This is a stunning example of the quality glass work produced by Czech craftsmen. In this case specifically the Morlee company. The Czech/Bohemian glassware became as prestigious as jewelry and was sought-after by the wealthy and the aristocracy of the time. Czech crystal chandeliers could be found in the palaces of the French king Lois XV. Empress of Austria, and Elizabeth of Russia, and in Milan's La Scala. Bohemian crystal became famous for its excellent cut and engraving. This piece shows of just that in it's deep etchings! The body is a rarely found black crystal and deeply etched in the Art Deco/Nouveau style The dauber is also a heavy crystal deeply etched on one surface and around the rim Exact date of manufacture of bottle is unknown but is between the 1920s and early 1930s The bottle is in excellent antique condition. RARE Antique Art Deco BLACK & SILVER Perfume Bottle Atomizer SIGNED DeVILBISS
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is an elegant black glass perfume bottle with rare silver tone hardware& atomizer. The hardware is all original ~ only the bulb and cord are new ~ but even the cord caps are original. This is definitely a DeVilbiss bottle and has the gold painted stamp on the bottom. Likely c. 1920-1930. Again, another bottle with that great Art Deco style. This bottle is in excellent condition ~ nothing major to report. Perhaps a tiny surface scratch I missed. No chips or cracks and no repairs that I can detect. In fact, the atomizer can be overly twisted past it's tight point and I feel just a tiny give in the collar if you twist it that far. This tiny detail is something that naturally occurs after years and years of use, you may not even notice it, but ... moreit's another reason I feel confident the hardware is original. I have not shined the silver as I was not certain if it is meant to have this"brushed" metal appearance but I always liked it that way so you'll have to do the shinning. The bottle is empty and clean inside and out. The glass syphon tube is intact with only a couple microscopic nibbles to the very end. When the bulb is squeezed you are able to feel the air come out so it appears to still be in working order. The gold"DeVilbiss" lettering on the bottom of the base is very clear& readable. It is 6 1/2 inches tall to the top of the ball on the atomizer. The base is 2 1/4 inches wide. You just can't go wrong with such a supreme example of DeVilbiss at it's best. Made in Bohemia or Czechoslovakia this is a very old Art Deco scent bottle. Still has the IRICE New York label attached. The bottle is black glass and the wonderful stopper is clear with a flower and leaf etched into it and the stopper is in terrific condition. The bottle has small finds at the inner and outer edges of the mouth. The black is almost 3 1/4 high and with the stopper in place just over 5 inches. The carved high low black glass is dramatic and would be a splendid addition to a vanity collection.

art deco perfume bottle amber/gold and black 4 3/4 in tall
A very nice perfume from the art deco period in amber glass with gold and black trim. The bottle is footed with a metal cap at the opening and metal on the wand. The perfume is 4 3/4 inches tall and has a 2 inch foot. All in good condition except for a couple of small spots of paint missing in the gold paint on the foot. It is very art deco with black glass and gold enameling. It still has it's original glass rod inside but not the ball. There are no chips. Cracks or wear to the gold finish. The brass top shows very slight aging to the finish. It is a beautiful bottle that came from the original owner to my collection for a long time. I am not sure who the glass maker is. Up for bid is this gorgeous glass perfume bottle and pin dish. There are no chips. No cracks on the perfume bottle. The stopper has one tiny chip on one side of the point on the upper portion. The stopper has a few tiny chips on the underside. I think this is from the manufacturing process. The pin dish has a small chip on the inside rim. The perfume bottle measures 6" in height and 3 5/8" in length across the base. The pin dish measures 1 1/4" in height and 3 1/4" across the base in length. 1920's?DEVILBISS ART DECO GLASS ATOMIZER PERFUME BOTTLE BLACK DOTS 4 5/8"
This perfume bottle measures about 4 5/8" tall. The base is frosted glass with black lines and dots and a black line going all the way around the base at the bottom. The gold part has DEVILBISS on it and the top unscrews. I think this is Art Deco style from the 1920's but check your sources. No cracks or damage that I can see. Free shipping if within the US. Art Deco Perfume Bottle, Black Glass, Mint Condition, German/Czech, 1900-1940
For Auction: an Art Deco. Black Faceted Glass Perfume Bottle. With original stopper, and silk tassel with matching glass bead. Stands approximately 3.5 inches tall(9 centimeters) and weighs approximately 6.5 ounces. This perfume bottle belonged to my grandmother who brought it to the U.S. with her in 1932. I remember seeing it on her dresser while growing up. So I can vouch for the age of this piece. Since I am approaching 70! She came to the US from southern Germany, via Berne Switzerland. So the bottles origins are somewhere in that area of Europe. It still has a vague scent of the original perfume(kind of flower-like) Hoping to find a good home for it. Maybe yours? Happy Bidding!

Rare Czech Art Deco Perfume Bottle Black Glass w Frosted Stopper
This is a rare bottle: a Czech Art Deco era(1920s- 1930s) perfume bottle with a heavily cut black geometric design on the base and a frosted. Molded clear crystal stopper. No dauber. The bottle is acid etched on the bottom"Made in Czechoslovakia" I believe it to be a Hoffman. It is in fine antique condition with only a few very tiny flea bites to a couple of the edges of the base and one tiny flea bite inside the neck of the bottle where the dauber goes in. I have never seen another one like it. This is just one of a lifetime collection of rare Czech. French and commercial perfumes that I am now selling, so please check my other items!
