22" x 42"Headboard 41" tall,Footboard 33" tall.Cradle was in very good to excellent condition when found but refinished about 20 years ago.Can not find any labels or markings but it sure looks like it might be made by HORNER.Mattress boards replaced and brass hardware on foot board for locking an unlocking to be able to rock.Brass bar for locking can be placed on other side depending on what side of cradle you might place against the wall.All other hardware is original cast iron with a nice patina,original wood wheels also.All wood carving excellent,nothing patched or missing.I do have a 4" thick foam semi hard pad that can go with it if desired and a plain white cloth dust ruffle that we use to tack on the inner side of cradle.We used it with our four grand children and it was great! Antique furniture hand carved oak barley twist cane arm chair. This chair has been in the family for over 75 years(possible 100 years) And was given to me by my Grandfather, who operated a furniture caneing factory in Boston, MA. I'm not sure of the origin country(France or England? the style(Baroque? or even exact year produced(pre or post 1920? but I'm confident it's an original production. The chair is in good condition. Although it has a few defects. The right arm is detached, and the caneing is tearing apart from the seat. The chair is showing normal signs of fading and scratches from normal wear and tear. The chair has never been restored, and stands in its original state. The chair has exquisite hand carved detail. The listing is described to the best of my ability. Here is a wonderful sewing box on feet. It has 5 panels carved to represent short stories from Hans Christian Andersen. It measures 27” tall. 22” wide, 16” deep and is 41 ½” tall open. The top is“The Ugly Duckling” The front is“The Little Mermaid” the back is“The Butterfly” I believe) and either side has“Jack& The Beanstalk” and“Jack The Dullard” I believe) The scenes on this piece are outstanding. I believe this piece to be turn of the 20 th century. It has a great oak exterior and two interior sliding shelves. One has burl covers on it. There is some damage to the area around 1 hinge and an old repair to the wood top in that area as can be seen in the photos. Currently that hinge is loose as the screws won’t hold. There are some splits to the oak as can be seen. The piece is very sturdy and very much solid. It is not loose or wobbly ... morein any way. I assume this to be one of a kind as I have never seen anything remotely close to the wonderful character carvings on this piece. To have them on every side of the stand makes it a show piece from any angle. I could only post 12 photos on Ebay but I will take many more and send them to you if you want.
