There's some sort of identifying mark on the underside of the knocker, very small oval shape but not legible. There's a number below and left of it that looks like a 1, but may just be a glitch in the mold. Two holes for adhering to door. It's about 9 1/2" tall and 6" wide. A very fine antique. Circa 1890's, black enameled cast iron and steel rod dictionary stand with cherry boards. It is on casters, the dictionary holder arms adjustable, the rod adjustable for height. The boards can adjust from 19" wide from board to board to 21-1/2" wide from board to board. The stand is 40" at tallest. Excellent condition: cast iron without breaks or losses, all adjustment keys present, original enamel finish unworn. The steel rod has mild surface rust(as usual. The boards are in the original finish, no chips or cracks. The stand has no maker's name. The stand can be disassembled for shipment.

For sale here is a gorgeous antique Victorian CAST IRON STOVE WITH STORKS AND TILES. It measures 29 1/4 inches tall X 30 1/4 across x 23 1/4 deep. Marked PAT'D DEC 28 1886. The tiles are marked on their backside HAMILTON OHIO. It is very dirty and needs cleaned up as it has been used up to just recently in an outbuilding on an estate farm. Pictures show it well but it does have some damage- The skirt that goes around the base is broke into 4 pieces but is all there. The bottom left corner of the lower doors is broke off but there and there may be a crack here or there but does not distract. Backside is rusty- has a hole- etc. but still works. Displays great! From estate is this pair of MARKED jacks(jax? cast iron bookends. Each marked with a letter. Originally I thought the letters were F and C, but upon inspection with an eye loop, the F turned out to be a B. initials of Bill Curry?There are no other markings on the set. From ball to ball, each measures 6 1/2 inches, set weighs in at 3 lbs 7 oz. There is substantial paint loss on this set, just remnants of the original black paint. Other than that, no damage.
