Vtg Mini Perfume Bottle/Powder Compact Combo In Goldtone Case Blue/Clear Stone
Here we have a unique miniature combination perfume bottle/ compact with blue/ clear stones. The set measures approx. 2" tall by 1 5/16" wide by 1 5/16" depth. The combination perfume/compact have blue and white oblong stones on front and on top of lid of the perfume bottle- mirror on inside of mini compact with another mirror on the outside of perfume bottle- compact does have the powder puff inside the compact. The perfume bottle is glass with a gold tone metal case. The compact case is also gold tone metal with matching stones to coordinate with stone on top of perfume bottle. The perfume is long gone but still has a strong scent of perfume that it once held. The gold tone on compact/ perfume bottle show some variance in color(as shown) so I am wondering if at one time the combination/ duo compact/ bottle were separate and ... moresomeone put the 2 together as one or if this is indeed the way it was made as one. There is damage to the top of one perfume stopper. No other damage. There are some natural imperfections in the glass made in manufacture, photo#4 shows a line in the glass powder jar side. The perfume measures 6" high with good stopper, the powder jar is 5.75" high. They are not marked. All items I sell are vintage and most are antique. None are perfect. Total height is 7" diameter of jar is 4 1/2" Two old paper labels on base of jar: Naturelle' and'John Wanamaker New York' Condition of vaseline glass is very close to excellent- just a'nick' to edge of jar's inner rim(see photo 3; not visible when lid is on) and a 5/8" scratch to underside of base. Blue Powder Jar & Perfume Bottle Bohemia Glass Made In Czechoslavakia LABEL
Up for bid is this perfume bottle and vanity dish/powder jar. This is vintage. Probably art deco period. I collected vanity items, and I am thinning out my collection. Bottle has original label, it is faded but you can read Bohemia and Made in Czechoslovakia. Beautiful Ice blue. The base of the jar, I do not see anything wrong with it, no chips or cracks or fleabites. It is perfect looking to my eye. The lid is near perfect with the exception of one tiny sliver on the inside of the rim. The outside of the rim is perfect to my eye. Its a beautiful dish. The perfume bottle has no chips or cracks, the glass itself is perfect. The atomizer is missing and the tube is inside the bottle. There is also some residue inside the bottle. Both jar and bottle are oval shape. The dish measures 4 1/2 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide. It stands about 3 1/2 ... moreinches tall. The bottle is a tad bit smaller, and stands about the same height. I was a collector, I am not an expert. I used them for display. What I did was put a ball atomizer inside the perfume bottle. This lovely Art Deco set of perfume bottle and the powder box was made by hand by manufacturer Curt Schlevogt from malachite glass in Czechoslovakia/ Bohemia in 1930's. Very nice condition. Vintage Deco Vanity Gold Encrusted Fostoria Glass Perfume Bottle Top Powder Box
Unique vintage glass vanity piece from the 1920's to 1930's era with typical Art Deco style. The round powder box is 4 1/2" across and 1 1/4" deep. The cover has a perfume bottle as a finial on top that is about 7" high to top of the prism cut glass stopper. The dauber has a broken tip and is chipped on top. The box is decorated with gold encrusted decoration on clear glass with a dusty rose or mauve color underneath. There is a smooth old chip under the lid that feels like it must have been there for years and does not show on top. I can email more photos if you need them. For your consideration: Antique Silver Lid& Cut Crystal Powder Dresser Jar Perfume Bottle Vanity Set C. 1890 set of four Dresser Vanity Jars and perfume bottles. All lids are silver tone. Some have minor denting and age appropriate scuffing. The tallest bottle measures 6 3/8 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It has light surface scuffing. But no chips or damage otherwise. The perfume bottle has a domed lid with original stopper. The lid screws into bottle and measures 4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It also has light wear and no chipping or damage. Still has perfume smell. The round jar measures 1 3/4 inches tall and 2 inches in diamter. The lid has some discoloring of the silver. But otherwise very good. The rectangular jar has mild surface scratches and measures 3 3/8 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide. Overall this ... moreis a very nice set!
