KIRK& CO Chicago Green Glass Perfume Bottle- complete with backside 5/8ths Five Eighths Proprietary Battleship Revenue Stamp.Partially covered another stamp that has the word Minneapolis printed on the bottom. I can not see the date on the 5/8 cent stamp but these are a 1898 series stamp. The bottle is a beautiful green glass- the top is molded clear glass with a cork stopper. The top label has the company logo and print that states that the company was Established in 1839. The middle larger paper label is a little faded but says VIOLET WATER REDOLENT WITH SWEET BREATH OF VIOLETS Jas S. Kirk& Co Perfumers Chicago. The bottle itself measures approx 8-3/8" long. This listing is for an antique sterling silver overlay perfume bottle. It measures just a little over 3.5" tall and 2.5" at the widest point. The stopper also has the overlay. Part of the marking is worn off. But it looks like it says: Fine Silver 999 1000. Two of the nines and the F are worn off. The bottom of the bottle is etched with the number 167. The silver has light scratches, and the stopper has a few very tiny chips. Overall, nice condition.

This set was acquired from my family's estate& is preowned. I have no information about it. I do not know what the holder for the bottles is made out of. Maybe a brass. It is of a gold tone color. There is etching on each bottle& etching on the lid of the bottle in the middle. The bottle to the far left is missing the atomizer& it looks like the gold color is worn off here& there. Also the glass tube inside is broken on the bottom& shows corrosion near the top& the bottle is dirty inside. There is a gilt brass collar around the neck of the bottle, a perfectly fitting ground& polished black glass stopper, and a genuine BAKELITE stopper cover imbedded with"gold dust" all original to the bottle. The condition is excellent and impeccable in every way. Except for a small flake on the underside of the beveled base edge(see photo) This mar measures about 3mm across, and cannot be seen at all when the bottle is standing. An interesting side-light is that the Lentheric"Miracle" scent held in this bottle was inspired by a pantomime"The Miracle" staged by Max Reinhardt and starring Lady Diana Manners in 1911. I have seen this same bottle in advertisements for other Lentheric scents Le Matin Au Bois. And Au Fil De L'eau. This is a book piece. Seen in books covering the history of major perfume and scent bottles. In addition, its image can be seen in advertising from magazines of that time period. Beautiful Antique glass perfume bottle w Etched 5 petal flowers crystal stopper
This is a lovely etched perfume bottle that I found in my grandmother's attic in a trunk back in the 1990's. It has an etched floral design on two side of the bottle and the flower has 5 petals. The other two sides are the leaves for the flowers. It measures 6 3/4 inches tall including the stopper. The stopper is a wonderful round crystal piece with many facets. At the base of the stopper right before the part that fits into the bottle it has 7 panels. Right below the rim of the bottle there are also 7 panels. The stopper fits perfectly into the bottle and with the matching of the number of facets I believe they were meant to be together. The glass the bottle is made of has a wonderful feel to it as in fine glass. It has no chips or cracks and no staining.

Antique 5" Bohemian Czech Art Cameo Glass Perfume Bottle w/ Cut Glass Stopper
If you're a collector of art glass then you know you've come across something special in this Bohemian Czech perfume bottle! Bohemian art glass was made in what is now the Czech Republic and Austria in the early twentieth century. This example is cut-to-clear or cameo glass and has a white glass exterior that is cut through with eight ovals or teardrops to show the underlying cranberry-colored glass. The white glass is decorated with hand-painted blue. Red, purple, and pink flowers. The rim of the bottle is scalloped and accented in gold. The stopper is clear cut glass and has a turreted hexagonal shape with small bubbles visible in the glass. We're not sure if this is the original stopper, but this is how it came from the estate; it fits, and is the correct shape for a stopper for a Bohemian glass perfume bottle. The perfume ... morebottle measures 5.5" in height(with stopper; 3.25" in height without stopper) 3 7/8" in diameter, and with a neck that is 2 5/8" diameter. The piece is unmarked, which is typical for Bohemian glass. It is in very good antique condition, with no cracks or repairs, and only some typical wear in the gilding and some minor scratches and nicks from use and handling over the past century. Antique Victorian Perfume Bottle attributed to Baccarat. Circa 1900-1920 5" Tall. Excellent condition with normal signs of age and original flaws in the glass. Polished bottom and top. The red is a cranberry enamel stain on the glass. Numbered stopper matches bottle. Normal chips on the inside of the stopper and scratch pattern on base. This is quite old. A nice variety of different perfume bottles. They are in good condition for their age. A couple of some chips. No cracks that I can see. Two are France. The large round one is marked on the bottom, bottle made in France, it does have a flake chip under the stopper. The fan type has a tag, Intoxication D'Orsay Paris France, no chips or cracks that I can see. There is one with a paper lable, Triple Extract Wood Violets Perfumes, missing a stopper, also no chips or cracks that I can see. There is one bottle,that could be part of a candy container or was used as a perfume bottle, it's very old, mid to late 1800's. It has an applied top, it does have some chiiggers on top. And there is a cute minature perfume bottle, no chips or cracks that I can see. The sizes range from 1 3/4" tall to 5 3/4" tall. A neat collection of different type perfume bottles. In good condition for their age. See pictures. The oldest is the purple or amethyst perfume. It is a hand blown bottle with a pontil mark on the bottom. There are 2 Irice or I.W. Rice perfume bottles, both have ground tops and stoppers. Both in very good condition, no chips or cracks that I can see. The last ones, picture7& 8) are no names, they both could use a little cleaning, they still have perfume residue. The one on the left has a neat celluloid top with a glass dabber/stopper. The atomizer on the other still works fine, needs cleaning. All of these came out of my mother in laws estate. Very nice vintage antique lot of 5 items. cut crystal, etched crystal, hand painted floral bottle with blue stopper(Puntoarte, Made in Italy) cut glass jar with lid(tiny chip on edge) pin or trinket tray(some minor scratches from use) The bottle with atomizer needs a new squeeze bulb. The bottle with inverted etched and acid etched flowers has ground stopper and needs better cleaning of the inside of bottle. Please ask questions.

Beautiful collection of old perfume bottles. They display beautifully. Condition is not perfect. There are some very minor nicks here and there on the edges that are nearly impossible to photograph. One of the stoppers is broken(photo 3) another stopper(photo 10) looks like it might not be 100% The atomizer ball is dried out. The two smallest bottles I think are fully functional.
