all sides of the bottle.
