Old colorful vintage 1941 school map. Large size of the world physical-political, edited by V.C. Finch, Professor of Geography, University of Wisconsin, Equatorial Scale, 1:25,344,000 of 400 miles to the inch. Van der Grinten Projection. Published by A.J. Nystrom& Co. Chicago. This map was cut and mounted on oil cloth so it could fold and was portable and it has metal brass grommets on the top so it could be hung as was typical of the time for classrooms. Neat old one. Has some brown paint splotch on the back. But at least it doesn’t show on the front. Neat big one for your wall. Colorful. Definitely used condition. Not pristine, but has a lot of character. Has dark spots on back. Possibly mildew, not sure, but will leave this to next owner. Still usable display condition. Was used in Texas classroom. Vintage 1958 United States Rand McNally Allstate Vacationland Map Excellent!!
Rand McNally Vacationland Map of the United States. Lithographed in USA. Copyright by RAND McNally and Company. The map has never been pinned. Hung up or used. Has been in the same envelope recieved in for 54 years. Measurements are 52" x 32" That map has some oxidation due to the age on the back of the 3 squares of the back of the map. Turning it over and looking at the front side, the oxidation shows on the very edge. No pinholes or holes bottom edge has slight tear as pictured. Most of the front of the map looks as though it is in excellent condition with the exception of the slight oxidation and small tear. Please email with questions. Thanks for looking. c.1930s Pictorial Cartoon Radio Map of Columbia Broadcasting System CBS Vintage
This is an original vintage pictorial map showing CBS radio stations around the United States. This map was designed as a direct mail advertising piece and folds out to about 20" x 13" The map is printed one side only with a decorative border that reads A RADIO MAP OF THE COLUMBIA BROADCASTING SYSTEM- SHOWING CBS STATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. This map was issued as an advertising piece by the House of Gurney in Yankton. South Dakota which was a seed and nursey company. The map isn't dated but shows a cartoon of man in Canada pusing a stroller with five babies which I presume is a reference to the Dionne Quintuplets which were born in 1934 and topical when this map was printed. This map shows the location and call letters of about 100 CBS radion stations with each state having cartoon embellisments such as Hillbillies ... morein Kentucky, Cowboys in Texas, Hula Girl in Hawaii, Man Drinking Beer in Wisconsin, Coal Miner in Pennsylvania and more. Cram USA School Map Vintage Huge Colorful Pull Down Roller Map United States
Roll down school map like the teacher rolled down in front of the chalkboard. Huge 64 inches wide by 50 inches deep. That's just the map information area. 48 States plus Hawaii and Alaska too. Both poles are well attached, a little bit of the laminate is coming off one side on the bottom. Has a few stains, shows wear and use in some places, no real tears I don't think. Bright colors. The one of the world shows the political boundaries of each country and the United States map shows the states and their capitals. It's in very good used condition. The backside of the map does have some marks but they are not readily visible when the map is installed as they are on the back and top of the roll. There are a couple of small(1/2” or so) marks on the front of the map which might be possible to remove buy the winning bidder. The third and final thing is there is a small quarter size tear in the bottom of the lower map near the wood. It is an easy repair with strong clear tape on each side of the map. The surface of this map measures about ... more65" across and is about 53" tall. It also includes the built in mounting bracket so it's ready to install. Denoyer-Geppert social science map a-14 MEXICAN WAR AND COMPROMISE OF 1850 Dated 1967. The length is 43.5"x 33.5" Printed on a canvas with wood rods. Has some marks due to age. Up for bids is a colorful lithographed 1933 vintage map by Bernard Corvinus entitled"The Nation's Resources" showing the 48 states with text inside each state's boundries listing the major resources that state has. The map has previously been folded into quarters& will be shipped that way. The overall size is 25" wide x 17.5" tall and the image size is 20" x 12.5" As for condition: the outer edges of the margins on all four sides have some tears with the lower margin being the most ragged with all of the damage being within the first 1 1/4" of the outer edge of the margin- see last 3 photos for views of the damage; the map image itself has no damage. For anyone that wants to see want the States and Territories looked like back in 1922. This set of maps is for you. They are all here- Alaska(OK. It wasn't a state back then. But it was a territory) Florida, New York, Maine, Vermont, California, Hawaii(see Alaska) Puerto Rico, even the Philippine Islands. You get them all. The maps are from Collier's New World Atlas and Gazetteer published in 1922. Not reprints. They are however, double sided(so if you are using them for crafts or to frame you can't use all of them) These maps would look great framed or as the centerpiece of an altered art project. Most of the maps measures approximately 9" x 11" But some are a bit smaller, and are on a 10.5" x 15" page.

