c1890 French ART NOUVEAU Silver CHATELAINE Perfume / Scent Bottle -Floral Design
From a local estate- Beautiful c1890 Silver Perfume or Scent bottle with repousse Art Nouveau floral design. The hallmarks are very tiny and difficult to read- 2 at the bottom edge and one on the lid or cap near the hinge(see last two photos) I believe they are French. The bottle contains its original tiny ground glass stopper and has a ring on the back for attaching to a chatelaine. Heavy for its size- will not easily dent. Weighs 18.8 grams. Measures 2 3/8 tall. Has a gold vermeil or gold wash inside the cap and stopper area. The bottle is in very good condition with few signs of wear. I found a few tiny dents- nothing that detracts or is easily noticed. I guarantee it to be silver and not plated. The last two photos have a yellowish tint but that is just the way the light reflects and NOT there in real life. She is wearing a beautiful blue lustre ware gown with a white panel in the font that is trimmed in white ruffly gathered lace. Two forest green bows are tied on each side of the front of her gown. Scrolling foliate and petite flowers encompass the silver lid and collar. A blank cartouche tops the hinged lid, opening to reveal a gilt vermeil interior and a cut glass stopper. Hallmarked with the wild boar's head, a French standard for.800/1000 silver. The mark was typically used on small objects of at least 80% pure silver content, close to.925 sterling. It looks like a cut glass it is so sharp This is in a lovely vibrant blue There are no cracks or chips or nicks on this piece It measures 8cms wide by 4cms deep and is 8cms in height to the top of the stopper. Circa 1880 In wonderful condition. Not hallmarked as was so typical with these Antique Victorian scent bottles. The beautiful flat tubular glass is in lovely condition. The blue bottle is the most wonderful colour being the deepest of the cobalt shades with a hint of purple. With no chips or nibbles. The solid silver screw on lid has heavy repousse silver work of flowers& leaves. Absolutely stunning. I can feel a slight indentation to the lid where the tip of my finger rests when unscrewing the lid. This is very hard to see due to the ornate decoration to the lid. I mention for total accuracy. The bottle has a fantastic repousse sterling ornamented top/lid and base with a clear cut glass. The sterling lid top has a STERLING 925 mark. Antique Victorian Mother-of-Pearl Scent Bottle, 1800s
Tiny Vanity Item– Adorable! Here is a beautiful very old scent bottle made of mother-of-pearl with brass mounts. Including chain and finger ring. The crown-shaped stopper has a cork insert for the bottle which is present but has dried over the years and no longer fits tightly. Even the tiny dangle at the bottom of the pearl is adorable. Size is 3-1/2 inches long(bottle and stopper together) Lovely condition for its age except showing some wear to the pearl bottle on one side. Which is shown in the second picture.

A superb and very beautiful amethyst glass and silver gilt scent bottle from France. And dating from about 1860. The silver gilt mounts are finely engraved with foliage. And there is a fitted glass stopper. The body of the scent is elegantly shaped and the whole is beautifully designed and worked. The condition is excellent. Hinge is good. As is closure. The stopper fits perfectly. There are no dents in the silver gilt which is a lovely shade of pale gold. I can find no chips to the glass either. All together a wonderful scent to have in the hand. Measuring just 4" in length.

