Set includes a chest of drawers(36" W x 19" D x 52" H) Nightstand/side table(22" W x 14" D x 23" H) and a king headboard(81" W x 48" H) Color is white laquer with gold and mother of pearl inlaid pieces. This is a great heavy solid wood set. Both chests have a piece of plexiglass for the tops, they were cut a little larger to prevent dings on the top sides. We aquired this set in an estate that we purchased the contents of so I do not know the exact age or the maker. All inlaid pieces are attached and I did not see any broken pieces on any. As with all vintage pieces it is in used condition and does have a few minor dings in the paint but could be easily fixed and may have a few minor scratches but only surface. The ... morebiggest flaw is on the nightstand, where the plexiglass sits on top a little of the gold has been transferred on it off of the top. Again this is minor and when the plexiglass is on its barely noticable. VINTAGE / ANTIQUE WOODEN STAND UP GLASS STARBURST ASHTRAY
What a really rare find and ready for display or for all your tobacco needs. It is sturdy and does have a little bit of a wobble when on a flat surface but can be an easy fix just put some feet or felt on the bottom. Stands 26 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter at base. Ashtray base is 7 inches in diameter and ashtray 4 inches round. A great find a super cool starburst glass ashtray that sits in a 1/4 inch grove so so worries about is sliding off. Large Antique Store Cabinet (Local Pickup Only)
Large antique store cabinet. I don't know what kind of wood it is but it is very heavy solid wood. Top and bottom do not come apart. It is all one piece. It measures 7 ft 6 1/4 in by 6 ft wide. 20 in deep at the bottom and 14 1/2 in deep at the top. It has 2 large shelves to go in the bottom and 4 smaller ones for the top. It has been in storage and is dusty. We were going to fix it and use it in our house but have moved and no longer have room for it. Picture isn't very good. It is not wider at the bottom like it looks in the picture. It is just the way I was standing below it. The doors are missing and it needs to be refinished. People closely gathered around them to keep warm. Women's makeup was made of wax back then and it melted on their faces if they sat too close to the heat of the fireplace. Thus- the fire screens were invented to shield the lady's faces from the direct heat. The screens were placed between the fireplace and the lady. As heat by fire places were replaced by central heating. These marvelous screens became used as decorative display pieces. This one is exceptionaly beautiful and the hand stitching is very intricate. The Kohn company was a contemporary competitor of Thonet. This chair measures app. 26" high by 18" by 18" All measurements are taken at the widest point. It is made of oak and I believe it has the original caning or a early replacement. This chair has an old repair on the right front leg. It is sturdy and not very noticeable and from the day when things were fixed and not so easily discarded. There are a few little scrapes from use and age too. Up for auction we have this FANTASTIC mid century modern/ craftsman style/ Eames Era. Folding magazine rack. Circa 1958 It is in wonderful condition with only minor wear. It has horizontal slats on the bottom in a curved shape with a sturdy carrying handle. When opened the top of it is 20 1/2" long& 19" tall, but folds up flat to measure 2" deep. There are few minor dings in the wood but nothing too bad and you can see from the photos how pretty it is. There is a spot in the center of the slats where the wood is a little worn. It is stamped on the bottom Masterpiece In Wood Nasco Yugoslavia. This comes from a clean smoke free home with a dog and is a lovely beautiful piece.

ORIGINAL AND RARE FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT SCONCE FROM GENEVA HOTEL [C.1911]
Offered for bid is an original. Rare wall sconce designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for The Geneva Hotel, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin[C.1911] raised 1970} The sconce is comprised of a wooden back plate with chamfered edges[4 1/8" wide by 8 1/2" high] upon which is set a bronze[ I believe] shaft and brass socket cover which is missing the original socket. This sconce is not complete: it is missing the carmel-yellow slag glass panels on the front and on both sides. Also missing is a single screw and I have replaced 4 screws[brass which I patinated- good job! A picture of a complete sconce is shown above in the picture gallery. This image is taken from a December 6, 2009 auction at The Treadway-Toomey Gallery[Oak Park, Illinois] This intact sconce brought $4287.50[realized price] In September 2010 at this same auction gallery, two indentical ... moreGeneva Hotel sconces with only an original stained glass panel and reproduction side panels[ i.e. both examples missing their original stain glass side panels] realized $3185 and $2450 respectively. Farmhouse Country Primitive Chimney Cabinet This is a classic early country style chimney cabinet. The maximum overall sizes are approx 25" wide x 14" deep at the overhanging top x 72" overall height. The Cabinet body measures 12" deep x 21" wide. The door is 15" wide. I handcraft these cabinets competely from pine. The backboard is made from individual pine beadboards. The raised panel doors are also hand cut to give the cabinet that old fashioned look and charm. It has six fixed shelves inside the cabinet. The bottom 4 shelves have 11 inches of space between them. The 5th shelf up has 10" and the top shelf has 9-3/4" of clearence. Adorable china cabinet with arched wood on doors
Pretty stained china cabinet made of wood and glass and built in 1966. The stain is a colonial maple and the cabinet is in great condition. The doors on the top have a arch above the glass and each handle on the cabinets and drawer has new vintage looking handles shown in pictures. The cabinet is 70' tall. 34" wide and shelving inside top of cabinet is 11/4" deep and the bottom cabinet is 15" deep.