Rare Vintage United States Air Mail Map 1939 HTF
Rare and HTF 1939 US Post Office Department Air Mail Service map for domestic and foreign routes. WOW what a great find these were only issued to the post offices and are very rare to find. The condition is excellent some minor wrinkles and a small 2.5" tear in the South America map in the lower right hand corner. Some minor foxing on the edges of course due to age. Remember this map is near 80 years old and is paper. The map is mounted on a foam board with a thin plastic sheet over it to protect it. Map is bordered in red. White and blue with airplanes in the four corners colors are still nice and bright. This map measures 24"x36" and is a full size map. Please check out the photos as they are part of the description. Vintage 1990 Royal Caribbean Poster Map Chart Cruise Ships Voyages Spanish Main
Here is one of the nicer souvenirs from a cruise: A Un-Marked Chart. Or map. Of the West Indies. Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and surrounding waters distributed by the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. The map promotes 5 Cruise ships and I believe provides for your own charting of the ports-of-call and routes of your ship. The map is done in an antique-like sepia tone and only the countries. Seas, and continents are labeled, allowing plenty of space for your own notations. This map dates from about 1990. At the bottom of the print are line drawings of 5 cruise ships of the Royal Caribbean Line with the individual statistics for each ship. Below these drawings is an area for the passenger to indicate his or her own experiences with sailing on board one or more of these vessels. The geography of the area depicted on the map is that area once called ... morethe" Spanish Main" essentially the Caribbean. The Gulf of Mexico, the Central Atlantic off Florida, and(although it isn't labeled; I wish it were) the Bermuda Triangle. This is a quality map reminiscent of earlier pictorial maps. It is printed on heavy stock paper in tan and sepia colors. No illustrator is indicated. But it is fully illustrated, not photographed. It is a poster map of a nice mid-size: 18 1/2" x 22 1/2" It is in very good to excellent condition with no markings. Blemishes, water spots, or folding. At the right center along the edge, there is a slight rip of about 1/8" There is some crinkling along parts of the edge, but nothing affecting the printed surface. It is rolled as originally and will be shipped rolled in a tube. A nice commemorative/pictorial map with some vintage on it. No international bidders- except Canada- please. Here is a very colorful. And I think, one of the better pictorial or illustrated maps concerning the Centennial of the Civil War that proliferated in the 1961-1965 period- actually. This map is also one of the first maps published for the Civil War Centennial, dated 1956. This map is called" A Picture Map of The Civil War" It was published by Grosset& Dunlap. New York. And as it says in the lower right border, in conjunction with'The Civil War' by Otto Eisenschimi. Ralph Newman, and E. B. Long" Apparently an epic book of that time. The illustrator is not indicated, but he or she was a good one; the little vignettes remind me of the work of Norm Saunders who drew the illustrations for the Topps Bubble Gum Cards famous"Civil War News" set. This map clearly shows the territory of the United States and the ... moreConfederate States. Except the West Coast. It is very colorful with at least 10 colors. The map is well marked and illustrated, but not cluttered with geographical items or place names irrelevant to the intent of the map, whose purpose is to show major campaigns of and persons connected to the Civil War. The map is dominated by eight 4" x 4 1/2" vignettes or story-illustrations along the right and left borders of the map. I show the entire map with plenty of overlap in the 12 photos posted. The map is 23" x 30" It is in very good to excellent shape(please read the Description Section where I go into detail about its condition) The map is folded. As originally, into 8 equal sections. It is printed on heavy stock paper, heavier than resume paper and it has yellowed only slightly. Two of the sections. On the back side, are a little dirty because they have been exposed when the map is folded. The legend of the map provides a narrative of 76 important Civil War events. I believe the main audience for this map was young people. But not little kids, and it is drawn and written in a manner that is would have also greatly appealed to adults. The map is the medimum the

Vintage Childs Puzzle, Kitty, Triple thickness, Circa 1950s 60 pc USA TUCO
Great condition on this midcentury childs puzzle. It has 60 pieces, all here, made by Tuco Co of USA. Features a sweet kitty in a box. The pieces are interlocking and triple thick, Almost like a smooth wooden puzzle. No odors, perhaps one or so nib might have alight crease, but NO lifting, etc. Have worked many this week, so cant recall how many small bends. Please see pix to view the great condition. 1952 Denoyer-Geppert Pictorial Map Depicting the Literary Development of the US
Denoyer-Geppert Pull Down School Map all canvas with original mounts and brackets in great shape for being 62 years old. Pulley dose work and holds. Map is super RARE! I have not seen any others like this in this size. It was my mom's she taught 5th grade for the last 40 years in a school that is over 100 years old. This was in her attic for 30-35 years? she has several that she has collected over the years and has asked me to sell. This is probably one of her best maps. A recent appraisal of this same map a little smaller in no where near as nice of shape was priced at 500$ by what it's worth in the Huffington Post. WONDERFUL VINTAGE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE MAP FROM SEPT 1945 NORTHEASTERN UNITED STATES- SEE ALL PICS FOR TINY HOLES BEGINNING AND/OR BENDS/SLIGHT TEARS. SEE BELOW FOR SOME GENERAL INFO REGARDING ALL THE MAPS I HAVE. Please be aware that these National Geographic Maps are between 30 to 80 years old. They are printed on paper that is not acid free and in most cases have not been stored in the best way. So the maps you are buying will be in a condition that reflects both of these facts. The map you get may be worn along the fold lines due to the acidity of the paper and being folded for years. Some of them also have been written on with the date and location. Usually on back but sometimes on the edges. They may also have tiny holes beginning to form where the fold lines meet. They may also be discolored or mottling spots again due to the ... moreacidity of the paper. The borders of the maps may also have small tears. On occasion maps may smell musty from the way they have been stored in the past. When the map is kept in an open area the musty smell will fade away in time. Any damage that is above and beyond the norm will be disclosed.

