Vintage Signed Baccarat Perfume Bottle from Guerlain of Paris. Mitsouko brand This is a British auction: PLEASE WAIT FOR THE IMAGES TO LOAD: Description This is an excellent example of a Guerlain of Paris glass perfume bottle. Guerlain is one of the oldest perfumeries in the world. Dating back to 1828. The bottle is made by Baccarat- one of the most significant art glassmakers in France. Often associated with high-quality antique paperweights. Judging by the stamp it would appear that this bottle dates from after 1936. The bottle is deceptively heavy and made in high-quality lead crystal. The stopper is like an inverted hollow heart-shape. Both the bottle and stopper are hand-engraved with the number'30' meaning they were ground together as a pair and matched for fitting. Around the neck of the bottle is a small decorative string ... morewith the seal of Guerlain attached. The label is complete with just mild surface rubbing. But otherwise clear. A very old. Well made bottle for the Guerlain Eau De Toilette fragrance Apres L' Ondee. Measuring a bit over 6 1/2 inches tall. 2 1/2 wide and 1 1/2 inches deep, this bottle still holds a small amount of perfume. The address on the bottle is 15 Rue De La Paix Paris. The bottle has a beautiful round stopper. Appears to be blown glass with a bubble or hollow center. The stopper seems stuck, however, I have not attempted to force it out. The back of the bottle is embossed with an angel, arrows, leaves, and words. I can see Depose, 15 Rue De La Paix Paris, Marque de Fabrique(under the back label) that are also embossed in raised letters. Please view all 10 photos. The labels are darkened with age and have some losses. The bottle looks to be molded in 2 parts. At an angle, visible from the top. This is a small bottle measuring 3.25" in height(including topper) and just slightly over 2" with the topper off. Width is 1 and 7/8" at its widest. Depth is 1.25" at its deepest. Label is in very good condition. Still has the tassel attached to the topper. The bottle is empty. I didn't see any chips to the bottle or the topper. Has some perfume residue at neck of bottle and in the base of the inside. But I didn't attempt to clean it as the new owner may wish for the perfume remains to be there. I believe it is quite old.perhaps to be from the 30's or 40's based on the other items that were obtained from this particular estate sale, but I can't be for certain. Lovely little ... morebottle! No chips or cracks that I could find. This has a plunger type applicator. The third bottle measures about 3 inches at widest point and stands about 3-1/2 inches high. Not sure if there was anything else on top-I have no idea. There is a paper label on bottom that says Made in USA, there is also a very small paper clover leaf label on side that says Made in Austria, a little conflict where this item was made. Guerlain Marechale Rue De La Paix No 15 Paris Parfume in original antique mold blown Baccarat bottle. This bottle is nearly full. Based on descriptions of previous listings this is quite a nice size. The stopper is intact and with gentle pressure and a warm rag I have not been able to budge it. I do not intend to force it; I would keep it forever before I would do that. A fragrance can be detected around the front and back labels which were within the plastic wrap that was protecting the bottle when we discovered it.