This tiny scent bottle is a truly beautiful cobalt blue color in very good condition! It has nicks on the top and a very few tiny nicks to the cut glass edges. Please look at all photo's closely. Overall. It's in really great shape. I believe this scent bottle must be at least 100 years old and probably older. I would not be at all surprised if it were made in the late 1800's but it is NOT marked. The glass is hand cut and the lines are imperfect. The sterling top is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or splits. The cork inside is intact and whole. I can still smell a hint of whatever perfume used to be kept in it. This is a lot of three Larger one is a Laugharne Green Glass Scent Bottle with Silver Overlay it is signed and numbered and in perfect condition. This one is NOT an antique, it measures 6 and 1/2 inches high with the stopper and 1 and 3/4 inches wide. The two smaller ones are antiques and both have issues. There is denting on the tops of both ane one has the original stopper and the second is a cork. In addition both have cracking and chipping on the ribbing of the tops of the bottles. The silver on the bottles is in very good condition and is stamped. One bottle has a crown on the bottom and the second one is stamped 312. They measure just 2 and 1/2 inches tall and one inch wide. ANTIQUE FRENCH CUT CRYSTAL PERFUME/SCENT BOTTLE IN GILDED CASKET
Here I have a gorgeous antique French perfume casket. The set includes four cut crystal bottles with faceted stoppers. The bottles rest in a gilded casket with a flower swag design. The cut bottles are are 1 3/4 inch square and just under 4 1/2 inches tall to top of faceted stopper. The casket base is aprox 4.25 inch square. For those of you who collect these caskets you must realize this is a large example. I would say this set is in very nice antique condition. One stopper is frozen in place and I would just leave it that way as you do not want to crack the neck off. I cleaned 3 of the bottles with the free stoppers and they display well with mild residue. The forth bottle with the frozen stopper has more and this can be seen in the photos. Some small edge nicks& stopper tip nicks. As you can see this is a very nice set and displays ... morevery well. Antique Blown Glass Figural Reindeer Narcisse Perfume Scent Bottle Xmas Ornament
Offered here for your bidding evaluation is this whimsical antique figural blown glass reindeer Narcisse perfume bottle! Standing 31/2" tall. The delicate glass deer has antlers, ears and a muzzle painted in gold. An embossed Narcisse paper label can be seen on the back of the creature. Traces of the perfume can be seen inside. Hard to believe that this fragile little hand blown beauty is still fully intact and without any breaks, though the tiny cork stopper has gone missing. There is an old cardboard box bottom that will be included with the scent bottle(not pictured) The box bottom is stained, bent, and has splits and tears. As to the deer, the glass is perfect but there is wear to the gold paint around the muzzle. I have seen several of these bottles holding various kinds of perfume. These may have been offered around the holiday ... moretime, and likely the empty bottle could be saved and used as a Christmas decoration long after the contents were gone. Pleased to offer: antique 1880s Scent Casket 3 glass perfume bottle fitted box vanity dresser This scent casket measures about 5-1/4 inches tall. 6-1/2 inches long, and 3 inches deep. The latch is marked, Patent Aug 13, 1878. Contains three glass bottles that have a matching etched pattern. This perfume box has seen better days. The leather covering is pealing up in places and is missing around the top. One rear leg is missing the ball foot, the beveled glass window has a chip, and each of the three bottles have chips too(1st- large chip on rim and looks like other chip ground/polished out. 2nd- chips on the points of the shoulder. 3rd- small chip on the shoulder. It could still find a good home in someone's collection.

Up for auction is this 18TH century ANTIQUE clear SCENT/PERFUME BOTTLE/VIAL excavated in the outskirts of TRENTON NEW JERSEY at a building site. this was in all likelyhood made and lost or dumped before trenton was founded in 1790.this type of peice could be as early as 1720s.But not past 1790s the freeholders of new jersey would meet yearly to disscuss local politics and money,before trenton was even made capital city. these were no doubt aristocrates,polititians and major landowners of the time period. i know little of antique bottles,so any further questions are pointless.bottle is about 6 inches long and has some damage at the opening. i beleive its glass. anyway, PAYPAL ONLY! BEAUTIFUL BLUE PRESSED GLASS VINTAGE PERFUME COLOGNE SCENT BOTTLE with FAN STOPPER W/ ATTACHED GLASS DAUBER Very pretty old bottle. Only identifying mark is a barely visable clear sticker on the bottom that I think reads Made in Japan. The bottle has been used because there is a slight bit of residue on the bottom in one of the corners. The bit of damage I find is a small chip on the stopper. You can see it in picture#2. The bottle stands 3-1/2" tall with the stopper and 2" without it. The bottle is 2-1/4" at its widest point. This is a very pretty bottle with the glass dauber still attached to the stopper. Vintage IW Rice Irice Jeweled Perfume Scent Cologne Frosted Coin Dot (?) Bottle
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING I. W. RICE or IRICE AMBER COLORED PERFUME BOTTLE I will call this gorgeous amber glass pattern Coin Dot since I don't know the real name of it. I will let my pictures do the describing of it. It is truly unique! The top of the bottle(or plunger) is adorned with a spray of five golden flowers. Each flower has a lovely amber rhinestone in the center of it. These flowers are circled around a large amber colored crystal cut stone. The rhinestones and the crystal cut stone are nice and sparkly. This is one of Irice's Presto Mist Bulbless Atomizers. The atomizer DOES work. The bottle with plunger stands 5-1/4" tall. And 3-1/4" without the plunger. It is 2" across the base. There are some chips around the bottom edge. I tried to get pictures but they didn't come out too good. WHEN I FIRST FOUND THIS LITTLE BOTTLE I HAD NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS. THE TOP SEPARATED FROM THE BOTTOM AND I FOUND OUT IT CONTAINED BEESWAX[SEE PICTURE] I STARTED TO POLISH THE TOP BRASS PIECE AND WHEN I REMOVED IT I GOT A VERY STRONG PERFUME SCENT. SO I THINK MAYBE THE BEESWAX GOES ON THE PERSON AND THEN YOU APPLY THE PERFUME OIL TO YOUR PERSON WITH THE LITTLE STOPPER.
