Rough and oxidized, the surface has a nice appeal and growing patina that is very attractive. Intricately carved of the solid, the apron is a complex swirl of foliage with intermingled vines and flowers, flanked by the robust C-scroll carved knees with florals draping amongst scattered acanthus. The legs have a fine cabriole form, tapering softly into the high acanthus ankle and scrolled french toes. Plain molding frames the solid slab of white marble, supported from beneath by an x-stretcher, such that the marble can support great weight with no difficulty. It is a very attractive painted piece for the interior designer or anyone with a Rococo or Louis XV style in their home. Typically used as a hall table, centered in a large entryway with something magnificent on top of it, this table also works well between a pair of chairs or beside a large sofa. Measurements: 36" x 36" top diameter) x 30 1/4" high Condition Report: All leg joints reglued with some glue remaining visible. Resulting in a very sturdy and stable structure. The tables probably date to the 1950s to 1960s. Just a beautiful red stain on the tables. The main wood used appears to be mahogany and the inlay is a satinwood and ebony. The inlay around the perimeters of the tables and leaves is just beautiful. Inlay also on the legs. And the shape of the leaves is just very eye catching where in position or folded down. The arms to hold the leaves in position are there and all work as they should. And check out the beautiful brass feet in place on each ... moretable. The tables were hard to take pictures of with the light we had to work with. there appears to be some bands going across the table top. There is nothing there, just the inlay along the perimeter. The finish on these vintage tables is in very nice condition. They were very well taken care of by their previous owners over the past 50 plus years. There are just some minor markings on the top of one of the tables in a small area. A small chip out of the edge of one of the leaves. Each drawer has a brass pull that is securely attached to it. The inside of both drawers is very clean. Each table is 27" tall. By 17" across, by 24-1/8" wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. What sets these pieces apart from the usual offerings in the"upcycled" and"retro" genre is that they are crafted by a local veteran furniture craftsman to fine-furniture standards. The tosp of the"redwood fence" end tables are not just the usual bunch of boards glued to a piece of plywood. But rather each two pieces are splined together to form a solid, stable surface. They retain the look of upcycled fence boards but are sensuously smooth to the touch and will never crack or split a seam. The side panels are repurposed from cedar siding planks removed from the wall of a 50-year-old house remodeled in Hilo Hawaii. The legs and framework are welded industrial iron finished in a soft silver for a pleasant contrast to the wood. They are 25 3/4ths by 25 3/4ths' square by 21' tall. Brown wood w kind of a parque square blocks on top. Each has a single drawer that looks like two with dove tailed edges. Top has a hollowed inset which gives it a framed edge look. This has solid wood drawers etc but unfortunately had some water rings from a cup. The worst along the back top of one and another lighter one or two that the orange oil seem to disappear but as you know sometimes comes back when oil ... moredrys but looks good when oiled. A doily or a lamp might be able to be placed on the dark ring for those that don't want to refinish and those that do and are very particular there are some slight bumps and dents here and there, I noticed a leg had some thin scratches on it which some might have scratched the varnish but nothing too difficult to have refinished if wanted or too noticeable(other than the dark ring) Also there are treatments to help get out rings now that don't have to refinish you could look into. The brass pulls are patina-ed a bit. We are Not smokers un known if others before us were but I don't smell any scents other than orange oil. Vintage early 1900's Cobbler's Bench. In great shape. The surface has little nail marks from someone actually utilizing this bench. Which I think is pretty neat. This is perfect for someone looking to make a coffee table or bedside table or a cobbler enthusiast could add it to collection. This is a beautiful early 1800’s wood bed and matching dresser(European origin) The headboard is 7’ 11” tall and the bed is 5’ 4” wide, footboard is 33” tall, the matching dresser is 42” wide and 32” high and 20” deep(not shown at this time is the original antique matching mirror plus a marble top is currently being created for this piece) the two matching end tables were custom made in modern times to match the bed and dresser, sold as one set please, email your questions, thank you JH
