This Venetian art glass perfume bottle is vintage but was never used to hold perfume. It is 3-1/2" tall without the stopper. 5" tall with it and 3" wide. It is in very good condition with only a small black speck on the stopper. The tip of the stopper also appears to have been chipped off but in a smooth fashion. Also, the stopper does not fit tightly in the bottle and may not be the original although it does match in color. A gorgeous perfume bottle in perfect condition! The body is blown glass. The connector is molded and attached metal, the very top of the gold part is plastic, and the black part is a cloth-covered plastic. I can't figure out how to open this. It measures 4.75" tall and 3" diameter. The photos don't do justice to the beauty of the glass. The black swirls are irridescant and the green parts are translucent. The hand blown glass is perfect with no chips or scratches. The silver mercury crackle is perfect with no missing silver. The plating on the top of the bottle is clean and showing no worn spots. There are two labels on the bottom of the bottle. One says hand blown. The other is the Devilbiss label, however it is worn and the bottle number is no long visible, and the Devilbiss name is not all there. This is such a great find for the perfume bottle collector. Maker is I. RICE. Gorgeous. Like new. Original makers sticker on bottom. Stopper type top and heavy crystal bottom. Hand Blown art glass in crystal clear, red& white colors. Gorgeous swirl pattern in red and white with a clear base. Approx 6" 7" Stopper top has a slight iridescent sheen. Any marks such as bright white dots or black dots are simply from my overhead multi-tier chandelier. There are no flaws or bad marks on this gorgeous collectible item. It's in outstanding condition. Over the years. IPBA Archivist, has answered many questions about perfume bottles, but the most frequently asked questions have been about IRICE. She has decided to write up a report on what is known about this company which we are pleased to publish on this website. The company started as a jobber or importer of various vanity items in the 1920's ... morein New York. The head of the company was named Irving W. Rice and he gave an abbrievation of his name to the company which appears on the distinctive silver and blue foil labels ever since- IRICE. The company still exists today in New York and every Christmas if you go to a drug store and look on the counter there will be a display of Irice atomizers. The company never made the items. They were importers and jobbers. So the perfume atomizers and bottles spanned a wide variety of qualities and countries. Irice brought in boxcar loads of Czechslovakian crystal before World War II. During the war. Irice used American companies and then after hostilities were over, the company began importing again, but this time from West Germany and the labels reflect this. Today most of the sources are in the Far East in Japan and later in Taiwan. Irice is located in New York City at 15 West 34th St. and continues to supply vanity items and perfume bottles to America.

It is a beautiful perfume bottle Art Deco/Art Nouveau style. Pink, hand blown glass with white pulled loop. Swirl, on indescent body. This bottle is in excellent condition, stopper also. Antique Hand Blown Art Glass Pulled Feather Perfume Bottle w/Atomizer 1930s Fresh from an estate is this GORGEOUS pulled feather art glass perfume bottle. It is absolutely stunning in color and design. The iridescence in this hand blown glass is beautiful. The purple transitions to bluish hues that transform into reds and golds all so wonderfully captured in the blue and white pulled feather design. The atomizer is in absolutely perfect condition with the tassels fully intact. The crystal footed base is quite fancy and is applied to the body with a very decorative swirling attachment. You can see the bubbles in the glass throughout the piece from the blowing process. This perfume d ates from circa 1930s. It is large it measures a full 8” tall and the atomizer measures 12” from the brass finial to the tassels. The condition is fabulous. No ... morecracks repairs or hairlines at all.
