This piece dates to late 1800s or early 1900s. And is of continental European origin, likely German or Italian. The stand is very ornate, with a handle in the form of a putti playing with a snake and scenes of cherubs playing instruments around the side of each bottle holder. On each side of the stand is a gilded scallop shell form drip catcher, beneath a round slot to hold the stoppers of the cruets while they're in use, very convenient. These drip catchers are removable for ease of cleaning. The stand is on four claw and ball form feet, with fancy shell decorations above. The bottles themselves are beautifully cut, with sparkling faceted stoppers. The majority of the cruet stand is silver, only the plate on the underside is steel, with old hand cut bolt construction. The silver is tested and guaranteed at least 800 purity. This cruet set is in good overall condition. One of the glass bottles has a crack. But is not in any danger of coming apart and is probably even still useable. One of the cherubs is missing his flute. Both cherubs have repairs to one of their arms, which are quite hard to notice. There are no other issues. The stand is about 14 1/4 inches tall at the highest point. The total weight. Not including the glass bottles, is 1041 grams or 36.7 regular ounces. The second stopper is round- ball shap ed with a fingerprint facet cut. It has th e nu mber"47" cut into the bottom. Both the stop pers are solid The round stopper measures approximately: 4 1/ 2" hig h and 2 1/ 2" base diameter at widest section. General Description: Up for sale are two Spanish Decanters. We know they were produced in Spain as a long time ago one of them once had the paper label showing such. They are heavy glass with very large stoppers with large cork mounts beneath. One is a purple and white mix. The other a beige, orange type of mix. the finish has a rough feel to it and is a form of paint which can easily be re-touched if desired. The finish is easy to remove by finger nails and the pictures have been done to show the worst of it, but rest assured both decanters have good sides for display. Measuring 21" high approx by 6" wide approx(19" circumference) They are quite large. Condition: No chips. Just minor loss of the finish here and there but nothing super eye-detracting. VINTAGE CLEAR GLASS PERFUME STOPPERS 2 BALL TOP SMALL AND LARGE
2 clear glass perfume stoppers. The larger one measures 2 3/4" tall and the stopper measures 3/4" at the bottom(smallest end) and graduates up. This stopper has a design that I've tried to show in the picture. The top is in perfect condition and is made of quality glass. It does have a very small chip on the end of the stopper and has a ground glass bottom. The smaller stopper measures 1 1/2" tall and the stopper bottom measures 1/4" and graduates up larger. The very end of the stopp has a small chip but the round ball top is in perfect condition and made of quality glass.

Glass stoppers vintage pair big black ball stopper flat clear decanter stopper 2 Once upon a time I owned a little antiques/collectibles shop featuring glass and china. I sold out most of my product when I retired. But every now and then, something sneaks out of a basement bin and says'hey, do something with me! that's the case with these stoppers. They're too good to throw away. But I have no use for them. Here's the shapes and measurements: Black- solid black glass. Ball top- it is 3 1/4 inches tall. Top is ball and about 1 5/8 inch in diameter. Narrow neck, very slightly sloping shoulder and the NOT-ground to fit stopper part has a deep slant. It measures 15/16 inch across the very bottom, and 1 5/8 inch at the shoulder. The slant or stopper part is 1 1/4 inches long. The very bottom has been ground off, resulting in several ... moreflat chips on the outside edge. Clear- It. Too has been ground but only at the very bottom of the stopper part. IT is 1 3/8 inches tall, with the solid, crystal clear lid part being two inches across and 5/8 inch deep. It slopes a bit to the neck and then flares out to the 1 1/8 inch bottom. It has teeny nicks across the room, possibly creating by grinding off some length to fit something. Looks very much like those old whiskey decanter bottles that had a chain and label around the bottle itself. Both are solid glass and heavy- free shipping- ouch! so they can get to a new home. For your consideration is a pair of Cambridge tilt ball cruets with stoppers. Pattern is Caprice. Pattern# 98. Produced 1936-1957. Color is crystal. Each cruet measures approximately 3 1/2 inches tall and hold 3 ounces. Wonderful condition with no chips. Cloudiness or cracks. One cruet has what looks like a balsamic vinegar stain on the top, under the handle. Very hard to take a good photo of it, but if you want one, just let me know and I will try to send one. Also one stopper looks as though it has been ground down a little on the bottom, but could be from manufacturers. It fits well into the cruet. A few scratches on both, otherwise beautiful condition. They measure 3.5" L and the approx. diameter of the larger one is 6.5" R while the smaller is 5" R both have small chips at the base(see pics) but the balls are in good used condition and are being sold as such.
