For your consideration. This a a vintage, filigree ornate candleholder more than likely used in a Catholic church on an altar. The top of the candleholder has 9 beautiful, large jewels, open set, to allow the light from the candle to shine through the stones. The stones are blue, green, red, yellow and lavendar colored. The top of the candleholder swivels in a 360 degree circle. The bottom of the candleholder has art deco, paw-like feet and has three symbols-a cross, the sacred heart and IHS. The top has Christ figures holding a staff and"Christ Our King" inscripted underneath each figure. This measures approx. 6-1/4" high by 3-3/4" wide. ~ GREAT ANTIQUE AMERICAN STAINED GLASS WINDOWS JEWELS~
This are a double hung(top and bottom) set of stained glass window that were salvaged from a demolished PA home. The upper piece has a slag medallion with 4 fasceted green jewels and 2 creamy white circles in the corners. The rest of the window is set in a variety clear and distorted glass. The lower piece has a couple of creamy white half circles and the variation in clear and distorted glass continues from the upper to the lower piece. There are 2 pieces of border glass with cracks. Each is only 3/4 inch long and they are stable with no loss. The upper frame has a lower stile that has some seperation. Glue, screw and clamp to fix. It has no reinforcing bar on the back and if you shake the window(should'nt do that! it does have some movement. If hung and displayed, there will be no problems. The lower window does have reinforcing bars ... morebut the ties seperated and it does have a bow. If you wish, you can resolder the ties and it should be fine. The frames are painted white on one side, brown on the other. The set may need some attention but overall is in good condition for 120 year old windows. There are 5 big roundel jewels and 3 smaller facet cut blue jewels. We have installed a brand new oak frame. The window measures 34-1/8" long. 32-1/8" high and is 1-1/2" deep. The glass itself measures 30" x 28" Overall. It is in very good condition. There are some hairlines. Scratches and dings contribute to the charm of the piece. Please review the photographs carefully. Here is a beautiful"SUPERIOR" victorian antique 12 jewel gas heater/stove it looks to be c.1900 vintage or thereabouts not sure? It features 12 total jewels 6 blue and 6 orange faceted glass jewels. It measures 20-1/4" high base is approx 27" wide(including the brass nozzles on sides) and around 10" deep. Old patina to the cast iron top and bottom. I'm sure the colored jewels look pretty when lighted by the interior flames. There is some corrosion on the chimney tubes etc shown in pics. A few small dents on the side and bottom of tube"shown in pics" The gas nozzle seems to function and turn fine. I have no idea of the actual functionality of the piece but very nice antique victorian era heater freshly picked from an old Victorian farm house and barn. I have never seen one quite like it! I purchase this piece about 20 yrs. ago from an antique store in Virginia. The owner said it came out of an old Victoria house in Philidelphia, Pa. Colors are magnificent with a lot of red. And 12 jewels. Very ornate. Frame is original, old white oil based paint on the inside and recent-latex paint on the outside. One flower pedal has a couple slight cracks- see photo. This does not take away from the over all beauty of the glass so I never bothered to have it repaired. However. It wouldn't cost much at all to have it fixed. Antique Seth Thomas Wind-up Wooden Clock. Approx 5-1/2" tall. Has a U-shaped crack in the front cover glass at the 5-6 o'clock position. Also says"Four Jewels" on the clock face right under where the hands attach. Has some minor scratches here and there(be sure to examine the photos carefully for cosmetic condition) but seems to be in pretty good shape over all. I'm not sure about the age. But there is a part of a label on the bottom that reads, Established 1813"but I'm not a clock expert so I have no idea if that is when it was made or if it's telling the history of when Seth Thomas clocks were established.there is too much of this label missing to get proper information from it. Antique French Gilt Bronze Clock w Cockerel. Jewels Antique gilt bronze mantel clock. Made in France, 19th century. Measurements: approximately 7 1/2 inches high. A little over 4 1/8 inches accross the front of the base. The case stands on 4 turned gilded legs. Base of white marble with an inset row of ormolu scrolls in the front. Rectangular steps. Tapering towards a marvellous cockerel/ rooster finial. The rooster being a symbol of France, this clock would have some French significance. Golden gadrooning around the base and at different levels. The front with fantastic applied ormolu flowers and foliage surrounding a protruding ring of paste'diamond' gems which enclose the dial. Above, casket like dome surmounted with the cockerel. Excellent modelling with fine detail of feathers and musculature and one can almost feel him rustling ... morehis tail and crowing. Sides of case are fluted. The dial is Classic French mastery and beauty: white enamel with the numerals. Both Roman and Arab(for the hours and the minutes) in dark, cobalt blue. They are surrounded on the inside by a ring of flower swags- exquisitely enamelled in minute detail. The hands of the dial are also quite lovely- very fine gilt openwork. The mechanism of the clock can be seen behind a glass door. We do not have a key. Nor are we clock experts, but I believe that this clock can be put to work with very little effort because when I moved it, I heard a constant tick tock. The set dates c. 1850-60s and is in excellent condition. A warden jewel is attached to a top bar set sans ribbon. The set is hooked together and each end has scalloped edges. The warden jewel features a crescent moon facing upwards inside a square and compass. A junior warden jewel is also included in the set and features a larger crescent moon facing left inside a square and compass. A tyler jewel is also included and features two crossed swords attached by a curved piece of silver. A cut jump ring is attached to the stationary bail of this jewel. Another top bar is in the set. The original frame has been stripped on both sides but needs a light sanding. It measures 26.5 inches wide. 24.25 tall and is just under 1.5 inches thick. The glass only measures approx. 22 by 20. The center has 2 yellow hand blown roundel jewels and mottled caramel stained glass. To either side are green. Pink, and caramel vines. There are 4 yellow fascet cut jewels. The frame and glass have a semi arched top. The frame is painted on both sides and is in good shape. It measures 42 inches wide by 18 inches tall in the center. 12 at the ends, and is 1.75 inches thick. The glass only is approx. 38.5 by 14.5 and 9.5. Overall it is in good condition. This is a wonderful cobalt Nippon vase that is decorated with hand painted roses. The roses are depicted against a background of gilded decoration. The vase is 9 inches tall and 5 ¼ wide at the widest point. There is gilding on the cobalt but much of it has worn away from time and use. The vase is very vibrant and attractive. Simple but elegant is the best way to describe this oval Victorian piece of art. After seeing this pattern. I changed the design, then added jewels and art glass to improve the overall look and design. It measures 21X15(+- and I have used a background of iridescent glass to complement the jewel tones of the central design. I have taken many pictures to capture the true beauty of this piece. But pictures do not do it justice. It has been tastefully done using the Tiffany method with each piece of glass being cut by hand then soldered together before being bathed with a black patina to give it a truly distinctive and professional look. It is then waxed and polished before being framed with zinc edging to give it added strength for years of secure hanging. Offered is a fantastic 114 piece lot of early brilliant cut crystal chandelier prisms jewel. The lot consists 75 rose cut round jewels with a hole on either end. these measure 7/8 nice wide by 3/4 inch thick. These are cut to a point on both sides. They are brilliant. The 36 petite teardrops measure 1 inch long by 1/2 thick and are cut to a point on both sides as well. these also have holes on 2 holes. The pinning is original and is silver plated copper. Silver has tarnished over the years. These jewels are very old. Approximately 1850-1870s and were more than likely once suspended on an old candle chandelier. The photos do not do these justice.
