Rand McNally Vacationland Map of the United States. Lithographed in USA. Copyright by RAND McNally and Company. The map has never been pinned. Hung up or used. Has been in the same envelope recieved in for 54 years. Measurements are 52" x 32" That map has some oxidation due to the age on the back of the 3 squares of the back of the map. Turning it over and looking at the front side, the oxidation shows on the very edge. No pinholes or holes bottom edge has slight tear as pictured. Railroads, etc. The map has one center fold given it came from a large book, with no other creases. The map is in great condition for it's age. Some slight signs of age appear but for over 100 years this is in great framing condition, and has a historic look and feel. See photo. Slight discoloring should not effect overall framed map. This is a old school pull down map. The map has a name on the top of them that reads Rand McNally Map/ World History Series. Map editor Knight Biggerstaff, Ph.D Cornell University. Series Editor R.R. Palmer PH.D Litt D, there are 16 maps, all vary in size, first map is 48" wide and 36" long measuring the black boarder line around the map section, the pull down has wear and an attic odor to it, some of the edges of the maps have tears, most of the bottom of the maps where the metal small bar is on has tape on the worn section, one metal bar is missing on one of the maps, there are some stains on the back of each map, the map section on the front of all 16 are in nice condition, clear and nice color, the outside roll up cover has a tear and stains, this has a metal bracket on the top to hang the map on the wall and measures 55 1/2" ... morewide, the section that would be mounted on the wall is missing. There is also a stamped mark that I can't make out completely- ES? MPS Title II? Milwaukee Public School? Vintage 12in Globe Hanging lamp Rand McNally Physical Political ☆ Art Deco☆ Nice
This is a one of a kind Hand-Made hanging lamp! Made from a very cool and apparently rare 1982 12in physical political globe.It has brass pieces on the top and bottom from other various brass globes. The cord is approx 15 feet long with about 12 feet of swag chain.With a switch on it to turn the lamp on and off. The parts do show some age, see pics) i used blue duct tape to soften the edges of the holes. Hopefully the pictures answer your questions but go ahead and ask me if u have other questions. This is a vintage full-page map from a book. Date is listed in the item's title. This map has been removed from a vintage book and EACH PAGE measures about 7" x 10" So keep this in mind if the titles states that this is a 2-page map. We purchased these maps already removed from the book and all I know is the date. But not what book they came from. sorry! Map may not be perfectly clipped and may include some rougher edges and/or small tears. If the the title states that this is a 2-page map.