This has maps of the 48 States and Canada. I could not find a date in the Atlas it looks to be from the 1920's early 1930's. This Atlas is in used condition with some water damage to the top of the back cover. It is solid and has a solid binding, no torn pages and there are 48 pages and it measures approximately 8 1/2" wide by 12" tall folded and 16 1/4" by 8 1/2" unfolded. Questions welcomed. Interesting map of Porto Rico and Rhode Island. Map measures 10 X 13.5 inches. Printed on thin paper. Rail Roads are shown in red. But not named, so thus this is not a railroad map. See scan. Does have a piece of paper missing. The map is not dated. But they came out of a loose leaf binder that has a copyright date of 1919, see above scan of copyright date. Map will come carefully rolled in kraft paper and inside a strong pvc mailing tube. We do not mail flat due to maps being folded. Shoved through mail slots and arriving in terrible condition. We like to get maps to our customers in the same condition as they left. Tracking number will be sent and we get our maps out in one business day.

VINTAGE FOOD MAP of the U.S. by the GREAT ATLANTIC & PACIFIC TEA CO.
Up for bids is a colorful 1932 vintage lithograph map of the U.S. with artwork by Louis Fancher& printed by Plampin Litho. Co. Inc. The map was published by the Great Atlantic& Pacific Tea Company. More popularly known as the grocer, A& P which was one of the biggest, if not the biggest grocer in the U.S. at that time. The map has brightly colored, fanciful depictions of the foods produced in each of the 48 states. It measures 45" wide x 34" tall, has previously been folded into eighths and will be shipped that way. The map is generally in good condition with the main issues being tears along the fold lines: at the middle fold on the left side there is a tear that is about a foot in length, there is a tear along the top edge at the first fold that is 1.5" there is a small tear along the top edge at the last fold ... moreline, a small tear at the bottom of the map along that same fold& a small tear at the top fold on the right edge which has been taped with transparent tape. At the top right corner there is a small tear out where the map had probably been tacked to the wall and there is a corresponding. Tho' smaller tear out at the bottom left There is nothing on the back of the map. All in all, mounted on linen& framed this would make a colorful& interesting decorative piece. 1904 Map Geology Central Great Plains by Darton, Most of SD NE KS, parts others
1904 Preliminary Geology Map of the Central Great Plains by N. H. Darton. 1904. Covers most of South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas and portions of Montana, Colorado and Wyoming and small sections of Minnesota and Iowa. The colorful folding map includes apparently all railroad lines and apparently all railroad towns and stations. There are additional towns not on the rail lines. No roads are shown. Map is about 30 by 30 inches. The map has one repair to a four corner area on the back with archival tape. The front side of the map has little or no apparent paper loss at the four corner fold point east of Denver between the A and P of Arapaho County label. No other tears or repairs noted. Map will be folded for shipping. Seller will pay for insurance and tracking. Questions welcomed.

Downtown Las Vegas offered the comfort of well-worn shoes. Dependable and contagious. Many hotels and casinos would come and go, but some stood the test of time. The 14 casinos represented on this map were important to downtown Las Vegas. This illustrated map is an original piece of art drawn by Susan Hunt Yule. 1960s Indian Tribes Of North America Map By Driver, Cooper, Kirchoff, et al
My wife got this map around 1964-1968 while she was in college majoring in anthropology. It was compiled by Driver. Cooper, Kirchoff, Massey, Rainier and Spier. There is no copyright or date on the map. She hung the map on a wall in her dorm by putting tape on the corners and using pins to secure the corners. Map measures 22 X 34. It is in good condition with a few visible flaws including the tape glue on three corners. The pinholes, the missing corner, and a one half inch tear at the bottom by the piece of scotch tape.

Interesting map of Cleveland Cincinnati Columbus. Map measures 10 X 13.5 inches. Printed on thin paper. Rail Roads are shown in red. But not named, so thus this is not a railroad map. See scan. The map is not dated. But they came out of a loose leaf binder that has a copyright date of 1919, see above scan of copyright date. Map will come carefully rolled in kraft paper and inside a strong pvc mailing tube. We do not mail flat due to maps being folded. Shoved through mail slots and arriving in terrible condition. We like to get maps to our customers in the same condition as they left.
