A partially visible horizontal top seam and a couple of vertical bottom seams are in need of some slight retouching or they could easily be left as is. There is no evidence of other repairs or breaks that I have noticed.but as can be seen in the photo, the back is covered with paper and I haven't tried to detach it. The mirror itself is in almost perfect shape. There are two heavy duty eyelet fittings on either side to hang it on the wall. Measurements are 15-1/2“width x 31-1/4“ high and it extends out 5” from the wall. The bottom shelf is 4-3/8" deep. While the other two shelves are 2-3/8" deep. The piece weighs 4 pounds 14 ounces. Life marches on adding to ones age as it goes. The time has come for me to downsize. This uniquely fab black linen and painted black wood foot stool-parlor ottoman stands a regal 7 inches in height(even taller when pillow top is fluffed) with a supportive stand being that of 9 inches across in diameter. I do believe from closer inspection one of the foot stools original legs has been moved to a new location-leaving behind a view of where it was at. I don’t know if it is silk or satin, it is thin from age but expected of the era from which it came. There is one small used hole located on one of the pleats and a couple of areas of rub on others. The attached pillow top displays an impressive needlepoint in a peasant design. Impressive but not over the top. Pillow stool skirt is attached as one piece. I did appear at one time one of the wooden legs had a metal medallion with an identification plaque on it. However at this time it is gone-leaving behind the circular area where it had been! I found these at an estate sale in an old barn along with another pair I restored that I have listed right now. Rich, warm, wood tones would go very well with most decor. They are circa 1950 skis, serial number 823 and the length is 6' 11" ... moreThe brand name is ALPINE with Dovre-Kabel bindings. They were covered in dirt and dust and the hardware was tarnished and had started to rust in many places. I really liked that a good bit of the original paint remained and that the owner had painted his initials on the tails of the skis so. I decided to restore these and keep them as original as possible but make them look really sharp. I removed all the hardware and sanded the wood with fine grit paper. Removing some of the finish and grime but, being careful to retain what was left of the original paint scheme. Someone years ago had recoated them with varnish and I removed most all of that. I then sprayed them with several coats of hi-gloss lacquer which I hand-rubbed between coats. This brought them back to life, yet retained their vintage paint scheme, look and the majority of the original finish and paint. All the metal hardware. Original screws included, was then sanded, steel wooled and polished, which took several hours. The bottoms of the skis were sanded and sealed with three sealer coats, keeping the original paint on the bottoms. In all, I spent about 8 or 9 hours plus materials restoring them so, most of the pric

Vtg Antique 1908 Yawman & Earb Metal Card Cabinet File Drawer Brass Handles
Description All metal with faux wood-grain paint and brass handle. Painted label on the front. Very heavy and well constructed. Good condition with age appropriate wear. It has some paint loss. A few scratches, and some surface rust on the back end. The label is mostly intact. The brass has the appropriate patina you'd expect on a piece this old. One of the rods has two patent dates on it. The latest being 1908. It has one card clip. But may be missing another. The knob on the bottom spins one of the rods, and appears to do nothing at all except spin. I think that another card clip might have attached to it and was moved or locked by the knob on the bottom. The switch on the top holds the drawer in place and works great. Measures 16 1/2 in. deep. 11 1/2 in wide, and stands 7 1/2 in. tall. I took photos with and without flash. The flash ... morephotos seem to show off the wood grain and help the wear show up better than the non-flash photos. Antique 1920's Art Deco Pink Slag Glass Akro Agate Houze Bridge Floor Lamp

We have 6 listed this week.My Great Uncle owned a lamp shop in DC for almost 50 years. From the late 30's until the early 80's. The lamps we have listed this week came from his estate. My aunt, his daughter, recently passed away and we took these parts from her attic. Her Dad had strung these parts in order on a piece of wire and had them hanging in his shop. After he passed my aunt brought them home and hung them in her attic. About 10 years ago she gave us a strand of these parts. We found a threaded pole here on ebay and took the pieces ... moreoff of the wire, sliding them down the pole in the order they came off of the wire and we have had a beautiful slag glass floor lamp ever since. My aunt has recently passed away and these parts came from her attic.This one has unusual pink slag glass with rusty brown colored swirls through it. I laid the parts out in a line on the floor and as far as I can tell you'll have a lamp that stands 55" tall. This lamp has all the parts to make a complete lamp including the socket however the socket doesn't snap as it should when you turn the on and off switch so not sure if it will actually work. There are 2 brass sleeves, one twisted and one straight both with matching filigree which I buffed a little so you can see what they'll look like once polished. The steel and cast parts had been stripped of their paint and or plating many years ago and had gotten rusty so I used my wire wheel on them cleaning them up but they will need a final wire brushing before applying the paint. The original paint is still on the bridge or goose neck part. Any of the other metal parts you see that are not cleaned up are brass. The threads in the base look fine and there are no chips or dam

Overall outside dimensions 37" long x 29" wide x 27" high. Inside crib dimensions 35" long x 17" wide x 12" deep. Comes with a white plastic covered Polyurethane foam pad(not shown) dimensions 32"x17"x 2" Previously owned. Shows some effect of use in inconsequential scratches and a few small chips/nicks.
