Size/ Format Sheet: 36 cm x 26 cm(14¼" x 10¼" Margins range from 14 mm- 26 mm(½" 1" The maps are all printed on one integral sheet with a fold in the center. This fold becomes nearly invisible when the map is laid flat. If the map is framed. The fold becomes completely invisible unless inspected very closely. Condition The maps are in very good condition. The colors are bright and there is almost no age-toning. There is an occasional spot or unobtrusive mark in the margins of a few of the maps. The scanned images are un-edited(except for size) and are of the actual map you ... morewill receive. I've noticed that some of the scans look a little blurry or grainy. This is caused by clumsy scanner settings. The maps are very clear with crisp text.

Rare Vintage 1922 Physical Map: Eastern USA Times Atlas Large Folio Bartholomew
A fine antique map from The Times Survey Atlas of the World UNITED STATES EASTERN SECTION Provenance The Times Survey Atlas and Gazetteer of the World by J.G. Bartholomew Published London: The Times Printing House. 1922. Cartographer J.G. Bartholomew. Cartographer to the King. Size/ Format 22.5" x 17.5" 57.6 cm x 44.8 cm) One fold in the centre. The margins are clean and range form 0.5" to 0.8" 1-2 cm) on all sides. These maps were all'tipped in' to the atlas. Which means they can easily be removed as a single sheet with a fold in the centre. Condition Very good. The colors are bright and fresh. The maps themselves. And the margins, are very clean. There are no tears, stains, discolorations or soiling whatsoever. The atlas from which these maps were removed did NOT spend its life at a public library. It was part ... moreof a private collection and was treated very well. Remarks The publication of the Times Survey Atlas in 1922 was the culmination of six years of painstaking work and. With the combination of political and the physical colour range from dark green to dark brown to indicate elevation, it marked the beginning of the age of'modern cartography. It surpassed any atlas before it in terms of scope(112 double-page folio map) and accuracy. Many of the maps published in this atlas were used in other atlases in many countries as recently as the 1970s. These maps will look great framed and hung individually or, on a large wall, in groups. Weimar Germany by Weiland after Kiepert Fine and uncommon old engraved map of Eastern United States. With original outline hand color. Texas is seen at bottom left. A huge Indian Terriroty above it extending north into a vast Minnesota Territory. Beautiful engraving technique, map has a nice visual quality about it. Insets. A picture is worth a thousand words. Otherwise fresh& clean example. Paper and image remains overall clean& sound. Old maps& prints often display small minor repairs on the back. Could have uneven blank margins, might have extraneous fold-lines or other small minor age flaws which do not detract from the visual appeal or value.
