Here is a fantastic green glass perfume with silver overlay; it is antique. But has never yet been monogrammed; it is very pretty and free of any damage. It is one of three great little antique glass treasures listed. It has original stopper, which is also in fine condition. Total height is about 4" tall. Base is about 1' and widest belly about 2 1/2" Fabulous patina on silver, over top of the perfect shade of green; this bottle looks amazing in cabinet or on dresser for Valentines day. Sterling overlay. The Design on each includes a flower Iris or Daffodil? and a Solid Silver plate with ornamental“vines” Beautiful! The other one has a part of a flower missing(Picture with the frosty looking outline shows the missing silver) It was hard to get great pictures without glare and reflections and shadows. These are not marks on the Silver or bottle. But like I mentioned. Silver needs to be polished, so there are tarnished marks, Patina? The Top rims are also slightly different. One has a little wider cover lip. The Stoppers are complete. One has a“fracture” Bottom of stem, but it seems to be internal. Both have chipping/fleabites along stem bottoms. The One Stopper with the“fracture” was hand-blown and is hollow. The other Stopper is Solid. Each are similar size but have a little different shape. These two really complement each other. This came from a collection kept in the garage for years by my brother-in-law who was a practicing doctor as was his father and grandfather before him. He died at age 93. I know very little else about it except that it is sturdy. Thick glass with an indentation for a label. The stopper fits nice and snug. They both look to be from the early 20th century. Beautiful 40 piece lot of old pressed and cut glass decanter/perfume/cruet stoppers. There is a nice large variety here. This was a great estate find! There are all kinds of shapes. Sizes, and colors. Great for any collectors. Some have some rough edges to the stopper end that does not show when you have it in the bottle. One amber does have a larger chip, it is shown in the last picture. Please look at all of the pictures closely. The largest measures 2 3/4" high by 2" wide. The smallest is 1 1/8" high by 1" wide. Each bottle is triangular shaped and fits perfectly into its own section in the black leather case. The glass bottles are cranberry, green, clear and yellow. Each has a facetted stopper, but I think that one of stoppers may be a replacement. The leather strap on the back of the case is, unfortunately, broken but could easily be repaired with some leather glue. This auction is for an Antique Victorian Perfume Bottle. This piece is Forest Green Glass and has a glass stopper that is shaped like a crown. The bottle is a forest green glass and fits nicely into a small purse that fits the perfume bottle perfectly. It is a pale brown leather and shows normal signs of wear. The bottle is mint the stopper has a couple of tiny chips on the base of the stopper. The top of the stopper has no damage. It is a very small purse size piece. It is trimmed out in gold and the clasp on the purse latches properly. The leather of the purse is soft and supple. It is 4" long. The bottle is 3" tall. It is a large rounded cut crystal bottle with a sterling silver hinged top and a glass stopper. The cut is beautiful and there is a 12 point star on the bottom. I tried to research the hallmark and will share what I found with you. If I'm wrong. You are more than welcome to return the bottle for a full refund as long as it is in the exact same condition as when I send it to you. The metal top is a raised floral pattern and has no dents. The shield looks like it has 3 identical shapes inside it and the rectangle next to the shield also has a shape inside. I'm pretty sure that the ground glass stopper is the original one and it is in excellent condition and fits beautifully. The hinged top and collar have no dents. Cracks or repairs and the hinge works perfectly. It clicks when you close it. This lovely bottle measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 11" in circumference. When held to the light, I noticed a couple of small spots on the bottom and one on a clear panel but think that they are manufacturer flaws.they do not have a rough feel at all but I did want to mention it. Early Chinese Paperweight Perfume Bottle embedded with flowers and various colored glass designs. Estimated time frame is 1950's. China is hand scratched onto the bottom of bottles. Hard to find but- authenticity is there. Height of bottle is about 5.5 inches. Diameter on bottom is 2 and 3/4 inch. Thick glass. Heavy. About 10.5 inches around the middle circumference. Antique Cut Glass Sterling Top Perfume Bottle with red stone center
8 photos posted. Pretty antique lay down(or stand up) perfume bottle. The glass vial is cut in a rib pattern bordered by a cross hatch design at the bottom and the top. The glass is in excellent antique condition showing only a faint trace of fogging and a tiny nibble on one of the ribs. On a scale of 0 to 10 I'd give it a 9.5 The flip top is marked sterling under the hinge which is in perfect shape. The cap snaps on tightly. It has an octogon shape and a red pointy stone in the center. I assume it is glass. The point is still intact. No chip there. But the inside stopper is lost. The sterling is quite heavy, so there are no dents. It is monogrammed with the initials dM.L. Dimensions: 3 3/8" long and almost 3/4" across. The item comes from a smoke-free home but I have a cat. Fabulous cut vaseline glass bottle with silver cap.probably sterling although not marked. Excellent condition. But needing a pin for the lid/hinge otherwise great. Great color and sharp sharp work. Measures about 3 1/8" tall and 1 1/2" wide. Very solid for its size. The whole of it is cut and faceted. Insurance always included in shipping. antique Victorian MOURNING TEAR CATCHER lachrymatory Glass VIAL w ORIG Stopper
Offered for auction is an old Victorian glass vial with its original stopper. These are called lachrymatories or tear catchers. From what I've researched there are several stories to go along with these. The most common one is during the Victorian era. At a more upscale funeral these vials were handed out to save the tears you've shed for the deceased. When the tears are collected in the vial, the stopper would be put in. Once the tears completely evaporated meant the end of the mourning period. This vial is found in great condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 7" with the stopper. 6 3/4" without. Some of the gold guild is gone, and some faded. The stopper is original to this vial. It looks like the end of it is a bit rough, it may have a small piece broken off. Two sides of this vial have x's that are etched ... morein and trimmed in gold. Also on those same sides in-between the x's are indentions for your fingers. ANTIQUE CRANBERRY GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE, GILT AND BEADED DESIGN 4 1/4 INCHES TALL
Beautiful little antique perfume bottle in clear cranberry glass with beaded and gilt design. Bottle stands approximately 4 1/4 inches tall. It is approximately 2 inches in diameter at its widest point. All parts still intact. Atomizer bulb is stiff with age and probably needs to be replaced. We don't know about the other parts. Some beads are missing or broken. A few scratches in the glass. Some dirt inside bottle. Teeny tiny damage to gilt circle around base. However. Overall, bottle is in very good condition for its age. Description Welcome to my Auction. For a lovely Antique Victorian- Solid silver& cranberry glass. Scent/ perfume bottle. Circa 1880. The beautiful pyramid/trapezoid shaped. 4 flat sided cranberry glass is in lovely condition. I can see no nibbles to the glass even through an eye glass& under close scrutiny. The solid silver flip up lid& hinge works well& shuts with a nice click. There is a cork in the lid so would not have had a glass stopper. The lid is decorated with beautiful repousse silver work. Absolutely stunning. The scent bottle Measures approx- 8.5cms or 3.3 inches in height. Weighs- 42.2 grams. A lovely little scent bottle which has clearly been treasured& looked after as its wonderful condition shows. With gentle surface marks& a couple of small manufacturing marks/bubbles in the glass from the hand blown ... moreprocess which adds to its charm. There are some slight residue marks to the inside of the glass. Nothing that detracts. Please do see my photographs which act as part of my description. Feel free to ask any questions.
