Sterling overlay. The Design on each includes a flower Iris or Daffodil? and a Solid Silver plate with ornamental“vines” Beautiful! Both need to be polished and interiors cleaned as they have Cloudiness. Moisture residue, build up inside. I did not want to risk doing any damage to these pieces so I left them As-Is. One has a little wider cover lip. The Stoppers are complete. One has a“fracture” Bottom of stem, but it seems to be internal. Both have chipping/fleabites along stem bottoms. The One Stopper with the“fracture” was hand-blown and is hollow. The other Stopper is Solid. Each are similar size but have a little different shape. These two really complement each other. Lovely Vintage Rainbow Glass Blue Decanter/Perfume Bottle with Stopper
This is a lovely vintage Rainbow Glass Small Decanter or Perfume Bottle. The color on this one is an eye popping blue. It would have been made between the 40's and 60's. It measures 8" high with the stopper in. As with any of my stoppered or lidded items. I cannot guarantee that this is the stopper that started life with this piece but it came to me as a set, matches and will come to you that way. It bears the maker's sticker on the front. There is a pontil present on the underside. I find no chips or cracks on the bottle. There are a couple of tiny flakes off the bottom edge of the stopper where it sits inside the piece but you do not see this with the stopper in the piece. Far nicer in person than I could capture in a photo. Buyer to pay $8.80 domestic shipping which also includes delivery confirmation. Vintage Antique? Silver Tone Small Ornate Flower Perfume Bottle - Glass Stopper
I don't really know anything about this piece. It appears to be a small metal perfume bottle with a glass stopper. There is a raised design on it that has flowers and leaves at the top and just some pretty designs towards the bottom half. I cannot get the top off and would be scared of breaking it to try too hard. So I cannot tell you what's inside, but it doesn't slosh or anything. I do not know if it is sterling silver or just a silver tone metal. It could be marked on the rim, but since I cannot get the top off, It does show some patina. And I wonder if at some time it had some kind of decorative cap over the glass stopper. It is fairly heavy and measures about 2 1/4 inches high. Seems to be in pretty good shape. Thanks for looking. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a GREEN GLASS Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver Overlay and Matching Stopper. The sterling overlay is in a nice Art Nouveau design. No missing sterling overlay to the glass bottle but there is a tiny split in the overlay on the stopper which may represent a small piece missing. It's hard to tell and I never even noticed it until I inspected it closely for selling. There are a couple very small cracks in the neck and one thin hairline in the glass bottle towards the bottom half. Again. Due to the silver overlay it is very hard to see but I did try to photgraph it for you. The bottle does hold water so the hairline is obviously not entirely through the glass and just on the inside as it is smooth on the outside. The sterling overlay is of good ... morethickness and quality. It is also very secure and tight to the bottle. It does have a blank cartouche for engraving- there is no monogram. The stopper is in excellent condition with only a little roughness on the end but no chips or cracks.
