It was made by Best Buy Office Equipment. This is not the Best Buy stores of today, but was a small one store operation. I am unsure of the exact age of the desk but I would guess that it dates to the 1950's or possibly into the early 1960's. It has had a keyboard slide out platform added to it that came from Staples. I do not know when this was added, but it was most likely fairly recently. The height beneath this pull out where the chair would go is 24.5" high. The desk is 29.5" tall, 20" deep, 60" wide.

This is a really handsome civil war era sloped field desk. It was given as a gift to a doctor in the near past and the brass plate is on the top. This could easily be replaced Measures 20" across. It is 7" high and 10 3/4" wide. This was well used and there are signs of this. But the desk looks great as it stands today over 150 years later. On the front there is a small piece of veneer missing on the right front edge. First picture shows this There is a surface crack on the right end over the brass handle. See in the last picture. Antique Carved Leaves Wooden Oak Desk Top Book Shelf/Case c1900
This is a beautiful antique book shelf that was once attached to the top of an old deck. This piece is approximately c1900 and I think it is oak. The ends are carved leaves and berries. The black dots you may see are from my camera lens. I do not see any repair s or real issues. The dimensions are as follows: length = 16.5" width = 10.25" height = 5.75" If you want more pictures just let me know.

Which has a burr walnut writing surface and turned timber divides. The bureau sits on a chest of three drawers, each drawer beautifully finished with burr walnut inlaid panels.The base and secretaire sections together measure 93cm high and 43.5cm deep. National Furniture Desk/ Vanity. This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Although it needs to be refinished, the wood and all parts are still strong and in very good condition. There is a crack through the mirror that would need to be replaced or removed, but the original hardware keeping it in place is still attached. All hardware is original, and in very good condition. The center compartment when lifted reveals a compartmentalized interior with a locking, push to release, bracket inside. Can be used as a vanity, or as a desk. Vintage Wooden Foldable Mitchell Lap Table/Portable Work Desk Industrial US Made
Interesting and unusual find: Vintage antique wooden foldable lap desk or travel work table. Made by the Mitchell Moulding Company Park Forest, Illinois. Called the Mitchell Lap Table, this table has wrought iron side bars adjustable by wing nuts. It folds flat for travel or portability. It is meant for the lap, and not to stand alone on a surface, as the legs are foldable. The underside is covered in green felt. It is definitely pre-1950 and has an industrial design to it. It is in very good condition for its age, and has its original finish,with some minor scuffing and signs of wear. It is missing one nut on the back(easy to replace) which doesn't affect the use of the desk. It measures 12" x 17" and weighs just under 5 pounds. Vintage Furniture: Antique Wood Writing Desk- Cherry- 2 x 4 ½ Ft. This neat old desk is in the Queen Anne style. It’s all wood with solid cherry and cherry veneers. And brass hardware. I got it from an antique store about 20 years ago. The store owner said he brought it back from a buying trip to England. It’s very functional and cool looking. It can be used for all kinds of purposes in addition to a normal writing desk, including dressing table, computer table, side board, etc. The only reason I am selling is that we are redecorating after moving to a new house and need something completely different. The top measures 24" 2' deep. 54" 4" 6" wide, and 29" tall. There is a 23" wide center drawer with a built in pencil tray. There are two, 12" drawers(one on each side) There are two, 18.5" wide ... moreslide out writing extension boards that extend another 12" out of each end. Most of the wear on the piece was there when I bought it. But there were a few more unavoidable dings of my own along the way. There is a general collection of small nicks or marks, and a small piece of veneer missing on the bottom front edge. Any such issues are easily reparable, but that was just never anything I needed to do when I was using it. Now that I’m redecorating anyway, it’s easier to just price the piece on the low side and let the new owner take care of things as they wish. I can’t really ship this due to size and weight. But you can pick it up in Bean Station, Tennessee(less than 1 hour NE of Knoxville and 1 hour from the Smoky Mountains. a nice place to visit if you haven’t been here! Vintage Furniture: Wood Desk- 1940's- Walnut- 2 ½ x 5 Ft. This neat old desk is all wood with solid walnut and walnut veneers. I got it from an antique store almost 40 years ago. It’s extremely functional and very cool looking. The only reason I am selling is that we are redecorating after moving to a new house and need something completely different. The top measures 30" 2' 6" deep. 58" 4" 10" wide, and 29" tall. There is an eased edge strip all around the top. The sides and back extend down about 23" where they meet the leg pedestals. It’s a full wrap around design in back. There is a leg pedestal on each side and all four feet are adjustable. The drawers are dove tailed with wood pulls about 5" long. There is one double size drawer for files plus five single size drawers. All the drawers ... morehave moveable inserts to create different sized storage spaces, plus one pencil tray with several compartments. There are two slide out writing extension boards(one on each side) with small metal pulls. There is probably less wear than would be expected for it’s age. But normal signs of age and use are unavoidable. There are some ancient marks that were there when I got it, and a few more dings of my own along the way. The biggest condition issue is damage from the movers during the relocation mentioned above. a few pieces of veneer are missing from the lower right side. This is all easily reparable when I had an expert look at it, and I absolutely would have done so except for the redecorating previously mentioned. Instead, I’ll just price it on the low side and let the new owner take care of things as they wish. I can’t really ship this due to size and weight. But you can pick it up in Bean Station, Tennessee(less than 1 hour NE of Knoxville and 1 hour from the Smoky Mountains. a nice place to visit if you haven’t been here!
