This is a set of antique. 999, sterling silver overlay, art nouveau, perfume bottles. To our knowledge. They are Alvin Sterling Silver with the low numbers of 3104, fine. We're assuming they are rare. The Alvin Manufacturing Company was founded in 1886 by William H. Jamo uneau in Irvington. New Jersey. The company moved to Sag Harbor. Long Island in 1895 and later changed its name to the Alvin Silver Co. in 1919. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was known for making fine sterling silver. The Gorham company of Providence. Rhode Island acquired the Alvin Company’s dies and patterns in 1928. The largest measures 4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter with original stopper. The second to largest one that's very wide and flat measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" diameter with original stopper. The stopper is the one ... morethat's chipped. The top says"GB" in script. The bottom has the hallmark 3104 Fine with the A between two other markings. The stopper has the#53 on the end of the top and 52 on the bottle bottom. This bottle was made by an American silver company probably by Alvin or Gorham right around the year 1900. This piece is not marked but I guarantee the overlay to be sterling silver. The overlay is thick and it a flower and a leaf. There is also a cartouche for monogramming that was never engraved. The overlay is engraved with details. You are bidding on a beautiful early 1900's Antique Art Nouveau Dark Cranberry Perfume Bottle with intricate silver lace decoration surrounding the entire bottle and a silver heart stopper. There is a silver cartouche with a fancy capital letter"D" engraved in the center of it. The word"STERLING" is stamped on the opposite side of the cartouche on one of the lower silver laces. Hard to see with the naked eye but it is visible. The bottle is in excellent condition except for some internal hairlines on one side of the inter neck of the bottle which we believe happened from the heat of the silver when it was being applied, there are no other defects. Up for bids is an antique Art Nouveau style perfume bottle. It is made of glass with sterling silver overlay. I believe it is called squat shaped. The overlay is done in a very beautiful floral/leaf pattern. Overall the bottle is in good to great condition. As far as I could tell there is no loss of sterling. Repairs, or cracks/chips/breaks to the glass. The only mark I could find on it is Sterling. There is some minor residue inside from whatever was in it years ago. Also the sterling has a couple minor dings on the rim. It has a place for a monogram that is clear and ready for your personalization. It comes with its original matching stopper. The hand blown stopper would be in great shape if it wasn't for the one chip as seen in the pics. Vintage Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Overlay Crystal Glass Perfume Scent Bottle
Up for sale is this gorgeous perfume bottle with the stopper. This is made of a crystal glass with a Sterling Silver overlay design in the Art Nouveau style. It is marked"sterling" The piece measures 4 1/2” tall and 1 5/8” wide. It is in wonderful condition with no chips. Cracks, repairs or damage other than the tiny dings to the silver in the stopper and some shrinkage to the cork(which can be replaced, I leave that up to the collector) This is a super pretty piece and somewhat unusual since it has the pierced/open stopper. For sale an Early 20th Cent. Art Nouveau style Sterling Silver and Glass Perfume Bottle in excellent condition. Item comes from my Great-Grandmother's estate. She was the sole owner of this lovely artifact. Stands 5' x 11' at it's widest point, this gem has not been cleaned or altered in anyway. I have posted a number of pics. per the maker's mark; there are two sets of characters. The first is either"06HM" or"OGHM. The other appears to be two different characters however they are rather worn hence difficult to read. I have had a local expert here in Napa Valley inspect-it, she believes it to be British or Czech made around 1900-1920. Ships for free to U.S. Customers.

And has not been removed for the 25 years I have had it on display. It may come out with warm water soaks. I just never tried.
